Romanoff's Classic Tuxedo

Romanoff’s was fantastic! They were professional and courteous. All the suits fit great and looked amazing. The price was right too! Picking up and dropping off of suits was a breeze.

Aaron was the absolutely best at making sure all my guys and most importantly, me, look so good for my wedding. His professionalism, warm personality and expertise made the whole thing so seamless and at incredible value to the groom. Highly recommend.

Aaron was very helpful and obviously experienced. He made recommendations based on our color scheme and my dress, and was very efficient during the fittings for all the groomsmen and fathers.

The first time my fiancé and I walked into the store, it took a matter of 5 minutes for the gentleman to help us and get everything picked out (for the groom, groomsmen, AND fathers of the bride and groom). Very adorable and everything was ready exactly when we were told it would be. We found out about Romanoffs during a bridal show, so we recieved a special deal where my now husband paid a fraction of the normal cost AND got to keep his entire suit free of charge!

The knot won't let me write out everything I want to say, so I will just bullet point all the issues I ran into: My white dress shirt had a stain on it, and the replacement shirt also had a stain on it. My groomsmen's ties were folded into plastic bags and had two creases in them that had to be carefully ironed out, the day before my wedding. Why should I have to do that? All of our brown shoes had black and grey scuff marks all over them. One of my groomsmen's buttons fell off as we were getting ready. One of my groomsmen's shirts didn't have buttons on the sleeves so we were forced to wear the cuff links they gave us. Had no option to pick the cuff links either. The cuff links were ugly, in my opinion. There was no discussion of cuff links until I picked up the suits, and no warning that cuff links might be necessary because some shirts might not have buttons (why wouldn't some shirts have buttons in the first place?) Also, I am not sure how other suit places operate, but the process we went through went like this. We all got fitted for our suits in March (at the downtown location-now closed, who was run by a different guy than the Dublin location). When I say fitted, I mean the guy measured our arms, legs, and waist and we were done in 15 minutes. I picked the colors, shoes, materials, etc, and we were on our way. But here's the thing, I never tried anything on. They told me the suits would be ready 2 days before the wedding. So 2 days before my wedding, without ever having tried anything on, all 5 suits would supposedly be ready to go? And if we needed alterations (which most of us did), we were supposed to come back later in the day so that they could fix them? What if, hypothetically, you have a wedding you need to get ready for and waiting for suit alterations, and having to go back and pick them up later is not something you have time for? Luckily, myself and most of my groomsmen went in a week or a few days early to get them fitted. Now, to be fair, myself and two of my groomsmen had lost some weight since March, so I knew my suit wouldn't really fit, but I imagine that people wanting to lose weight before they get married is a fairly common occurrence. In my opinion, it would make more sense to get measured, then go in maybe a month or so before the wedding and get fitted for the suit, then pick them up more than 2 days out, in case more alterations needed to be done. No refund or discount was offered when these issues were brought up when I returned the suits. Only an apology. If you want to have a stress free suit experience for your wedding, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Romanoff's did a great job with tuxedos for our wedding. Everything turned out perfectly and I would definitely recommend!

Romanoff is a wonderful place to get suits for a wedding! if you meet him at a bridal show he will give you great coupons to use. he is easy to work with and gives great suggestions and is very laid back.

I went to the Westerville location (not the Dublin one as listed) and had a great experience with both women that work here. The vested suits were just what we wanted, they all fit great and I think all but one groomsmen decided to keep his suit after the wedding. In my opinion, you can't ask for a better price, especially with the grooms suit being free! The only downside is the options for brown rental shoes aren't the most stylish or comfortable but they got the job done!

Aaron was very helpful and prompt. When we first met Aaron, we were unsure of the style and color we wanted. We brought Aaron our ideas and he helped piece together suite's for the groom and his groomsmen. The suites were great quality. The color was just perfect; it paired well with the bridesmaid dresses. We would definitely use Aaron's help again for another occasion.

Aaron at Romanoff's was very friendly and easy to work with. However, we were not very happy with the quality of the suites and the service we got seemed rushed and a little unorganized. The groom's suite was the most disappointing with a fly breaking just before the wedding ceremony and two missing buttons on the vest. Luckily we had some pins to fix the fly before the wedding and our photographer is a pro and fixed the pics of him in the vest. I wish I could give Romanoff's a better rating but for the price we paid, I expected better quality.

Absolutely horrible. SEVERAL groomsmen had their shoes literally fall apart during the reception (at dinner!). Some of the shoes split seams in the front and one groomsmen lost BOTH of his soles within a few minutes of each other. Despite the fact he had to go entire reception WITHOUT shoes, the company would not refund his purchase. DO NOT go with this company if you want to get your $150 dollars worth and if you expect to wear shoes the whole day.

We went with vested suits. They turned out great and most of my groomsman decided to purchase them. They are a good price and the owner/ tailor was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Romanoff's did a fantastic job on our suits, even when we had a few complications. We had a suit picked out for our wedding party, but they were out of stock on one of the sizes for our groomsmen. They did everything they could to try to find a way to make it work, but when it was obvious they could not find a solution, they gave us plenty of time to come in a pick an almost identical suit. Once the suits came in the week of the wedding, 3 out of the 6 suits were very unflattering and baggy, including on the groom. They worked past close to make sure all the pins were in place and guaranteed they would fit. Sure enough, the next day the suits fit perfectly. They are a very personal staff and will do everything they can to make sure the guys look good and feel comfortable, and the groom walks away with a new suit for free. Overall, an amazing experience and they were great to work with.

I have mixed feelings about dealing with Romanoffs. First off, they had really great prices on their suits and we loved the option to rent or buy. This allows groomsmen to keep the suits if they would like, or just rent them if they don't want to spend the extra money. The suits were also of pretty good quality, especially for the price. On the other hand, the ring bearer's and one groomsman's suits were not tailored properly and they did not fit well. The owner fixed the groomsman's the day of, but claimed the ring bearer suit was done correctly even though the pants were not hemmed. Also, we were let to believe that the ring bearer would have a matching suit, but two weeks before hand, we found out that the small sized suits did not come in the same color so he had a different color gray. All in all, I felt like Romanoff's was a very good value and quality, it just seems that some things may get overlooked.

Aaron is so nice but I think he is very overwhelmed! Everything went great until the day of the wedding! None of the groomsman's tux's fit...they couldn't even move to dance (and the one that did ripped his). My ring bears pants were up past his ankles. He was in tears and did not want to to walk down the aisle. The shoes were supposed to be brown but came in black and we intentionally did not order boutonnieres for the men because Aaron suggested pocket squares (which were not with the tux's). Again I think Aaron with Romanoffs is very nice and personable but not sure what happened when it came time for our big day?I think they need to hire more help as he is continuing to grow in his business.

Romanoff's Classic Tuxedo helped complete my dream! My husband looked amazing! When I started to come down the aisle, it was like there were no other guests in the room. Just me and my man. Aaron at Romanoff's Classic Tuxedo is one of the most professional, talented people I have had the pleasure of doing business with!! Every time I rent or purchase a suit or Tuxedo, I really like the way I look. I have recommended several friends and they have all shared the same experience. Aaron is always up with the latest styles and always offers to show me how other groups have paired their look for their wedding. I wore black and white Chuck Taylor's with my tux and Aaron was very helpful in making sure my tux matched my fun shoe choice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!

My husband didn't like another tuxedo place we tried. He felt that they were too pushy and only wanted the sale. From the minute we stepped inside Romanoff's we knew we had the perfect place. The groom's tie and waistcoat perfectly matched the colours in my dress and the groomsmen and my "dude" of honour looked great with the bridesmaids. Definitely recommend them to all future grooms and groomsmen out there.

We worked with the owner at the Dublin location and were so impressed!! He was knowledgable, friendly, and great to work with. We originally went to Men's Warehouse at Easton and got ahold of a young guy who clearly didn't care if he got our business. He was so indifferent towards us and the product. We went to Romanoffs next and what a difference! We got married downtown so worked with the downtown location. They were great...even picked up the tuxes from the hotel so the guy didn't have to return them. Think we got 10tuxes in total and not a single issue!

We had a great experience with Romanoff's. The owner was knowledgable, accommodating, and friendly. They have tuxedos in a variety of styles available to try on at the store. We didn't find other stores had that. The tuxedos are kept locally and they do alterations at the store. We would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the Columbus area!

My husband and his groomsmen were very pleased with Romanoff's for the suit rental for our wedding last weekend. Aaron was very attentive to their needs, and made sure that their suits were tailored to each of their likings. They have a rental option where you can decide to buy the suit as well, for just a little bit more. If a certain amount of guys rent (suits or tuxes) the groom gets a free rental as well, so definitely ask about this! We are pretty sure that all 5 of them are buying the suits as well, after seeing how nice they were! Definitely money well spent, and great service!

Got a great deal and a free suit!

Aaron was very friendly and easy to work with. However, there were multiple issues that I had considering the grooms suits. Starting with the groom his pants were a little long and looked sloppy in pictures. The farther of the bride's jacket was a little large and once again the pants were too long. The best man had to hold up his pants while walking down the aisle by the belt loop. Another groomsmen could barley breathe in his vest. Lastly, one groomsman is on the larger size. When I went in we clarified that he would be able to fit him for the wedding. One and half days before the wedding I was told that that they could not find the darker tan in his size so he was a lighter tan and mismatched the rest of the groomsmen. ( I would have chosen the lighter tan if I knew ahead of time).He also had one shoe that was a 12 when he takes a size 14. Overall this was the worst experience I had for my wedding. Everything else went smooth but if I had to do it again I would look for another place to get the suits

My husband and his groomsmen used Romanoff's, we visited three or four places with my father before deciding on this one. My father is very picky when it comes to suits and tuxes. He just retired but wore a suit everyday to work and always looked sharp. When we went to a few of the other stores in town, my father waited patiently for a few minutes, and then walked out because of either the service he was observing or the quality of the clothing. He raved about his impression from Romanoff's. The staff are very knowledgeable and very helpful in guiding you to pick the style, color, whatever you are unsure of. The stock is kept all in house so you can try on almost anything if you just walk in the door. They also do all of their alterations on site, so if anything isn't right they can fix it right away. This was a major selling point for us because our wedding was two days after the 4th of July. When do guys pick up their tuxes? Two days before. Many stores told us that we'd just have to wait until Friday and if there was something wrong they would overnight it to us. This wasn't okay, as the wedding was in the morning! So Romanoff's was perfect for us since that would not be an issue! We had one groomsmen tell us that he lost a ton of weight between when he called in his measurements and the wedding. He said that he called Romanoff's and they were great about talking over the changes and anything that would change in how the tux fit. We did have a few problems, but nothing major. My dad rented a shirt from them because he owns his tux. The shirt wasn't a great fit and I think he said there was a small stain. My brother-in-law, who can be very difficult to work with, really didn't like the way his tux fit and his personality must have clashed with the staff because he was really upset with Romanoff's. None of his complaints seemed to be anything that added up to anything real other than that he likes his tuxes to fit slightly different than the way this one did. He was so upset that my sister wrote a terrible review on yelp. My husband and I thought the review was overly harsh and inaccurate. Bottom line, even with a few small issues, my husband, his groomsmen, and his father had no problems, and were very impressed.

We went to the Westerville location. Great service and selection and my groom wanted a slim fit tux and they had that! My groom got his tux and a free suit with the sales package we got! Very satisfied.

We had great, friendly service throughout our experience but a mix-up with my grooms tie had him frazzled the entire day of the wedding. First of all, we were disheartened that we were told that we couldn't pick anything up until 2 days before our wedding. When my groom went to pick up his suit at the earliest time possible, he learned that this was just to fit him again and he would have to come back the following day again to pick up the suit. As we lived an hour away andhad rehearsal & rehearsal dinner that day, we asked one of the groomsmen to pick up the suit. On the day of our wedding, my groom finds out that he was given the wrong tie, which caused him to panic, his sister in law to be driving around to Macy's trying to find something that would match while he waited to be contacted back about where his tie was. I hope that this is not a typical experience but hated that my groom had to be a nervous wreck leading up to our ceremony as the tie was dropped off 30 minutes before the ceremony was to begin. :(

Romanoff's is the way to go for your tux rentals. I was put off by the big warehouse tuxedo rental. Romanoff's was attentive to me and my requests. I was able to try on all of the styles before making my selection. I liked the fact that all of the tuxedos are stored locally, so if there is an issue with the fit, they can fix it while you wait. All of my groomsman were from out of town. They were able to call or mail in their measurements. I was able to pick everyone's tuxedos up the day before the wedding. One of my groomsman had a size issue, but they fixed it while he waited. I think it took a total of 5 minutes to fix the problem. They are a great company. I highly recommend them.

Wish we would have gotten our suit before the wedding but the quality of the tuxedos was awesome and getting the grooms tuxedo for free was nice. They dont really talk about the free suit and should have you pick it out when you get fitted for your tux.

the tuxes looked great on the groomsmen, but not so good on the groom. Always seemed like we were bothering them when we called or went in. If time wasn't an issue, we would have gone somewhere else.

We went with Romanoff's tuxedo's and loved it. They took the time to make sure everyone's tux fit right and adjusted the ones that didn't. They even special ordered the right color vest for us after I had searched everywhere for them. I would defiantly use them again.

They were okay, nothing great, nothing bad

We chose Romanoff's because they had several deal options for the groom. A free suit or your tux to keep or a free tux rental for the groom...many discounts from an open house at Brookshire. They didn't give the groomsmen receipts for their deposit which seemed weird, but everything worked out ok and all the guys looked great on the day of the wedding.

After going to a tuxedo rental shop where the sales associates did not know a single thing about tuxedo styles and could not answer any questions, it was such a relief to go to Romanoff's. Over the phone, the owner described some tux styles to me. My fiance and I dropped by the shop; the owner was wonderful about giving advice when requested and was never pushy. We selected a lovely Ralph Lauren single-button shawl collar tux and my fiance and his groomsmen commented on how comfortable they were. It was wonderful to deal with Romanoff's, a shop that knows tuxedos and how they should fit. I definitely recommend them!

We went with a non-traditional wedding and really wanted tan tuxes to go with it. It was very hard to find some, but Romanoff's was able to provide us with gorgeous tan tuxes and they were extremely easy to work with as well as reasonably priced. They helped us get measurements for all of our out-of-town people and explained all of our color options to best match the ladies dresses. They also had various locations to make it even more convenient. I would recommend them to anyone needing a tux!
