Put simply: Roey is the best photographer working in NYC right now. He's the only photographer I even considered -- I've been a fan of his for some time -- since his photos have the perfect balance of authenticity and artistic sensibility. His eye captures moments unlike any other wedding photographer - and his background in photojournalism makes him the perfect live event photographer -- where his photos richly tell so many stories. I got engaged in December 2016 - and married in August 2018 - and Roey was the only photographer we met with and the first vendor I booked. At our first meeting, Roey's enthusiasm for what he does, his charm, and his passion all came through - he immediately made us feel at ease. His energy on our wedding day was exactly what we needed - laid back, yet making sure we captured every moment. He was game to try any shot - and his calmness was the perfect antidote to a bride's potential anxiety. We look at the photos now and smile and cry - they are, simply, phenomenal. If I were to do it all again, I'd hire Roey in a heartbeat. I can't wait to have another event where I get to work with him. He is, frankly, the absolute best.

We worked with Dan Tomei for our wedding and had an incredible experience. He was friendly and relaxed throughout the whole event. More importantly, he captured every single moment beautifully. He scoped out the most breathtaking backdrops for our various posed shots. And we are absolutely in love with the candid shots he managed to capture.

When I first began wedding planning , I narrowed down our possible dates for a Spring 2018 wedding by when Roey was available. My family and friends didn't quite understand why I did this in the beginning, but considering my background in event planning, they trusted my knowledge of Roey and his talents. Throughout the wedding planning process, Roey proved me to be absolutely correct and I can't tell you how many times I heard "now I get it." I couldn't have been any happier with Roey and his team. He is kind, fun, efficient and INSANELY talented. Our photos and videos are things we will treasure for the rest of our lives. He truly captured the happiness, love and excitement we felt during our engagement session and wedding day and we are so lucky to have had the chance to work with him.

For an entire day, time stopped, our love felt like it was floating on a bright white cloud, we laughed, we cried, we danced, we ate, (BOY DID WE EAT- Thank you Dan Barber of Blue Hill @ Stone Barns!)- A journey through us with all of you- the ones we love the most. To the single greatest day of our lives , Roey & his team captured every single beautiful, precious moment so we can re-live this day for the rest of our lives together. Not only was he fun, made us , our families and guests feel so comfortable and at ease- his captures were in the right light, at the right time of the most beautiful people & moments to us. I would recommend Roey & his team to the world. I look at our photos every single day (no exaggeration) with such joy, comfort and so much love in my heart. Roey, your passion, love, care & overall big heart & spirit show in each photo. Roey was an absolute pleasure to work with! My husband and I loved getting know him throughout our wedding process. His charm is unparalleled and we immediately felt comfortable with him. He certainly went above and beyond in making sure every special moment was captured during the entirety of our wedding weekend. His professional and calm demeanor helped to ease nerves on the day of, and while our original vision was to take photos outdoors, Mother Nature had other plans, and he quickly diverted the photoshoot indoors with ease and had already scoped out the perfect spots, that are now some of our favorite wedding photos displayed in our apartment. 2 months later, we still find ourselves still smiling looking through all of the sensational photos to reminisce. We cannot thank him enough for the happiness he continues to bring us and our families. No one we'd rather have spent our special day with!

I highly recommend Roey, he was an absolute pleasure to work with and a true professional. He has a remarkable eye and ability to capture the moment in the most natural and beautiful way. He carefully absorbed what we wanted and was able to translate that feeling in his photography, we could not have asked for anything more. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the best! We will be using him for all events we do moving forward.

Roey was a pleasure to deal with before during and after the wedding. He sent us a highlight real a few weeks after the wedding as promised and we are now waiting for the rest of the pictures. It was so fun hanging out with him on the wedding day and was really a great addition. The pictures we have seen so far and really amazing. Would strongly recommend

Roey and his assistant(s) were a dream to work with! Roey's "eye" is on point! His ideas of photography are that of a passionate artist, not just a guy with a fancy camera. I am so confident in recommending him to any future bride and groom.
