The Roof Garden is such an elegant venue and for our fall wedding reception It was a perfect setting. Jessica, the venue coordinator, did a wonderful job setting up the venue how ...
wanted it and was always so helpful.
We got married on 10/21 and it was absolutely perfect! Jessica was always available and made planning a wedding seem easy... she worked closely with us and listened to what we en...
visioned for our big day. The balcony was the perfect place for an intimate ceremony overlooking the Strand. I highly recommend Jessica and The Roof Garden!
We chose to have our 4/8/17 wedding at the Roof Garden which was the best decision. Jessica and her staff did an incredible job of set up and decorating. We had 175 guest in attend...
ance for the ceremony and reception at this venue. We were married under a sheer lit canopy on the balcony and all of our guests were able to be seated. We loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors which was more cost effective. The Roof Garden is such a beautiful and historical event center. Jessica and her staff did an incredible job to make sure that our wedding was wonderful.
I just want to say that the Roof Garden is the perfect place for a wedding reception (or for both a wedding ceremony & reception)…The building alone is beautiful, classy, and all-i...
n-all like I said before PERFECT. And when I say perfect, I also am referring to the owners of this venue, Juliet & Charlie, as well as the other wonderful people that help to keep that place going! They are so down to earth, and really tailor everything they possibly can to your needs. The Roof Garden was a dream come true for our wedding reception!
It is a classy venue for a wedding reception. The balcony provides a great view of The Strand area, and additional seating for guests. The only problem I had with this venue is get...
ting ahold of the owners. It took at least 2 weeks for an email to be answered and a week for phone calls. The owners are very accommodating though.
My husband and I got married on June 8th in Galveston. We had our reception at the Roof Garden on the Strand, which was wonderful. We loved working with Charles, Juliet, and Darcy....
Roof Garden is a family-owned business and planned ahead for when their daughters got married. They set up to be a place that they would want to deal with for their daughters' special day. All linens, tables, and chairs included. Flexible access to the building, suggestions on how to set up the space, a full caterer's kitchen, very nice bathrooms, tall ceilings, brightly lit (or dim if you prefer), AV equipment available, GORGEOUS glass doors and windows lining the balcony side of the room, plants to decorate with, a grand staircase, I could go on, but...what more could you ask for? The set up the tables / linens the way you like, and so all you (or your vendors) need to do is come in and decorate. Easy, peasy! This is my second time working with the Roof Garden Family (the first was a banquet), and I would love to work with them again.
We ended up with about 200 people, so we had the head table parallel with the balcony, a small dance area in front of the head table, and then the guests were seated beyond that. I knew going in that it would be a tight squeeze, but we made it work! It was a wonderful reception!! If I could go back in time, I would relive it a hundred times over. Go to the Roof Garden for your reception!! It's wonderful!! :)
