Working with Dennis was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. When we first started discussing how to go about choosing a celebrant, it seemed a little daunting. How do you find someone that you've never met before to perform a wedding ceremony that feels unique, personalized, and meaningful? Then we met Dennis. Dennis has a unique ability to listen and observe. He never felt like a stranger and really understood our relationship and what we are about. He crafted a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony that was even more special than we could have imagined. Due to COVID, we made the decision to postpone the big wedding to 2021 and had a small immediate family only ceremony this year. We are so excited to work with Dennis again next year.

Dennis was great! From our first meeting, we could tell he was punctual and professional and committed to crafting us a great ceremony. We had several meetings after that to review our story and what we wanted to be included in the ceremony. He was very responsive to questions and worked with us to revise multiple drafts after our feedback to make sure everything was going to be perfect. When we got to the wedding day, we already knew it was going to be a great ceremony and it certainly was. I would highly recommend Dennis and Rocky Mountain Custom Ceremonies.

If you are looking for the perfect officiant, hands down it's Dennis. To this day, we *still* receive compliments on how beautiful, funny, touching, personal our ceremony was. I swear our families bring it up at least once a month. Dennis was so so so wonderful. For a more detailed overview, the process is seamless, painless, and actually pretty exciting. For us, we live a little further from Dennis, so our communication was via the Knot, email, and phone calls. The questionnaire he asks his couples to answer (which he crafts the ceremony from) is thorough, but thoughtful and not at all invasive. Thinking through your answers makes you fall in love with your partner all over again. You think you have a pretty good idea of what the ceremony will be or sound like based on your answers, but the sentiment, bits of laugher, and good old fashioned magic that Dennis adds to it can never be expected. He himself elevates the whole story and moment. Sure, family, friends, loved ones could read your answers and likely do a good job at performing a ceremony for you. But then you'd never experience this magic. Most people tend to remember the reception/party the most from their day. Not us, and apparently not our guests either. We remember the ceremony. Sure, we're biased, but we believe it was the most beautiful wedding ceremony ever. A few more noteworthy details: Dennis is incredibly thoughtful and patient. He has suggestions for unique situations you may have with the processional, family, and even what to do with your hands during the ceremony (if you haven't thought about that, it's nice to chat through with your partner ahead of time! ;)). We have two dogs who were in our ceremony and he had great suggestions for how to incorporate them as well. Thank you, Dennis! You were such a joy to work with and you truly did make our already special day even more magical. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dennis is amazing. The ceremony that he crafted for my wife and I was absolutely perfect. It had all the right amounts of humor, sincerity, advice, and honesty. The ceremony had such a personal touch that guests afterwards asked how we had been friends with Dennis. He was so easy to work with and accommodated all our of requests. He also helped with our marriage license after the ceremony was over. We can't say enough great things about Dennis. Highly recommend!

WOW! Dennis was extremely thorough, thoughtful & hilarious in the interview process/questionnaire leading up to him creating our beautiful ceremony. He reviewed what he built for us, let us make whatever changes we wanted & come wedding day, he looked dapper AF & killed the delivery. It was both sentimental & funny, & totally mirrored my bride and my personalities. I believe it very much resonated with us and our guests. We got TONS of very nice compliments from our guests and requests for Dennis’s contact information not only from our guests but from all of our vendors for partner opportunities! I’ll just say, never expected to have so much fun with the ceremony & Dennis delivered a knock out. Absolutely killed it. Dennis was the best officiant we could have asked for. My husband and I were most nervous about the ceremony during the planning process, and he really helped curb our anxiety. He was able to take the reigns to help us make some crucial decisions, while still being open and flexible. Dennis was communicative throughout the whole process and always seemed so organized. We had several family members tell us that our ceremony was the perfect mix of funny and touching, and it really seemed to represent us as a couple--what more would you want? Dennis was our celebrant and he couldn’t have done a better job. He really spent the time to get to know us while writing our ceremony, and it definitely showed! SO many of our guests commented on how great of a job he did and asked who he was afterwards. He is a total pro at this. He also dressed super sharp which looked nice in our photos from the day. I could not be happier with the results of hiring Dennis to be our officiant for our wedding. To give you some background, we live in Texas and our wedding was in Estes Park. Planning a destination wedding has it's own unique challenges. However, Dennis made the distance feel like it was nothing. He met with us several times via phone and really got to know us. The result: a wonderful and warm ceremony that was perfectly catered to us. After the ceremony, my family kept telling me how perfect the ceremony was and I 100% agreed. There are not enough words to describe how happy my (now husband) and I are that we hired Dennis as our officiant. Being a destination wedding for my husband and I, it was difficult finding an officiant when all we could do is read reviews and communicate via telephone and e-mail. Our first interaction with Dennis was through FaceTime- we knew he was the one after the first few minutes of our conversation with him. He was so kind with a personality you are instantly drawn to. Dennis sent us a questionnaire to answer separately so he could really get to know us as a couple. After the questions were answered, we had several phone conferences discussing the answered questions so he could dig a little deeper. We were able to “build” our ceremony exactly how we wanted, which made our ceremony so special. My husband and I really wanted a personal, romantic ceremony with a bit of humor, and Dennis did an amazing job delivering it all. At the end of our ceremony many people asked us if we knew Dennis personally- that’s how great he told our story! He even helped us through the process of obtaining a marriage license and answered every question we ever had. Hiring Dennis was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding, I will never forget the love, emotions, and laughter he brought to the most important and special day of our lives!

Dennis was absolutely amazing to work with! He built us a truly customized ceremony that we loved and our guests enjoyed. Throughout the night, friends and family complimented how unique it was and how great of an officiant we had. We couldn't have asked for a better ceremony and officiant! After the ceremony, Dennis took care of all the paperwork which let us have a stress free reception. Dennis was extremely easy to work with. He talked us through his process during our initial chat. It consisted of us first filling out forms separately answering some questions about us as a couple, and individually. He then created a ceremony for us that he sent for revisions. We went through it together to make it perfect. Dennis went about and beyond to get to know us to truly make this a one of a kind ceremony. We met in person for drinks and really got to know him and tell our story. This translated so well into the ceremony. One thing I really appreciated was his guidance. At one point we talked about doing our own vows but were very nervous about it. Dennis told us it wouldn't add any stress and we wouldn't be any more nervous on our wedding day and he was right! With his help and great officiating, it was an extremely memorable ceremony.

For anyone who is reading reviews wondering if spending the money to hire someone is worth it when you have family/friends who could get ordained and do it for free.... It is 1000% worth it, seriously. We had a couple things go wrong during the ceremony where a family/friend probably would have just stood there awkwardly or not known what to do but Dennis made a couple jokes and lightened the mood. Garrett and I know that we could not have chosen a better person to officiate our wedding. The ceremony was extremely personal and Dennis made every little change I asked until it was absolutely perfect! He also brought our vows for us, which is a huge stress saver on the big day! A lot of people asked my mom afterwards how long we had known Dennis, and it is incredible how he can make people feel that way after just a questionnaire and a couple phone conversations. He also steps out of the way so the photographer gets a clear first kiss picture. This may seem simple but a LOT of wedding pictures I have seen they don't step away and while we really like Dennis we don't really want a picture of him behind us during our first married kiss to be hanging on our wall. Dennis seriously was the best. Garrett and I really wanted the ceremony to be personal, funny yet serious, and really show our love and it was all of those!

Dennis from RMCC truly made our wedding day very special and memorable. Leading up to the big day, Dennis met with us a few times to get to know us and learn how we wanted our ceremony officiated. He is accommodating to any style of ceremony you could wish for; most importantly, he is personal so that he could get to know us and incorporate personal elements in the ceremony. He is also very professional and willing to do whatever it takes to make your ceremony the most special day of your life. Many of our wedding guests commented that it was the best ceremony that they had attended (even better than their own children's weddings!) , and we would strongly agree. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant. He was absolutely amazing! We had a meeting in person, and then a few skype calls through out, and he nailed our ceremony vision. It was a perfect mixture of christian aspects and our personal story. EVERYONE thought he had known us forever by how many personal details he included in our ceremony. He was so professional, and answered all my questions through out. He was so easy to work with, and just so sincere. I received so many complements from my guests on how beautiful the ceremony was. I would give Dennis more stars if I could! He took the time to get to know us and really personalized our ceremony. Not a cookie cutter ceremony! He had the perfect mix of pleasing our religious relatives and liberal friends. Our wedding was almost a month ago and we are still getting complements about how fun our ceremony was to listen to and how thoughtful Dennis made it. Our friends and family were blown away by how awesome Dennis & Rocky Mountain Custom Ceremonies were at helping make an unforgettable wedding. Luckily in a good way, as most everyone remembers that unforgettably awkward and cringe worthy ceremony that you dread being your own. He was very throughouh leading up to the ceremony in asking questions and providing the outline to his custom and personal ceremony he created specifically for us.

There are not enough words to describe the terrific job that Dennis did for my husband and I wedding day. From the very beginning Dennis walked us through step by step what he needed from us (which wasn't much)! Each of us filled out a questionnaire and from those answers and one meeting in person he created a beautiful ceremony that we will remember forever. What made it so perfect is after the ceremony we had family and friends asking us how we knew Dennis! This to us was a huge compliment to him that he had everyone thinking he had known us for years and made us feel even better! He even sends in the marriage license for you and for a bride and groom that planned and coordinated everything else one less thing to worry about after was great!! He is also very good at adjusting to the feel of your ceremony to make everyone feel comfortable even if it gets uncomfortable for a moment and keeps your guests engaged with you!! Dennis was PERFECT for us! He really got to know us which made for a ceremony that represented us to a T. He had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire separately to really get to know our story. We talked on the phone multiple times to get our ceremony just right. We really wanted a light hearted ceremony that was short and to the point and we got exactly that. It was also fun, our guest laughed and cried and it was truly perfect. We highly recommend Dennis and his services!!

Dennis was THE best choice when it came to our wedding. I am so glad I came across his website because from day one, he has been so personable. He remembered so many details from our very first phone call before we officially booked with him. He created our ceremony to be exactly what we wanted! He made it so fun by incorporating details that we asked (like our proposal story and references to Fast and Furious movies) while also keeping it the exact tone we wanted (funny but also emphasizing our long journey as a couple). He gave great advice on where things should be mentioned and also provided traditional and unique examples for ceremony rituals. When we had questions or changes, he did not hesitate to answer or adjust the ceremony. He did so much work on his end that it felt like I did nothing. We did not write our own vows, but he put all details we asked for into our ceremony and let us read it a few times before the big day. Out of all the details of our wedding thus far, our guests have commented the most about how perfectly Dennis nailed my ceremony. Most guests have asked if we've known Dennis personally because his ceremony was so spot on. I would highly, highly recommend Dennis to anyone who is looking for a fun ceremony! He made it so easy and I couldn't have asked for anyone better!

Dennis was fantastic! Everything about the process was flawless. I was actually a little worried about writing our ceremony because I had no idea where to begin. Little did I know, he takes care of everything! He initially asked us to fill out a questionnaire - separately - and at first I wasn't so sure about this. HOWEVER, it turned out to be the BEST way to get both of us talking about our relationship and what makes it so special. It had me thinking about things that I hadn't thought of in years and brought up so many good memories. It also allowed Dennis to have some great material to work with when writing our ceremony! Ultimately our ceremony turned out to be perfect. It was just the right amount of funny, endearing, romantic and kept everyone engaged for the short 20 min (as requested!). We heard such great things from our guests after the ceremony as well - everyone loved Dennis! He customized our wedding ceremony to be just perfect for us. From the moment we hired Dennis, essentially everything about our ceremony was taken care of—and he did a fantastic job. First, he took the time to really get to us as a couple. Then he crafted a totally original and unique ceremony based on us. If you want a ceremony that will make your guests laugh, cry, and say, "That was so them," then look no further. He's certainly a great officiant, but he's also just a really nice guy. From the moment you meet, you feel like you've been friends for years... a friend you can open up to about all the ins-and-outs of what makes your relationship tick. He was constantly supportive, helped us through the entire wedding/ceremony planning process, was ALWAYS super responsive, and just made every touch point calming and easy. We worked with Dennis Robinson for our wedding and he was a wonderful celebrant. Some words to describe Dennis and/or our experience with him would be: Professional, Down to Earth, Articulate, Personalized, Calming My husband and I live in DC but got married in CO. We found Dennis through wedding wire and while he didn't have a ton of reviews, his reviews were stellar. And that was definitely our experience as well. We had a predominantly non-denominational wedding while incorporating some spiritual elements. He was flexible, responsive, and helped us craft a ceremony that was truly unique to my husband and I. He took the time to get to know us and was professional, organized, responsive, and yet very warm and down to earth. After the ceremony, we had several guests come up to us saying what a special ceremony and how they really felt that they got to know more about my husband and I through Dennis' words. Dennis made me, my husband, and our story shine through and that was noticed by us and all of our guests. Even though my husband and I knew the ceremony script, we were both so engaged throughout the entire ceremony, as if we had heard it for the first time. My husband was even surprised as he wasn't expecting the ceremony to be one of his favorite moments form that day but it definitely was and Dennis was a huge contributor to that. Couldn't have asked for a better celebrant!

First of all, I want to note that my husband and I live in Houston, TX and we planned a destination wedding in Vail, CO completely online. Reading reviews on The Knot (and other sites as well) allowed me to contact the vendors I was interested in working with basically pre-sold. Most of my decisions came directly from these reviews, and I don't regret it! Rocky Mountain Custom Ceremonies has great reviews for a reason. Dennis was very awesome to work with. We chose his middle package, which was the perfect fit for our ceremony. It was a little pricey to me at first, but I liked the idea of having a little 'more' than your traditional wedding ceremony. His style of story-telling is truly a work of art, and after the final ceremony reading was shared with us about a month before the wedding, I knew it was absolutely worth the money. He is so flexible, and if there's something specific you want in your ceremony, it will be done. And even if there's something specific you want, but you're also not really quite sure what it is, Dennis will figure it out and make it happen. Truly a great person to work with. All of our guests laughed and cried and commented on how special the ceremony felt. I highly recommend booking him to officiate your wedding ceremony in Colorado! I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Custom Ceremonies to any couple getting married in Colorado, especially so for those in Summit County. Dennis did an excellent job as an officiant and even though we experienced white-out conditions atop Loveland Pass, he arrived early and prepared the perfect speech for us as a couple. I'll forever remember and cherish the moment we shared atop Loveland Pass and the ceremony, though short and sweet, was everything I wanted it to be! Thank you Dennis!
