I had hired Rocky Top Photography over a year prior to my wedding day event. We had spoke about what I wanted and I thought everything was clear. Roxanne showed up at the hotel at ...
the time we discussed and started taking pictures of the girls getting ready, then went next-door took pictures of the guys getting ready. They really were just random pictures she never really asked for any particular poses or offered any ideas, it seemed we were always asking her to take pictures of certain things. Most of the photos were terrible lighting which wasn’t entirely her fault but she never mentioned to turn a different way or pose in a different way for better lighting she just was snapping pictures. Then when it comes to the actual venue again the posed pictures of us and the bridal party were very minimal. Only had two pictures with my husband. Again we felt like we were directing her. She didn’t offer any particular poses or anything that we may not have thought of. Again the lighting was terrible lots of pictures where we weren’t looking at her or someone wasn’t smiling. But the worst of all is she did not get any pictures of the bride coming down the aisle. Nor any pictures of the maid of honor and the best man coming down the aisle. When asked about this she explained her camera had malfunctioned and she apologized but we did not have any of those moments. This was especially devastating for me as my son was the one who walked me down the aisle and I had no pictures of that. Ultimately she ended up refunding us $300 of our 850 original payment which I guess that’s all she really could do. But overall was not happy with the experience at all .
