George was a wonderful addition to the beautiful morning wedding held in a quaint historic chapel. The guitar music really added a lovely touch and helped set the ambiance for the fall wedding.

George is a class act. I am beyond grateful I was able to find him and that he had availability to work with us. George showed up on time and he was very professional and so easy to work with. We had many compliments on the music... My only regret is not taking more time to watch and listen to the tunes by George. Thanks for helping us make our day so special! Mr. Schumann recently played his guitar for my daughter's wedding and cocktail hour. He arrived in plenty of time to set up and was dressed very handsomely in a tuxedo. Very professional looking. With everything else going on, the one thing I did not have to worry about at all was the music. George took care of everything and his timing was spot on. Perfect. His song selections were amazing and we received dozens of compliments on the music at the end of the night. During the entire wedding planning process, I really really wanted to request a special song for my husband and I to dance to. Alas, I was just too busy to ever make the request to George and I never said a word about it to anyone. To my utter amazement, the very last song of the night was our song. The very song I wanted to request but never found the time to make. My husband and I promptly danced with tears in our eyes. What a blessed ending to a most joyous occasion. Thank you for everything George! Worth every penny and then some!! The memories you helped to create are priceless and will live on forever in our daughters wedding video and in our hearts.

George did such an amazing job playing guitar at our wedding. He was super easy to communicate with prior to our wedding and he even learned two new songs for our special day. I would definitely recommend George for other weddings! You won’t regret it :D

We hired George to provide music while guests were being seated for the ceremony and then afterwards at the cocktail hour. He played a wonderful blend of oldies and current songs that set the mood perfectly. It is clear he has a deep passion for his instrument...and it is contagious! He has an exhaustive repertoire, but even offered to learn something new if we had a special request. (He also was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to emails.)

I searched and searched for a live music option for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I reached out to several, listened to a ton of their samples, read reviews, and just didn't fall in love with anything that I found. I re-visited The Knot and found George. He responded quickly to my email inquiry, pointed me to his additional sample links, and we talked about my ideas and thoughts for our upcoming wedding. George played his recommended songs during guest arrival time and then my requested songs for the ceremony. George continued to play during our cocktail hour until the guests were seated for dinner and we switched over to a DJ for open-dancing. So many people commented on George and how much they enjoyed his music. George was responsive to any and all questions I had, provided suggestions when I needed them, and overall was a great pleasure to work with.

George is awesome to work with. He played really well, was very good with learning some of our requests, and had a really great set up for the wedding. If you want a guitarist who has a lot of talent and is worth every penny, look no further!

George recently played an incredible guitar ensemble at our August wedding at Orchard House. We requested that he play some custom instrumental guitar by artists like Greta Van Fleet and Justin Bieber, and he performed them beyond our expectations, which were already high! We cannot thank George enough for being the soundtrack to our day.

Couldn't have been better. George was so easy to work with, he offered to learn and did learn new songs for us, he was competitively priced, and he even played for a bit of extra time due to delays. He was totally awesome. One short anecdote: During our processional, in the midst of many slow marches down the aisle of groomsmen and bridesmaids, a flower girl bolted down the aisle at a full sprint. Without missing a beat, George sped up the pace of his processional music to match the running flower girl, then slowed it back down as the rest of the wedding party proceeded at the previous, slower pace. It was just a beautiful moment of spontaneity. We're so grateful to George for being part of our special day; you should consider making him part of yours, too!

We had a small backyard wedding on 5/28/2022 and hired George for the ceremony music. He was awesome! He showed up early, and all the guests loved the music. We even ran into a last minute snag and needed an extra microphone, which George kindly brought with him. Great guy and talented musician!!

We used George for our prelude and ceremony acoustic music. He was extremely flexible in learning personalized songs for our ceremony. Multiple guests commented on his fantastic guitar playing and talent. He was easy to communicate with and a pleasure to work with.

George played for our wedding on 10/23/21 and it was absolutely wonderful. He was very easy to work with from the beginning and was very prompt with email communications. He has a lengthy list of song selections, but also played the two songs I personally selected for our processional and recessional. His guitar playing is phenomenal, and it created a superb environment for the ceremony and reception. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a guitar player for their wedding.

George was outstanding! After visiting a few local places to hear him play live prior to booking, it was clear he was the best person for our celebration. We had eloped at a nature preserve, and George went so far as to pack in/out his guitar, amp and music over a half mile total in his tux so we could have music at our ceremony. He then set up at New Albany Country Club for a private dinner party celebration where he provided a lovely evening's worth of great music. Several guests went so far as to sing along to some of the hits. George was extremely accommodating, really going above and beyond to meet our needs. We even worked with him to arrange a couple songs of our choosing. I 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a classy or casual affair. Already looking forward to hearing him on a friday or saturday night soon.

George is terrific, a talented musician who has an extensive repertoire. He played all the selections we requested plus lots of others. The music was beautiful and appealed to both young and old. A brief rain shower did not disrupt his performance or professionalism. I’d definitely use him again.

George was easy to work with. Beyond that, his musical knowledge is vast and performances were excellent. In fact, our guests still talk about how great George was! George provided the perfect vibe for our wedding day!

What can I say? George is amazing. We first noticed his talent and pleasurable music while at Fugu Sushi. I reached out to him to see if he could play my wedding. Thankfully he was available that day. George will make whatever event you have 10X more classy. He showed up professionally dressed in a tuxedo for my black tie wedding day. He blends in very nicely. You will not be disappointed. He's worth every penny plus more. Highly recommend.

Not only is George talented, but he is so kind and accommodating. He played his acoustic guitar at our small intimate ceremony and it was such a nice touch. He even learned some special songs we requested. We'll be hiring him again for our larger reception next year.

George was the highlight of our intimate backyard wedding! He was extremely responsive to emails, he took song suggestions that weren’t in his list of options and learned them, is very reasonably priced, and of course plays BEAUTIFULLY. Our guests raved about him all night and still text us to this day how amazing he was and that they wanted his info. If you’re looking for a guitarist for your wedding, look no further.. I couldn’t speak more highly of George’s talents and professionalism. He was so easy to work with both in our communications before the wedding and on the day of. Even when we experienced some rain during the reception, George handled it like a pro and was not phased. Our first dance was to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis, and thanks to George that song will continue to hold a special place in my heart. Book George Schumann and you will not be disappointed!

George was great to work with! He was extremely friendly and did a wonderful job performing for our wedding ceremony, it was everything we wanted it to be! Although we were off getting our pictures during cocktail hour (and unfortunately had to miss George's playing during it), we had guests telling us later in the night how much they enjoyed listening to him play! Communication with George leading up to our wedding was always great! Even after hiring him on short notice, he was always super nice and very accommodating to make our wedding ceremony exactly how we wanted. If you are considering live music for your wedding ceremony or reception hire George! Don’t even hesitate! He had a wonderful online profile with song samples to choose from but to be honest his playing live doesn’t do his profile justice. He is amazing!! I emailed George the songs and vibe I wanted at my September backyard wedding and he showed up, set up and was playing before I even got to meet him! Such a professional!
