lute pleasure to work with and made the whole process of planning and pulling off our wedding a breeze. The planning -- My husband and I live in New York and planned our entire wedding from afar. Most people we spoke to thought that this would be extremely stressful for us given that we didn't have easy access to the venue or vendors that we ultimately hired. But Courtney and her team made themselves fully available to us whenever we needed over the year of planning. All of our phone calls, emails, and texts were quickly answered. In addition, she gave us amazing recommendations for vendors we should use. These vendors are experienced in working with Rocky's, which meant even less work for us to coordinate. The whole process made wedding planning a joy for us! ADDED BONUS #1: Rocky's has amazing decor available at no additional cost. We ended up incorporating so many of the props and flowers into our ceremony and reception layouts, turning the venue into what we envisioned and making it perfect. ADDED BONUS #2: Rocky's has a gorgeous indoor back up space in case it rains. Luckily, we had beautiful weather on the day but this is definitely a concern for any couple planning an outdoor wedding and knowing we had a perfect indoor spot as a back up definitely took a lot of stress away leading up to the day. The day of -- As expected, I was nervous. So was my husband. And if it wasn't for Rocky's (Courtney and her team), I'm sure we wouldn't have been able to pull off such an amazing wedding. Courtney was there at all times making sure everything went smoothly. It ended up being a beautiful day that we will remember forever! We can't recommend this venue enough!

A few things I want to make sure to highlight that would make you want to book them: 1. Candice. She’s been with Rocky’s since the beginning and is the absolute best resource possible! She helped answer endless questions and sent us links to all kinds of helpful planning tools and wedding sites. She kept things moving so well on wedding day too and she’s truly just a gift to be able to have help you. 2. Rain plan. Everybody’s always a little nervous for rain on their wedding day when you initially plan an outdoor ceremony and on my wedding day it rained all the way up until about an hour and 20 minutes before ceremony time. Rocky’s is amazing in that they have gorgeous options for outdoor or indoor so I wasn’t too nervous either way but ideally wanted things outside. They set up both options, inside and outside, just to be safe but trusted me when I said I wanted it outside and went into motion and it ended up being perfect! But all day they were so great about the rain and prepping and it was so nice to not have any stress about that. 3. Their whole package truly cannot be beat. We looked at countless venues and the fact that Rocky’s has all these different decor options on-hand to choose from just made the entire process so simple and nice. Thrilled to be able to say there’s not a single thing we would’ve changed! We had the best day every and Rocky’s will forever be the most special place to both of us! It’s the perfect place for a wedding and I’m absolutely going to recommend them to everyone!

stroke before the big day ever arrived, but Candice assured me regularly that it would all be fine and that my daughter would have her dream day. The day before the wedding we had hiccups with one of the vendors, but behind the scenes (without the bride even knowing) Candice helped me with the vendor and put in extra time and effort to make things perfect. As I lay in bed unable to sleep the night before the wedding, Candice sent me a text promising that my daughters wedding would be everything she dreamed of...it was even MORE. The venue and staff were amazing. Candice went so far and above to make sure every detail was covered to perfection. I can not imagine a more perfect event. Rocky, his venue and staff will always have a special place in my heart for providing such a magnificent day for my girl and her husband.

have good taste, and i can never decide on anything. Candice was amazing throughout our process. She helped me coordinate what would look good where and gave me so many ideas I would have never thought of on my own. (I even changed my wedding colors because of her suggestion, which was the best decision ever) I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding! It was everything and so much more! Every detail was so thought out. The venue alone is breath taking, but adding Candice's décor designs just sends it over the top. I wanted to get married outside by the pond, and of course it rained on my wedding day. The staff was so on point, they had my back up plan to move it inside ready to go in minutes. (and it was just as beautiful) 10/10 recommend getting married here! There's no other place that has all the amenities Rocky's have and such an amazing staff!

Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic was super stressful at times and Candice always had my back and was willing to do anything she could to help me to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. The day of our wedding ran so smoothly, probably because everyone at Rocky's is so nice and accommodating. I think it makes a big difference when you can tell that people love what they do and that shows through every person I ever encountered at Rocky's! I have gotten so many compliments from guests who were blown away by how unique and beautiful our venue and reception was! We really wanted to have a wooden cross to use in the background of the ceremony and when we mentioned this to Courtney, she checked with the owner and they built one! That is just one example of the many ways she went above and beyond to exceed our expectations and to help Anna and Jacob have their dream wedding. All of this during a pandemic! They created a safe environment for our wedding and no one got sick! The day couldn’t have been more perfect and we are so thank for the RLE team! She is an absolute DREAM to work with! She truly does anything and everything in her power to make sure your day is everything you have dreamed of. She is extremely responsive and helpful with all aspects of your wedding. She is so knowledgeable, and has great relationships with other vendors which is so, so helpful. The great thing about RLE is that they already own all of the décor you could ever dream of, no matter what your style or theme is. This means no worrying about renting or buying décor (and having to figure out what to do with it all later), no worrying about DIY projects that don’t turn our right, and huge savings in the floral area because the florist can use RLE’s vases and other floral design elements! The bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous. It’s so comfortable to get ready in and it’s a beautiful backdrop for getting ready photos. Although I didn’t see the groom’s suite in person, my husband and his groomsman really loved it! RLE is a photographer’s dream. There are endless places to take photos, no matter what style you’re looking for. No matter what time of day it is, the natural lighting is so beautiful. At night, RLE has the whole venue perfectly illuminated. The gazebo is an amazing perk! We had s’mores there during our reception, which was a fun treat for kids and adults alike. The boathouse bar is the perfect place for a picture-perfect cocktail hour. It’s great to have a bar outside and inside the reception area, so no matter where in the venue your guests are, they can grab a drink quickly. RLE is constantly making improvements to their venue and the services they offer. If you’re thinking about how to make your dream wedding, I highly recommend starting with Rocky’s Lake Estate!

that the venue existed! Several friends came up to us and said that they wish they had known about it when they were getting married. The suites to get ready in were absolutely amazing! We loved that they had open houses where we could see the venue in action and get to meet the vendors. Everyone on their vendor list is top notch and will deliver an exceptional product! The only thing that could have been improved was communication. There were a few times were multiple emails had to be sent before receiving a response. The day of there were several details that weren't brought up during the meetings, and the details that were talked about during the meetings were forgotten. It was nothing too major, but it did add unneccesary stress.

ot have done this without Candice. Our guests LOVED the venue, and there's so much space for everyone to have a blast. If a little issue came up (like me inviting too many people) the Rocky's team always had a solution. They took the stress out of the planning, and they had the day of coordination down to perfection. They literally think of EVERYTHING so that you don't have to. Plus, you have the option to leave in a helicopter, and I can assure you, that will be the best wedding day surprise to your guests EVER. I wouldn't change a single thing about our special day at Rocky's!

ourtney Sheffield was so easy to work with and listening to all of my wish list and then made all of it come true and more. We had the most amazing day from starting in the suites early, being transported around the venue for pictures, hidden before the ceremony, and dancing the night away. The landscape was in pristine condition and looked beautiful for all my guests. I had multiple venues appointments booked, after seeing this place and falling in love I cancelled them all. Best. Decision. Ever. This was the first one I saw and I just knew it was the one. I cannot say enough and recommend this place times 100000. Thank you so much to Courtney and her team for constantly supporting us, keeping us on time, and allowing us to have the most special, stress-free night of our lives! CHEERS!

We didn’t know about RLE initially and were almost positive we were going to get married elsewhere.... until one night at dinner when a friend saw us out and congratulated us on our engagement and told us him and his wife got married at RLE and before we decide anything check it out because we will for sure change our minds! Wellll.... we did!!! Our wedding was so special because of RLE! Courtney and Candice are the most caring and hardworking duo you can get. Not to mention “The Rocky” of RLE shuttled me away to avoid guests arriving and head to the bridal suite and made sure I had a beverage and was completely comfortable before I walked down the aisle. They make sure everything looks beautiful, is special and that you have the best day! You don’t have to worry about anything on your special day. They have it planned so perfectly that all you need to do it enjoy your day! As far as the property at RLE... the pictures online are pretty but in my opinion don’t do it justice!!!! It’s even more spectacular in person! From the fountains to the Chandeliers to the rustic furniture, gorgeous bridal suite to get ready, nice grooms suite with a pool table, golf carts for you guest if needed, waterfall on the windows, flower wall, decorations, pretty lake with a gazebo, the lights that looks so beautiful at night, to a perfectly decorated arbor and aisle I don’t think it could get any better! So... if you are a bride and looking for a place that makes you feel at home and a princess bride at the same time, I challenge you before you book anywhere else to just stop by Rocky’s Lake Estate because I know you will fall in love... I did!

Candice quickly showed me that there was absolutely no need to worry, I was in great hands, and she was correct! Rocky also made sure that the helipad was ready right in time so that I could have my dream helicopter departure! I could go on and on about this venue. The staff and venue is beyond perfect!

I am a "perfectionist" and a "planner" so as you can imagine wedding planning was stressful for me, but Candice made sure to always ease the stress, offer advice, and help bring it altogether!! She is the EXPERT when it comes to planning a wedding. There were so many things I would have never thought of that she made sure to mention and take care of. The day of she was the "savior" of the day making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She even redecorated my cake when the baker dropped off a cake that looked nothing like what I had requested. In addition, what other venue provides all the decor for the wedding? So many people waste money on decor that they aren't ever going to use again. Rocky's provides it all. I highly recommend booking your wedding at Rocky's.

The price is good, you can pick your own vendors, they have pretty much every decoration you could need already there, and you can buy your own alcohol. Candace was very accommodating, and always gave her good advice and reminded her not to worry because she had it all under control:) Well, she was right! On wedding day, I was nervously trying to make sure everything was going as planned, to try and take some of the worry and stress off my daughter. I was in awe at just how organized everything was "behind the scenes", from working with the vendors to communicating with the entire wedding party. When we arrived, the grounds crew was working to put the final touches on the venue, and the RLE crew was busy putting out all the decorations and flowers, just as we had requested! Your every need is taken care of on wedding day- no matter what! My daughter had ordered her groom a gift to give him on wedding day, but it had been lost in the mail. After arranging with the post office to have it delivered to the venue on the day of the wedding, Candace and Elizabeth made sure to pick it up, wrap it, and hand-deliver the package to the groom!! That's the kind of service you get at Rocky's!! Even the sweet little guy on the golf cart was busy going back and forth to make sure everyone at the bride's and groom's suites had all they needed. The grounds at Rocky's are absolutely beautiful and well-kept. All of our guests were very complementary at not only how beautiful the venue was, but at how no detail had been overlooked. I am one happy momma, and my daughter is a very happy bride! Thank you Candace and RLE staff for helping to make sure this wedding was perfect!!

enue I visited and I was sold after meeting Candice, my wedding coordinator. She is a very busy person planning other weddings but she makes you feel like you are her only bride. Rockys is very affordable when it comes to their pricing for the venue. They also aren't like other venues that restrict you to only using their preferred vendors, even though I did use almost all of their preferred vendors. They were amazing as well (DJ: Spectrum Entertainment, Photographer: Southern Portrait and Video, Flowers: SomeTheme to Talk About, Hair: Hair by Brandy). I appreciated that Rockys also has an inventory of decor that you can pick from to make your big day unique to you at no extra cost. It was so nice not to have to worry about buying centerpiece decor for the tables and then figuring out what to do with it after the wedding was over. Many of guests at my wedding still tell me that the venue was the prettiest venue they had ever seen. I would highly recommend Rockys to any bride or groom!

we wanted to use Rocky's we came to sign our contract and I made the mistake of paying for services in full because I believed that there was no need to stretch out payments this being done meant that from here on out Rocky's would just ignore us it took me calling several times per day everyday for weeks on end before I would get any response back. We were told when we first looked at the venue that one of the things they're Coordinator would do for us would be putting a Pinterest board together that we would share ideas back and forth with to make sure that we had the perfect wedding this never happened because we no longer were important after they had my money. We were supposed to have for coordinating meetings we had to because they could never find the time to do anything however the first meeting that we had was nothing more than the owner's daughter going over the contract we had already signed and asking us to pay again for everything we had already paid for until she realized oh you've already signed your contract and paid everything then she just sent us away because she did not know what else to do. one of the highlights of our reception was supposed to be the live band that we had hired and we were guaranteed from day one having a live band would be no problem at Rocky's Lake estate however once the band started to play within the first five minutes the staff told them they could no longer play when I went to the coordinator and ask her why this was happening she told me she did not know and that even though there had been a noise complaint we were not violating any ordinances and a band could continue to play but every time they would try to another staff member would come over and turn them off to the point of when there was just the guitarist with his acoustic guitar singing it to his microphone while the rest of the band said they were done because they were tired of fighting with the staff a staff member came over and cut power to the building so the guitarist could no longer perform and so all of my guests were left sitting in the dark literally at this point my wife address this with the staff they proceeded to get rude with her and then they walked inside the main reception hall where we had had dinner and started to talk a bunch of s*** about her and our wedding not realizing they were doing this in front of her mother and family so I guess you could say it is a great place to have your wedding if you don't mind your wife being made fun of if you don't mind your wife's family being offended if you don't mind staff that we'll use profanity while talking about your wife if you don't mind your vendors coming to you later and telling you how it was a nightmare to work with Rocky's if you don't mind there being nothing at all done to compensate for your problems and if you don't mind there being no organization at all because the staff are too busy taking naps and going and doing their own thing instead of handling your wedding I wish I could say this was an exaggeration but it is not people say that the more stress you have leading up to the wedding the better the marriage but nobody talks about all the stress you will have because of the venue worst decision ever

area. Candice is number one when it comes to planning. I am so thankful that she was able to walk us through all our decisions. I was stress free on the day of which was great!!! If I had to do it all again I would totally go with RLE!!

the way, she made sure no detail was skipped over and I had the wedding Ive dreamt about since I was a little girl. The dream team doesn't even begin to discribe this close net family. Tina,Courtney,Candice,Elizabeth WOW!! Y'all are just amazing! Thank you so much for making our day so very special, people are still raving about how much fun they had and how beautiful everything was. For anyone looking for a venue, you don't need to look any further than this place. It's absolutely breathtaking and will blow any other venue out of the water.

- neither of the girls ever introduced themselves to us, so I do not know who was who. One was trying to handle an unhappy bride and was frazzled, the other just seemed "over it", as if it were an inconvenience for her to be there. Once our tour began, she was rushed, and rolled her eyes at me when I asked about duck poop being cleaned prior to having an event (Is this not a reasonable question?). They do have some cute set-ups around the grounds, but I will no longer consider Rocky's Lake Estate in my decision making because of the (lack) of customer service. Maybe they have more business than they need and aren't worried about people like me walking away here and there, but it just isn't a smart business model.

ights. Oh, the lights! They really put on a show in December since it gets dark early! What a delight! Rocky's Lake Estate is sure to make your wedding special and unforgettable!

ose to the vintage truck, and it allows guests to roam about the venue and enjoy it's beauty. There were so many decor options to choose from which allows variability from wedding to wedding. I used this venue for my wedding 10-01-16 and the staff was phenomenal! I can promise you if you choose this venue, there won't be a single photo taken that lacks a scenic background! All around perfect venue for your perfect day!!

I could've done without her! If you're looking for someone who will give you your dream wedding, Candice is the only way to go!

- we saw the vision that Rocky had in mind for this place!). Candice, the event coordinator, was so diligent in taking care of EVERY aspect of our wedding. Every time we met with her, she made us feel so relieved because she would just take care of all of our questions and needs. My husband and I met at Starbucks and the day of, she sent one of the staff members out to get us Starbucks cups just so we could have pictures with them that said "Bride" & "Groom". When we brought fake rose petals to throw, after not realizing that we couldn't use them (they're not biodegradable), her staff went out and got real ones for the ceremony. I am just in awe at how attentive she is, and making sure that everything was running smoothly all the way up until we exited. In addition, the venue is GORGEOUS. Our guests had nothing but the greatest compliments to give. There was plenty of space to entertain and for people to find a comfort zone doing something they loved (even if it wasn't dancing)! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this venue and I can't think of enough great things to say. Any couple would be LUCKY to have this place and their staff on their wedding day!

area, we chose Rocky's because of the beauty and services that were included which were setup, teardown, cleaning, coordination, and more. The wedding day went very smooth and despite changing weather conditions the staff was very quick to adapt to our needs the day of. We can recommend this venue very highly!
