ting ahold of the owners. It took at least 2 weeks for an email to be answered and a week for phone calls. The owners are very accommodating though.

Roof Garden is a family-owned business and planned ahead for when their daughters got married. They set up to be a place that they would want to deal with for their daughters' special day. All linens, tables, and chairs included. Flexible access to the building, suggestions on how to set up the space, a full caterer's kitchen, very nice bathrooms, tall ceilings, brightly lit (or dim if you prefer), AV equipment available, GORGEOUS glass doors and windows lining the balcony side of the room, plants to decorate with, a grand staircase, I could go on, but...what more could you ask for? The set up the tables / linens the way you like, and so all you (or your vendors) need to do is come in and decorate. Easy, peasy! This is my second time working with the Roof Garden Family (the first was a banquet), and I would love to work with them again.
We ended up with about 200 people, so we had the head table parallel with the balcony, a small dance area in front of the head table, and then the guests were seated beyond that. I knew going in that it would be a tight squeeze, but we made it work! It was a wonderful reception!! If I could go back in time, I would relive it a hundred times over. Go to the Roof Garden for your reception!! It's wonderful!! :)
