a phone call with Roland to organize the different kinds of shots we wanted to do. On the wedding day Roland came prepared and ready. He whisked off the details bin and did detail photos while we were finishing our makeup. Before the ceremony he did a great job of moving around to capture all of the special moments, first look with my dad and I, my mom putting on my veil, my husband and hid dad together, etc... After the ceremony Roland helped us find great spots around Kenosha to take photos. It was a very stressless process that he made feel exciting and fun. He took shots of me and my husband that I am going to cherish forever. nt. Long story short, we originally planned for our wedding to take place in 2021 but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to reschedule for the following year. We were able to reschedule the venue and photography for our next date and everything planned out perfectly. From our engagement shoot during COVID which was planned out carefully for the sake of everyones health thru the wedding ceremony and reception, Roland had set plans for us to let us enjoy our special day and not worry about anything else. The finished product of our wedding gallery and album left us speechless! I mean the album itself is something to cherish for the rest of our lives, the pictures turned out beautiful (smiling while turning every page) and the quality is just out of this world. However, Roland and Jane kept calm the whole time and helped guide us through the night and ended up being voices of reason and leadership. They were amazing! 2 hours before we were seen by the judge to start taking photos. He captured amazing memories of my husband and I, as well as, our family at the harbor near the courthouse afterwards. He paid no mind to the dirty sand we walked on near the water and even laid down on the sand to make sure he captured the best angle of every picture! And besides the great photos, he was also very kind and patient with the different photo combinations we had to take with each family member haha. I communicated with Roland what I was looking for. Unlike other events, I did not want to work my daughters event. So I hired vendors I trusted and I knew we were in great hands with Roland. ut I still wanted to check out his pictures. I was impressed with not only the photography quality but the poses and moments he captured. His images capture not just moments but emotions. You can feel what the subjects must be feeling just by looking at his photos. Even the ambiance of the weddings and events show through his lens. I’ve come across a lot of photographers whose images look nice but the poses and the subjects of the photos are not in the best positions or the focal points. Roland’s work showed his creativity, ability to capture moments at the right time and select the best poses for his subjects. During my initial call with Roland it was clear he truly loves his craft and wants to ensure he captures the moments and details important to his clients. Communicative, prompt with his responses, thorough and kind, Roland was an ideal vendor. He really listens to the needs of his clients. He asked what was significant from the event and what details we would like to look back to and have captured. He set clear expectations and did not leave any room for misunderstanding or assumptions, which I greatly appreciated. Roland arrived early to the event fully prepared and ready to go. I was impressed with his vision. He has an eye for capturing beauty in every shot. Despite the hotel staff being in and out of the event room he was able to capture full room pictures and details of the tables without anyone in the background. He was professional and focused on the task at hand ensuring that he didn’t miss any key moments. When I received the pictures, I was blown away. He captured the décor and details in a well polished way that I was not expecting. He had captured the event in such a way that the photos told a story. Looking back on the photos feels as though you are reliving that day. I would love to work with Roland again!

I was most worried about the timeline the day of which Roland had thoroughly planned out. If Roland is anything, he is a perfectionist as he was determined to get the best angle/light possible for a perfect photo. We received many compliments on his determination from all of our guests. Wonderful couple and so easy to work with, could not begin to recommend them enough. Jane worked with Roland effortlessly, she new exactly what he might adjust before he asked and she was so much fun during the girls only shooting pre-ceremony.

The quality and style of his images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers. You could feel the happiness and joy through each photo. He was understanding and supportive throughout this frustrating time period. As our wedding date was approaching, we appreciated his check ins and cited wedding prep resources. He was quick on answering my questions and provided valuable insights. We chatted again a week before to align on timeline, special events and overall expectations. Rescheduling our wedding twice due to Covid was a stressful experience (to say the least) but Roland made sure that photography was not one of the elements we had to be concerned about. During the engagement photo session we were very happy with our choice to pick Roland. He listened to us, but also knew when to step in to offer his expertise. The turnaround on images was super fast and the quantity / quality was more than we could have asked for. He helped us prepare throughout the remaining months leading up to the wedding and handled all of our questions with patience and ease. The day of consisted of him and his wife splitting up and taking pictures and he followed the schedule we aligned on. Again, he allowed us to be free with the photographs, but also offered his expertise, especially with bigger groups. Then the turnaround on wedding photos was faster than we expected, especially from hearing some horror stories from friends. And we have been very happy with the photos and the wedding album that he helped us put together, which was a part of the package, not a super expensive add-on. Thank you Roland!

was very easy, meeting with him and sharing expectations even easier. RG was the first photographer we met with in person during our short lived hunt. Deciding to go with him after just this instance shows how special our connection was. The biggest caveat with our wedding is that we need his services within a small window, by wedding standards. Our wedding was pushed up eight months due to the venue closing. Thankfully, his was available. The whole process of inquiring, meeting, signing, and planning was very kinetic in the best way possible. Being an amateur photographer myself, I had expectations that were very important. I was candid with RG about this and he obliged with no hesitation and the most open mind. He also had didn't mind geeking out with me, greatly appreciated! Our first meeting consisted of RG sharing his best work and the beats of a typical day - this was key! After, we had to provide a non-refundable retainer that was half of the total cost. This needed to be done in order to sign the contract and officially start planning. The planning process was fun as it consisted of my wife and I selecting shots for RG that contributed to our vision. Also, a questionnaire helped provide RG and his wife Jane (2nd camera) direction for the day of. This included locations, prep schedule, transportation, and people/poses of interest. On the wedding day, R&J were right on time, if not, a little early. The availability of our bridal party changed that morning, but R&J were able to roll with the changes and still work efficiently. Throughout the day, we didn't give much thought to R&J because we trusted that they would be everywhere we went, and they were. When it came time to group or poses shots, they were very precise and friendly, key great qualities to have on an action packed day like this. They complimented each other perfectly and JG was especially helpful and knowledgeable in coordinating the bride's outfit and placing the bridal party. Chicago traffic and an unexpected blizzard forced the wedding party to arrive late to the reception - R&J were extremely understanding. They worked hard to get beautiful shots in the limited time available and their thoughtfulness was very much appreciated. The day after our wedding we received a quick email containing preview shots, which surpassed our expectations. We couldn't wait to see the end result a month later. The final viewing was at RG's home studio. There we reminisced about the day, caught up on life, and viewed the photos. He was nice enough to provide personalized gifts that included with his work. While we caught up, we learned there was a recent loss in his family that we could closely relate to. The fact that he maintained communication and held to his delivery date for the photos reflects the highest level of professionalism you can find. Looking back at the photos, we love how much of our personalities R&J captured with candid shots. These were very important to us. We are beyond satisfied at R&J's work. Working with Roland and his wife was one of the best decisions we've made as a couple. It was one of the easiest choices we made during our wedding planning process. Looking back on the special day brings smiles to our faces, but bigger ones when we think of working with Roland and Jane.
