My bouquet was everything and the large pieces were perfectly able to transfer from the ceremony to reception with her team's help. The bud vases we had at the wedding reception were way more full and beautiful than I would ever expect of a bud vase. Definitely would recommend working with her.

My heart was set on having hydrangeas in my bouquet as an homage to childhood summers spent on Cape Cod. In order to help me to decide between using real hydrangeas or replacing with silk, Therese ran a literal experiment in which she left cut hydrangeas outside in the Missouri heat for 6 hours and took pictures to demonstrate how they held up so that I would know what to expect. I ultimately went with silk substitutions, and they were totally indistinguishable from real flowers! 2. Our wedding venue was located nearby Therese's design studio, so we had planned to have my dad pick up the bouquets on the day of the wedding. Therese texted me the morning-of to say that the gas company was doing work on her road, making it impassable, and hand-delivered the flowers herself without charging us a fee. On a similar note, Therese was also incredibly thoughtful about helping us keep to our budget throughout the process. She helped us to design an a la carte package that included the floral elements we wanted for our celebration without forcing us to include things that were not in our vision/budget. We chose to work with Therese based on the recommendation of a co-worker, and it honestly may have have been one of our best wedding planning decisions. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose Root & Relic to flower us every time!

On the day of our ceremony, we arrived to see the absolutely stunning bridal bouquet and perfect arrangements for the ceremony space that we were able to repurpose for the reception. The florals helped us feel like our wedding was beautiful, meaningful, and true to us, and they have turned out so well in all of our pictures. R&R also made the most beautiful flower crowns for my nieces as the flower girls, and the collar for our dog to take photos with, and I'm so glad we added those touches.
