other venue that provides as much as they do and as a wedding planner myself, it’s nice to see that venues like this still exist. My wedding was Friday September 27th and that was the week Hurricane Helene decided to make her appearance. Of course, all week I was freaking out about the weather, but Makayla assured me we wouldn’t have to make a rain call until a few hours before the ceremony. While the inside ceremony option was still gorgeous, I of course always pictured my ceremony outside. Thankfully the hurricane passed and it stopped raining at 11am on Friday, so we were able to have our ceremony and cocktail hour outside. It was just absolutely gorgeous. We could not have had such a magical day had it not been for Makayla and her team. Thank you all times a million !

Book your appt, take a tour, pick a date, pay, make notes, vision boards, and then it's off to the next future client. My daughters wedding this past weekend was so unorganized and chaotic because of the coordinators. They have zero communication skills. This in turn cost us a lot of valuable time with photographers. They did not go by the schedule. I had to ask who Candice was when she got in the van with my daughter enroute to the ceremony. No introduction, yet here she was, THE DIRECTOR moments away from directing my daughter's magical day. I had to force and initiate that conversation. She is seen in one of our video footage acting a fool towards our seated guests from a distance, trying to get them to rise. She was literally standing there flapping her arms in such an embarrassing manner. If she were at rehearsal, she would've known the Officiant was making an announcement instead of being so incredibly unprofessional. Candice also should have fluffed my daughter's dress at the arch. That too was discussed at rehearsal but again she wasn't present, nor did she follow instruction. I could go on and on about what she DIDN'T do, as she was only seen TWICE the entire night, with one of those times being when she was called out for eating in the bar/kitchen area when she should have been concerned about being behind in schedule and moving forward. Rocky's offers a shuttle van AND a golf cart to transport Bridal and Groom parties on the grounds for photos. Not once did they use both modes, which in turn also put us way behind with our schedules because they repeatedly had to make multiple trips due to our large wedding party of 9 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen. That, and the fact they were 20 min late, ultimately cost us valuable time with our paid photographer and videographer and prevented my daughter from getting a lot of the photo shots she had envisioned. The bridal suite was beautiful but was not clean upon our arrival. There were cobwebs in the corners, rat feces in the kitchen drawer, and it was stocked with a half roll of toilet tissue, no extra garbage bags, just a few paper towels. The website shows a "team" of coordinators. Our coordinator Makayla, who assisted us from the beginning, was on the schedule for rehearsal. We zoomed through 2 runs of practice with minimal details on her end, so she could be present at the table during the same time for her "next" appt. She did not honor the vision board she had set forth with my daughter and changed things at the last minute on wedding day without telling us. Also on wedding day, they were doing tours as they were preparing for my daughter's wedding. IT IS NOT OKAY TO MISHANDLE AND NOT FOCUS on my daughter's wedding day to book your future clients. If you have a "team" of coordinators, then call them in and let them provide tours and not take the ones we hired for OUR DAY! I will always believe that distraction took away from the details they should've been focused on. While the day certainly didn't go as planned, we won't let that dictate the wonderful memories of my daughter's marriage to her best friend. I would strongly suggest that if you book at Rocky's, please bring your own coordinator or "babysitter" to make sure that the incompetent staff does what they contracted to you they were going to do.

On the day of our wedding there were multiple staff members making sure we had everything we needed and stayed on schedule - Mitchell, Korleigh, and Jose are amazing! Rocky's was the first and only venue we looked at because we were immediately sold on the versatility of their spaces. There are a range of options if you are worried about weather conditions or are going for a certain vibe. Our entire experience felt very personalized and the day truly went off without any issues. Our guests were beyond impressed with everything and continually complimented how beautiful the venue was (it SHINES at night!). Rocky's and the entire staff exceeded our expectations. It's the perfect choice for anyone seeking a versatile, stunning, and unforgettable wedding venue. Thank you, Rocky and team, for making our special day truly exceptional!

On the day of the wedding they assigned assistants to the men and the women of the wedding party to take care of every need up to the wedding. The bridal suite and man cave was so comfortable and fun. They kept us running on time and the option for the helicopter as the exit vehicle was so unique. The Woodstock location of Rocky’s makes it so convenient for out of town guests to stay close. I recommend this location for anyone’s special day. I loved every single part of our day, everything was handled for us and was so effortless

used to come down from the cloud that this team and venue left us on. It was a bit of a challenge to get someone on the phone at first. I was so close to giving up on this venue as an option, but I couldn’t get it out of my mind. We knew it was the one just from the photos online. Once the phone was answered it was destiny and complete magic from there on out. This is the ABSOLUTE dream venue. The location, the privacy, the staff, the venue in itself was everything we dreamed of and more. There was not a person that assisted us throughout the process and on the day of the wedding that failed to meet our expectations. I was almost in tears on my wedding day because I left my special order garter at home, just under an hour away from the venue. But one of the RLE coordinators sent someone to purchase one at a nearby store just in time for that portion of the reception! I was blown away! If you are considering RLE, do yourself a favor and end your search NOW! It gets no better than this venue, the ambiance, and the staff! If my husband and I could do it all over again we’d choose RLE again and again! Thank you to the team that made our dreams a reality. We walked away with zero regrets or complaints. #SingleTONSofLove

st decision my sister could have made. Our coordinator Makayla was absolutely amazing from the day we met her. She answered every question that we had, and even questions we didn’t know to ask. There were so many detail options that they provided in terms of setup and decor, not to mention the site is absolutely beautiful. My sister had a fairytale wedding much too the credit of Rocky’s. Booking them was absolutely worth it.

y area gorgeous, but the venue is surrounded by nature and a lake which makes everything feel very peaceful. We wanted an outdoor/indoor venue for flexibility (in case of weather) and Rocky's fit the bill perfectly. Our guests loved it and have continued to rave by how great this venue was. The layout of the venue worked perfectly for our needs -- it allowed our guests the flexibility to spread out across the huge outdoor areas and the various indoor locations --- which was nice for those worried about Covid. Others enjoyed the variety in the space so they could dance one minute and then have a relaxing drink outside to cool off the next. There is also a cabana of sorts with a firepit where several people spent time throughout the evening. Though there were some communication delays at first, the staff we interacted with were very nice and professional. Makayla took the time to help me ideate on decor ideas, walking me through their extensive resource room on several occasions. She was also able to make quick last minute edits as our guest numbers changed. From Makayla to Jose, we had a great experience and found everyone to be very helpful and accommodating. All in all, we and our guests had a wonderful time at Rocky's and if we had to go back we would 200% book there again!

he venue, the staff, the planning support, and how all of the above came together to provide an event that was beyond anything we could have asked for. Candice provided exceptional support during the planning process, consistently surprising us by what she and RLE would do to support the event. The venue itself is stunning during the day and even more so at night. The outdoor space provides tremendous flexibility and space to offer a variety of experiences for guests, which worked out wonderfully for our at-capacity crowd. We elected to use RLE preferred vendors for catering and photography, and we’re thrilled with those results as well. Our guests cannot say enough about the event, and we truly cannot imagine how our daughter’s wedding could have been more perfect. We are forever indebted to Candice and RLE for providing a wedding for our daughter that was all we could have asked for.

tour of the venue, I was in awe of how beautiful this venue is year round. All the decor is included, and it is beautiful. The best thing at Rocky's though is the staff. Candice was our wedding coordinator and was a calming support throughout the entire process, she allowed me to change my mind and move my entire wedding outdoors while it was snowing right before our ceremony because she knew it was what I wanted. They made me feel like a princess the day of as well. The bridal suites were the perfect place to get ready and relax before walking down the aisle. Leading up to the wedding, the whole coordinating team was the biggest support. About 2 weeks before the wedding, I had a freak out moment and changed my mind about the decor completely and Makayla was an angel staying late with me to figure it all out. Most importantly, because we did get married on the "snow day" we were so grateful that Rocky's rallied to make sure our wedding day still happened. Rocky's was the perfect wedding venue and all of our guests agreed it was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen.

bout anything you ask. It’s like the dream team on steroids. Lol Really, they are just that awesome!!! Then the venue…talk about a fun and gorgeous place to get married! The lake is stocked and its so much fun to watch the fish and wild life while standing on the bridge or sitting in a rocker on the large gazebo that hovers over the lake. Then they have a section where they have farm animals…the mini goats stole my heart. Ok, so those are not even the details that make it a great place to get married they are just icing on top. When you pull up at the entrance…the gorgeous iron gate opens up to a gorgeous scenery that you will not be able to keep yourself from saying, OH WOW this is gorgeous! I guarantee it. Don’t take my word for it. Go see for yourself and you’ll see what I’m talking about!!! Then the grounds…they are immaculate and no matter what time of year it is, it looks great! They have a gorgeous ceremony arbor and a beautiful covered area that you can get married in a still have a beautiful ceremony looking out onto the lake. Now, the the unbelievable part… they have a whole storehouse of linens, decor, centerpieces, to decorate your wedding THAT THEY DON’T CHARGE YOU EXTRA TO USE AND THEY DO THE SETUP!!! Unheard of!!! That saves so much money on decor and rentals! And their price was the same as many venues that only rent the space. The arbor provides the most beautiful setting for the ceremony. Ohhhh and at night the whole place becomes a wonderland with twinkling lights and the colored fountain out on the water and if you want something unexpected they have a helicopter pad submerged underwater that comes up out of the water like a scene from 007 or something for an amazing getaway… or maybe even if someone wanted to make a grand entrance that’d be cool too! All in all, you be glad you chose this venue for your wedding! To say I highly recommend is and understatement. Do yourself a favor…get married there! Thank you RLE for always putting me at ease and answering all my questions being excellent and more than generous in the services you provide!

The planning -- My husband and I live in New York and planned our entire wedding from afar. Most people we spoke to thought that this would be extremely stressful for us given that we didn't have easy access to the venue or vendors that we ultimately hired. But Courtney and her team made themselves fully available to us whenever we needed over the year of planning. All of our phone calls, emails, and texts were quickly answered. In addition, she gave us amazing recommendations for vendors we should use. These vendors are experienced in working with Rocky's, which meant even less work for us to coordinate. The whole process made wedding planning a joy for us! ADDED BONUS #1: Rocky's has amazing decor available at no additional cost. We ended up incorporating so many of the props and flowers into our ceremony and reception layouts, turning the venue into what we envisioned and making it perfect. ADDED BONUS #2: Rocky's has a gorgeous indoor back up space in case it rains. Luckily, we had beautiful weather on the day but this is definitely a concern for any couple planning an outdoor wedding and knowing we had a perfect indoor spot as a back up definitely took a lot of stress away leading up to the day. The day of -- As expected, I was nervous. So was my husband. And if it wasn't for Rocky's (Courtney and her team), I'm sure we wouldn't have been able to pull off such an amazing wedding. Courtney was there at all times making sure everything went smoothly. It ended up being a beautiful day that we will remember forever! We can't recommend this venue enough!

I hate that our wedding is over solely because I will miss getting to see and talk to them so regularly! A few things I want to make sure to highlight that would make you want to book them: 1. Candice. She’s been with Rocky’s since the beginning and is the absolute best resource possible! She helped answer endless questions and sent us links to all kinds of helpful planning tools and wedding sites. She kept things moving so well on wedding day too and she’s truly just a gift to be able to have help you. 2. Rain plan. Everybody’s always a little nervous for rain on their wedding day when you initially plan an outdoor ceremony and on my wedding day it rained all the way up until about an hour and 20 minutes before ceremony time. Rocky’s is amazing in that they have gorgeous options for outdoor or indoor so I wasn’t too nervous either way but ideally wanted things outside. They set up both options, inside and outside, just to be safe but trusted me when I said I wanted it outside and went into motion and it ended up being perfect! But all day they were so great about the rain and prepping and it was so nice to not have any stress about that. 3. Their whole package truly cannot be beat. We looked at countless venues and the fact that Rocky’s has all these different decor options on-hand to choose from just made the entire process so simple and nice. Thrilled to be able to say there’s not a single thing we would’ve changed! We had the best day every and Rocky’s will forever be the most special place to both of us! It’s the perfect place for a wedding and I’m absolutely going to recommend them to everyone!

I thought I would have a stroke before the big day ever arrived, but Candice assured me regularly that it would all be fine and that my daughter would have her dream day. The day before the wedding we had hiccups with one of the vendors, but behind the scenes (without the bride even knowing) Candice helped me with the vendor and put in extra time and effort to make things perfect. As I lay in bed unable to sleep the night before the wedding, Candice sent me a text promising that my daughters wedding would be everything she dreamed of...it was even MORE. The venue and staff were amazing. Candice went so far and above to make sure every detail was covered to perfection. I can not imagine a more perfect event. Rocky, his venue and staff will always have a special place in my heart for providing such a magnificent day for my girl and her husband.

She helped me coordinate what would look good where and gave me so many ideas I would have never thought of on my own. (I even changed my wedding colors because of her suggestion, which was the best decision ever) I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding! It was everything and so much more! Every detail was so thought out. The venue alone is breath taking, but adding Candice's décor designs just sends it over the top. I wanted to get married outside by the pond, and of course it rained on my wedding day. The staff was so on point, they had my back up plan to move it inside ready to go in minutes. (and it was just as beautiful) 10/10 recommend getting married here! There's no other place that has all the amenities Rocky's have and such an amazing staff!

Our coordinator was Candice Rich and all I can say is that she is simply the best there is! She was so helpful throughout the whole process. Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic was super stressful at times and Candice always had my back and was willing to do anything she could to help me to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. The day of our wedding ran so smoothly, probably because everyone at Rocky's is so nice and accommodating. I think it makes a big difference when you can tell that people love what they do and that shows through every person I ever encountered at Rocky's! I have gotten so many compliments from guests who were blown away by how unique and beautiful our venue and reception was! I truly would not change one thing about our wedding and would recommend Rocky's Lake Estate to every couple looking for a wedding venue!

That is just one example of the many ways she went above and beyond to exceed our expectations and to help Anna and Jacob have their dream wedding. All of this during a pandemic! They created a safe environment for our wedding and no one got sick! The day couldn’t have been more perfect and we are so thank for the RLE team!
