How do I even start to describe Ethan of Rooted Photo & Film? We originally found Ethan when we were looking for someone to do our engagement photos. We were a bit stiff at first as neither of us have had any sort of modeling experience whatsoe...

ver. Ethan knew exactly what to do. He created games, had us share funny stories with each other, and played music to set a calm and fun atmosphere. After the photoshoot was over, we went to a local cafe and hung out literally until closing. It was as if we were all old friends just catching up. We knew instantly that we needed him for our wedding. Not only did Ethan deliver exceptional pictures, but he stood firm in making sure that our day was truly about us. Ethan wasn't just a wonderful photographer but an amazing wedding planner and wedding coordinator. He got along with our families very well, knew exactly when to step in and step out, and always finds a way to have a great time. At the very end of our night we were so sad to say goodbye. He truly captured our hearts. (see what I did there? Very punny).

My fiancé and I won an engagement shoot with Rooted Photo & Film Co and we had the best experience! Ethan held several zoom calls with us to get to know each other & make sure we were all on the same page. We had no idea what to expect because ...

we’ve never had our pictures taken professionally, but Ethan made us feel so comfortable. We met beforehand for coffee to catch up and go over what to expect. Throughout the session, he gave us prompts or games to do while he captured the real moments & laughs between my fiancé and I. The pictures turned out so great and we could tell Ethan put a lot of time and effort into them. We loved them so much we ended up hiring Ethan to capture our big day next fall! We are so excited to work with him! It is so nice having a photographer we can trust to do a great job.

Hey friend, my name is Ethan! I'm a bit of a thrill-seeker and an adventurer at heart. My favorite local destination is Red River Gorge, but I love to travel to and hike the mountains out West (Colorado, Wyoming, and Alaska are my three favorite places so far!) I've got a very strong love for a great story, my current favorite shows and movies are Lord of the Rings, Avatar, Game of Thrones, and Star Wars. I am currently engaged and set to marry Abby, the love of my life in July of 2023! We both love our German Short-haired pointer named Juniper Belle, and share a love for making an impact!
