Ron Michaels Weddings

he event arises, and would recommend him to every person looking for a DJ in the Estes Park/Colorado area. He really took the time to get to know us and made us feel like everything would come together in the way we wanted, which it did. Thank you Ron for such a beautiful and fun wedding reception!!

uggestions and knowledge.

ional documents, full of tips and advice, were vital parts of why our wedding day went so wonderfully well. His music selection kept the dance floor busy throughout the entire night, despite it being a very small wedding. It seems very clear to me that Ron truly enjoys his job, and it shows in how much he cares about making the day truly special.

him to anyone getting married in the area!!

ping us feel significantly more confident about every one of our decisions. If you need a DJ (or officiant!) I would highly highly recommend him.

played awesome music for our special day. We loved having Ron be our DJ at our wedding!

ction and how the night flowed. He took care of everything and made it low stress for us. Highly recommend!

d experience. He is super friendly, open, and very willing to help with wedding planning beyond his scope as a DJ. His planning materials are very helpful and organized so nothing gets forgotten or missed, and he is down for any type of music or neurotic bride’s requests (hehe). He went above and beyond to attend our ceremony rehearsal, and on the wedding day, things went smoothly and exactly as expected. Ron’s happy, calming demeanor kept us at ease on a beautiful but somewhat stressful day. He has mastered the art of seamlessly blending in to the venue while also facilitating a fun and upbeat party and standing out as a star vendor. We could not be happier with our experience with Ron as our DJ/emcee!

to help out. He truly wants to make your wedding day the best it can be. The entire process is so simple, with him having various simple forms for you to fill out with day of specifics (music, timeline, etc). He is a great emcee and overall just a fun guy to talk to. He has been doing this for a long time and the experience SHOWS.

very detail in our planning meetings, and was always available for questions leading up to the big day. Ron also gave us some helpful suggestions that made our wedding day even better, like "table trivia" to determine which table goes to the buffet line first (which our guests loved). On our wedding day, Ron did a great job of keeping the "flow" of the event: from cocktail hour, to dinner, to dancing. Best of all, once the dancing started, the music was incredible. We had a multicultural wedding and wanted a good mix of American and Mexican wedding music, and Ron nailed it. He truly has a gift for reading the room and noticing what songs bring people to the dance floor, which we noticed throughout the night. Overall, we are so thrilled with how our wedding turned out thanks to DJ Ron, and we would 100% recommend him to anyone planning their wedding in Colorado!

of everything. He was always so responsive to us, had great suggestions, and was willing to try new traditions with us and trusted the process. He helped us with our timeline, helped the bridal party with their speeches and kept the party going! He even had a special moment where he played a recording of my grandma giving a toast even though she was thousands of miles away. He also turned the marriage license in for us the next day. And on top of all of this, we live across the country from him and there never felt like a barrier because of that. We love Ron!

Everybody I talked to that came to our wedding really enjoyed the music. He even dropped off our marriage license for us. I can not recommend him enough!

ve us peace of mind leading up to the big day. Ron was not only professional but also brought a fun and lighthearted energy that kept everyone smiling. His ability to read the room was amazing—he picked up on the vibe of the crowd and played music that kept the dance floor packed all night. His song choices were spot on, and he even accommodated all of our requests with ease. Multiple guests told us it was one of the best dance parties they’d ever been to! If you want a DJ who’s funny, flexible, and knows how to keep the party going, Ron Michaels is your guy. Thank you, Ron, for making our wedding reception unforgettable!

Chandlers

our other vendors, which made all things music go seamlessly. He set up speakers for the ceremony, brought microphones and a lapel mic for our officiant, and still managed to play great music as we moved from cocktail hour to dancing at the reception. Prior to the wedding, he reached out to our maid of honor, best man, and father of the bride with tips about writing toasts, and also helped our officiant with her ceremony script, which she shared was super helpful. During the reception, he was the perfect emcee of dinnertime trivia for our guests, and really read the crowd at all times. We have since heard from numerous guests of various ages that his reception music was AWESOME, and we agree—we had asked to keep the energy up for dancing, and he answered with banger after banger; one of our guests said she kept wanting to take a break, and yet could not leave the dance floor because she loved all of the song choices so much! There was a perfect mix of song genres for all guests and from all over the United States, and Ron listened to our goals for the reception from Day 1 with warmth and openness. We would HIGHLY recommend his services to everyone, and hope our paths cross again on a dance floor in Colorado some day!

ggestions in the lead-up to the event made the planning process much smoother. On the big day, he delivered a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony that moved us and our guests. The music selections were perfect, setting the right tone at every moment, from the ceremony to the reception. He kept the energy high throughout the night, and everything flowed seamlessly, thanks to his careful coordination. We’re so grateful for his professionalism, warmth, and expertise. Ron truly made our wedding unforgettable!

ng a dj, which was one of the toughest, highest-stakes vendors for us. Ron was professional, on time, and provided seamless services during our ceremony and reception, but the planning help he provided in advance for our ceremony and reception was also so helpful and so necessary!! He helped us think through all the details we didn't know we needed to think about, and this help was invaluable (especially as we didn't have a wedding planner). Hiring vendors that you can feel confident about and help you work through things is the best money spent. I will also mention that Ron also offered fun little games as part of the reception, which was great for our crowd. Thank you Ron for playing such a huge role in making our day seamless and so much fun!!!

fessional, engaging, and talented, Ron exceeded our expectations and made our celebration unforgettable. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to elevate their event with fantastic music and a vibrant atmosphere!

g to rehearsal to walk through it all with us!

hed by any, and the Shoe Game he led was especially awesome. He was really good at making sure everything ran on time and happened. It all went smoothly and without a hitch. Some of our friends spontaneously decided to do start a limbo game and he happily helped them! Thank you so much Ron, for helping to make our wedding wonderful. Thank you also for playing "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald". -Anna and Aaron Murphy

d. He has great taste in music and kept putting on great songs with great timing to keep the dance floor active and fun.

or any other DJ to be apart of our day!

ect for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and provided resources for our officiants (aka our mothers) who have never performed a wedding ceremony. This man knows his stuff and provides insight into things you never considered (like slow songs for guests not used to the Estes Park altitude!). On wedding day he perfectly transitioned throughout the day and had everyone out on the dance floor throughout the night! He knew how to read the room and made our night THE MOST UNFORGETABLE. We would highly recommend Ron to anyone looking for an amazing DJ!

elevant announcements, and playing decent music that would actually make people want to dance. Seems straightforward, but we've been to several weddings recently that didn't check any of those boxes! From day 1, Ron was communicative, organized (which meant we knew what to expect day of), flexible/accommodating, reassuring/positive and just plain nice. His planning docs helped us stay organized and ensured we were all on the same page. He came to our rehearsal the day before to introduce himself and get a lay of the land. Day of, he was a friendly and reassuring face (especially when the rain was threatening to move our ceremony inside). As for the boxes we wanted checked off -- volume was perfect throughout the night (no need to scream at your neighbor during dinner to be heard!), he made all announcements we asked for and made some other helpful ones, and his music choices were a perfect mix for everyone. Everything transitioned seamlessly. We had several guests comment on how great he was, including my dad who doesn't hand out compliments to just anyone! All I can say is, HIRE RON -- he is a great human and a wonderful DJ! He is the one vendor you won't have to stress about at all!

er destination wedding, he had everyone on the dance floor and even had some fun and interactive dinner games that our guests really enjoyed. Thanks Ron!

thing more and our wedding was perfect!!! Thanks Ron!!

e was very organized and ready to work with us and accommodate our wedding needs!

t with him three times before our wedding day and he made us feel the most confident and secure than any of our other vendors. Not only was he fun and had great music, his sound systems were phenomenal and we had no problems with any of them! 10 stars to you Ron, I am so happy we found you!

g because he had it taken care of. Our ceremony was outside in the mountains with very high winds and because of Ron everyone heard us clearly. We got several compliments on our reception music, and we had such a fun time dancing!

ppen. The dance floor was full the entire night. You cannot go wrong having Ron help make your wedding a wonderful event!

lively dance floors of all the weddings they had been to. We even had people tell us that they don’t usually dance at weddings, but were on the dance floor all night! We attribute this to the music Ron played and his incredible ability to read the room is order to get people on (and stay on) the dance floor!! Ron was also a huge help leading up to the wedding by talking through various music selections and other MC aspects throughout the day. Ron was highly professional and provided excellent support and resources to ensure we felt comfortable in the decisions we were making and the flow of everything day of. Ron also worked with my brother who officiated our wedding and those doing toasts to provide tips for success! Thank you Ron, you were such a huge part in making our day so wonderful!!

move forward and inquire about his services. After having an initial zoom call to go over what we were looking for in a DJ and what vibe we wanted our wedding to provide, we knew Ron would be perfect. He did not disappoint. Our wedding was so much fun and everyone was dancing, we even had family members dance that we have never seen do so in the past. There was a nice mix of music, something for everyone. If you are considering Ron for your wedding or any event, I highly suggest you lock him in.

some of our guests said that was one of their favorite parts. Everyone had some good laughs at our (voluntary) expense which made it really fun and not just an average wedding. He also has been in the business for quite a while so knows all the major venues and their coordinators and planners.

al of our guests told us that "the DJ knocked it out of the park" and they "loved every song he played". He coordinated the toasts well and everything went so smoothly. I couldn't recommend his services enough!!!

edding reception. His DJ skills were amazing and we chose to have Ron choose the music that would be played after he assured us that he could “read the crowd”. Best decision we could have made as there was not a single minute that the dance floor was not packed! As the “director” of the reception, he was exceptional. His professionalism and attention to detail kept the party running smoothly and on time the entire evening. Most of all, Ron is just a great guy, fun to work with and was always there for us from the initial meeting until the last song. Truly couldn’t recommend a better guy!

ntion to the details, and was just such an easy person to work with! Very diligent! Our guests raved about his DJ style. He really read the room and kept people going on the dance floor! The audio was also fantastic during our ceremony. My husbands “favorite vendor”. Can’t recommend him enough! You won’t regret booking Ron!

musical style. Ron was extremely professional, kind, and easy to communicate with, and helped us pull off the perfect reception - from playing some of our favorite gentle tracks during cocktail hour, to a "favorite albums" table release, and a truly amazing dance floor (he was great at reading the room and balancing the classics with our request for an early-2000's high school dance vibe). I'd hire Ron again in a heartbeat!

ck of our entire wedding. I don't know if our wedding would have appropriately functioned without him. Ron was super detail-oriented and organized, from pre-wedding planning to ensuring guests made it on the last shuttle. Aside from being a true professional and knowing what he's doing, he's also a genuinely lovely person to work with.

d a form to fill out to make our wedding music run very smoothly the entire day. He made sure to get every song we wanted for our wedding. He is really quick to get back to you with any questions you might have. He is very good at reading the crowd and got a lot of people out on the dance floor for the entire night. I would highly recommend him!
