Roland's Swiss Pastry & Bakery

I definitely recommend Roland's Swiss Bakery to anyone looking for a wedding cake on a strict budget. When wedding planning, I was not excited about spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on a cake. I had a small wedding and Gerhard at Roland's made a beautiful cake that was exactly what I asked for. I had a basic white on white cake with some strawberries mixed into the cream inside. It was delicious and my guests kept telling me how much they loved it!

my only suggestion is not to go with the buttercream icing - it tastes like crisco. the cake itself is heavenly and they have many options of fillings like strawberries, nuts, even mandarin oranges. very professional service and lovely decorating!! they were very flexible and generous with taste testing.

This vendor was highly recommended to us by a friends. Though their primary business is not wedding cakes, they do make wedding cakes, and they are delicious! Gerhard, the owner, asked us what kind of flavors we liked, and instead of giving us little bite samples of different kinds, we told him icings, flavors (fresh strawberry, raspberry, chocolate, etc.) and he made us 4 different 3-layer cakes to pick up and take home and eat with our family!! Free of charge! Taste was my priority (over looks) and the cakes were absolutely delicious- especially the chocolate with chocolate shavings and raspberry. His prices are also the best you will find and he is very personable and fun to work with. The cakes also looked nice on the wedding day, and he worked from a very small picture I gave him.
