No words can adequately express how thankful we are to have booked Rooted Together for our wedding management needs! Admittedly, we went into the wedding planning process having underestimated the amount of work that would be involved (as most probably do!). Upon deciding that we were going to be hands-on with planning + design, we quickly realized that we needed the help of experienced professionals to ensure that we were checking all of the boxes and to execute our vision come day-of. Well, we got all of that and WAY more with Courtney and Angela. To say that they go above and beyond for their clients would be an understatement. From communicating our requests to vendors and creating the day-of timeline, running the rehearsal, setting up and tearing down decor, picking up lunches for the wedding party, steaming the bridesmaids’ dresses and tying the groomsmen’s bow ties — and being on standby whenever I needed a touch-up or simply a calming force:) — that’s only a fraction of what they did for us, and my husband and I are still in awe of how hard they work. Never once did Tim or I feel unprepared or stressed about things getting done because the RT ladies are so on top of everything. Courtney and Angela gave us the gift of being able to fully enjoy our wedding day without having to worry about a thing, and they provided us with so much peace of mind throughout the planning process. Not to mention, they’re two of the most AMAZING women I’ve ever met on a personal level. I met with a few different wedding planners, and immediately clicked with Courtney. She is kind, bubbly, detail-oriented, organized, hard-working and overall just an incredible person. She designed our wedding for us and really took the time to ensure that the design elements represented us as a couple. She listened to my vision and created a wedding more beautiful and spectacular than I could have ever imagined. She and her team also ensured that our wedding day ran as smoothly as possible. Courtney, Andrea, and Rooted Together team are just simply and absolutely amazing! I reached out to several month-of planners in the Columbus area--none of them replied to me as warmly and genuinely as Courtney. We met over FaceTime (COVID!) but I knew that not only does she know the industry, she's just the type of person you want in your corner. When we had to postpone our wedding in December 2020, Andrea had all of my vendors re-booked IN FOUR HOURS!--Sure, I was still disappointed, but I was so impressed! Our wedding at Strongwater in April 2021 was perfect. Their planning up to my wedding day was well thought out and helped organize my thoughts and vision. They set up all the details beyond my imagination and were just a guided force throughout the day. Anything I had questions about or needed--they were right there. They even helped keep my dog Cheddar ready for his walk (sprint) down the aisle. I could go on and on! Quite simply, if you're getting married or having a big event, hire them! See for yourself! :)

Courtney, Andrea and her team were absolutely incredible! We booked the wedding management package and everything was perfect. Courtney is a BOSS and I honestly wouldn’t have had a clue if there was a fire to be put out because she handles it!!.. and at the same time making sure you are feeling good and comfortable. We had so many compliments on how smooth and perfect our day went and we couldn’t agree more. It was such a pleasure to work with this team and would HIGHLY recommend!!

Courtney and her team are hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! It was a split decision at the beginning, and the day after the wedding everyone agreed that it is the best money we spent for our wedding. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, DO IT! Rooted Together is the way to go and you won’t be disappointed. The only thing we would change is to have her longer throughout the process! We hired Courtney for our day of coordinator and she went above and beyond for us. We hired her in 2019 and then had to postpone our 2020 wedding for 2021. She had managed to completely postpone everything to our new date in no time and took so much stress off of my plate. She is great at making sure everything you might need is on a list and goes over it in complete detail to ensure you have everything on your big day. She has a great team! We worked with Andrea and Amy, too. My husband later told me that there was a huge issue with one of our suits and her team took care of it and made sure everything was fixed. They were on top of it and I had no idea anything had gone wrong. Courtney thinks of EVERYTHING and is a dream to work with. She is generous and kind, and has a very calming energy, but she gets things done and has a great timeline. We are forever grateful for her, her team, and her kindness for giving us the dreamy day we imagined. We gave her creative freedom to improve anything that we planned to make sure it looked right, and the spaces both brought me to tears. Everything was so beautiful and exactly what we wanted! We are so grateful!

Courtney and Andrea were absolutely amazing !! From start to finish they helped us as month of coordinators with our covid date change. There were many little things that went wrong throughout the day that they handled and I didnt even know about till after the event. For example my dress came out of the bag after being steamed and had a funky smell and courtney handled it and I didnt even find out till after the fact. They were there to say take a breath when I got anxious and handled themselves with the upmost professionalism. They are a must have for your wedding and we are blessed to have worked with them!

We hired rooted together to help with month of and day of for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! They made it so I I had a stress free day and I really got to enjoy it. They executed everything perfectly. We had a huge wedding party and made sure to be assertive per our request to keep everyone on time and paying attention. It was the best day and We were so happy to be able to just enjoy it!

Best wedding planners ever!!! Courtney and her team were absolutely amazing!!! Having to plan and re-plan your wedding to COVID can be tough but courtney and her team made it so easy!!! We also had them plan our wedding weekend as well as our wedding and they did such an amazing job, the whole weekend was a blast!!! They took care of every little detail, putting their all into making sure everything was perfect it it turned out absolutely amazing!!! I had full trust in courtney and her team and knew I could relax and didn't have to worry about anything!!! I am a perfectionist so that was no small task!!! Must hire for your big day!!! Courtney is absolutely amazing!!! She helped plan every detail (literally every detail!) and was so incredibly helpful in turning our ideas and dreams for the wedding into reality. She and her staff truly put 120% into everything they do and made sure that the day was so special and full of happiness. They really helped ensure that everything ran smoothly and I knew I didn't need to worry knowing Courtney was in charge of it! I began planning my wedding on my own - I even booked a handful of my vendors. But, I did not enjoy any of it and it was really dampening my wedding planning spirits. My wedding photographer (shoutout to Samantha Newman Photography) actually suggested Courtney to me, so I reached out and met for coffee. Courtney greeted me and my sister with an open armed hug and I felt myself audibly sigh in relief - she was a breath of fresh air and exactly what I needed. Courtney jumped right in where I had left off and helped us to pull all of vendors together and really bring our wedding vision to life. All was smooth sailing, until March 2020 hit and COVID-19 changed everything. I can honestly say I only panicked every now and then and I know that is 100% because I had Courtney on my side. She had some of the hard conversations with vendors that I dreaded having and negotiated everything as our guest count lowered and lowered. We were blessed to be able to continue on with our wedding on our originally planned wedding date and Courtney and her team handled every little detail. The reception hall reveal left us in awe and I think I used the word "perfect" at least 100 times in the span of 5 minutes. Courtney took every little detail I had dreamed up in my head and brought it all to life in front of us. I felt at ease the entire day and was truly able to enjoy the entire day thanks to Courtney and her girls. I honestly couldn't even tell you if anything went wrong throughout the course of the day and that is exactly how it should be. I will recommend Rooted Together to every engaged couple I know!

So when I first started wedding planning, I was full on into it. I loved it. I had almost all my vendors booked within a month of my engagement and I thought I knew exactly what I was doing. I happened to scroll across Courtneys instagram one late night, and saw her profile. I have no idea what made me reach out to her because I kept telling myself I didn't need a wedding planner, I knew what I was doing, but buddy was I wrong. I met for coffee with Courtney later that week and immediately knew I needed to have her help me. She off the bat in that conversation mentioned 5-10 things I had NOT even thought of and I was in awe at how experienced and kind she was and willing to help me even though I wanted to primarily plan it! I booked her for her month of coordination package promptly. I was able to reach out via email and ask Courtney questions along the way, and she so graciously extended help and phone calls when she didn't have to during Coronavirus and my MIL getting cancer that helped us a lot to know what to do and how to manage. Fast forward to my month of- she made sure everything was in place for our day and decorated and set up our wedding absolutely stunning. I am sometimes an anxious person and very in control, and I am happy I was able to release that control to Courtney because honestly I don't know if I would have felt comfortable to with anyone else, but she put me so at ease the day of my wedding and let me know even when I was off schedule that it was okay. Her and Andrea both rocked out my wedding day. Their peace, demeanor, professionalism, and attitudes were awesome. From when my husband shoved cake in my eyes and her helping me in the bathroom, to coordinating with my Dj, to playing florist with my DIY floral from flower man, to us abruptly deciding to end the wedding early because we were tired, she was there and nailed it all. I didn't worry where my belongings were, I didn't worry if everyone was in place or had their corsages, I didn't worry about anything that day, solely thanks to this team. I cannot thank you enough Courtney and Andrea. If you are a bride like myself thinking you can do it all, think again, because no one could have anticipated what planning a wedding during Covid-19 or even just in general is like, and I am so blessed that I booked Courtney to have her guidance during uncertain times. I originally planned on handling coordination/ design of my wedding on my own but when COVID forced us to cancel our original wedding I knew I needed some help. After working with Courtney, I could not imagine going through the process and wedding day without her. I assure you that after you meet Courtney you’ll feel as if you’ve known her for years. Her knowledge of the industry, sense of ease and we-can-fix-it attitude is what makes her so great at what she does. We had the opportunity to work with 3 rooted together women and they were all fantastic!! Our day would have not gone as smoothly without them. Please do yourself a favor and hire Courtney to be your wedding planner, this will be the best decision you make during your entire planning process!!! I met Courtney two weeks before my wedding. I was convinced I had everything under control and ready for my own wedding. Two weeks before my wedding though I was a bridesmaid in my best friend/Maid of Honor’s wedding. Here, I got to see everything Courtney does first hand and I had a front row seat during the multiple times she saved the day. By the time we reached the reception I pulled Courtney aside and asked if she was free for my wedding two weeks later. Courtney was appropriately taken aback for a moment considering moment considering day of planning is not something she typically offers. However, she graciously agreed to step in and I couldn’t be more grateful for her! I honestly don’t know everything Courtney did the day of my wedding and that’s the way it should be. I know she solved problem after problem, but she kept everything out of my hair so I could relax and enjoy my day and I will be forever thankful for that! Courtney and team were amazing from the start. We met with Courtney in person preCovid and she bought us coffee and went through the process of hiring her and her team. I decided to go with the 6 week package. From the communication, the planning website, and all around support I would not have felt so comfortable and relaxed with our wedding without Rooted Together. Courtney helped us move our wedding to a different venue seamlessly due to Covid and reached out to all vendors multiple times to make sure all were on the sample page. Courtney is THE BEST! We had three weeks to plan a sophisticated and intimate backyard wedding during the pandemic and riots in Columbus. I was not sure it was possible to create our dream wedding in such a tumultuous and uncertain time. Let me tell you - our wedding could not have been more perfect. I knew Courtney from high school and knew of her work through other acquaintances experiences/weddings, but I didn't anticipate how quickly I would grow to love working with her and trust her. I was never a wedding girl or particularly interested in the bridal process and I was terrible at being organized. Our wedding was in Oct. 2019 and I'm just now getting to reviewing and adding photos to social media/thank you cards, so I desperately needed help with planning, not procrastinating, and execution. Courtney was a breath of fresh air, always calm and collected, and had the most positive attitude. Her enthusiasm helped make me more excited about the whole process and she was truly able to provide the cozy, warm feeling to our wedding that I wanted. I worked with her as she was transitioning from another planning company into her own and she completely maintained her professionalism and focused on our wedding. It was obvious that family, love, human connection, and maintaining relationships are at the forefront of her business. I am not exaggerating when I say that Courtney turned our wedding wishes into a reality. There were SO MANY details that Courtney had plans A, B and C for (and believe you me, I am so thankful for that because my Plan A did not always happen as smoothly as I pictured it in my head). It allowed me to enjoy the wedding day while she was the rockstar in the background. She is personable and easy to work with in addition to her incredible work ethic. I have nothing but good things to say about her and would 100% trust her to plan any important event in my life.

It took me 8 months after my wedding to finally write a review for Courtney, because I was truly afraid I wouldn't be able to put into words how INCREDIBLE this woman is at her job. But, I’ll give it my best shot. We had Courtney as our full service wedding coordinator starting a year out from the big day. She was extremely organized, energetic and always available to help. We had a not so small wedding guest list of over 500, envisioning a classy black tie affair, and she was on top of every detail. I was living out of state with my husband, so I felt it was extremely necessary to have full service help as soon as we could. I was unfamiliar with the wedding industry in Columbus, so why not trust someone that has the experience to narrow down a list for you of the top vendors they recommend, and then you choose from there? It seemed like a logical and helpful way to knock out the big stuff like a florist and photographer. We were able to give Courtney visions of the aesthetic we were going for, and just like that she had a beautiful vision board ready to go with vendor recommendations corresponding to all of it. I would have never been able to organize all of that and make the necessary calls to secure vendors from out of state on my own like Courtney did for us. When the wedding was about 4 months out, we began to have bi-weekly calls where we would both take notes on outstanding items, update each other on new ideas and check things off our to-do list together. On top of this, Courtney used an app that was extremely helpful – it kept everything organized with vendor agreements, checklists, budgeting, you name it! I loved this feature as we were planning this wedding from out of state, it really helped all of us remain accountable and organized. The morning after the big day, there’s always the question from the bride: “OK, so what went wrong last night that no one wanted to tell the bride about?” The answer to that question was: “Nothing. There were no hiccups. No issues. It was perfect”. I have Courtney to thank for that, and I will be forever grateful. Courtney is your girl for all your wedding planning needs, I promise you will not be disappointed!

I worked with Courtney for month of coordination. I am a type A personality that is very organized, so I was not sure if it was going to be worth the money for a day of coordinator. It was worth EVERY PENNY. She helped make sure every detail was planned for and ensure all vendors knew exactly how the day was going to flow. Courtney was truly amazing from picking up items for the dessert bar, to steaming dresses, and helping to resolve issues with the venue, she did it all. Courtney even saved our floral centerpieces when our florist dropped off our flowers without anyone signing for them, in the wrong color scheme. She found a solution and fixed every single one of them!! I am so thankful for everything Courtney did to help make our day special and exactly as we had envisioned it.

Courtney’s experience and professionalism allowed me, as a mother of the bride, to be fully present and enjoy each and every moment of the wedding reception! The compliments from our guests never stopped coming. From the moment I met Courtney, I knew she was the professional that could give us the guidance and structure that we were looking for.

Courtney agreed to step in as our day of coordinator for my daughter's wedding when our original planner ( just days before the wedding ) had a medical emergency. Let me tell you folks, she was miraculous in every way. We had a LOT of prep and setup and hauled in carloads of stuff and Courtney didn't bat an eye. I am talking about multiple large mirrored signs and easels, memorial chairs and station, champagne hedge with glassware, photo booth, vintage china and glassware, (2) potpourri stations, candy buffet, custom napkin folds, gold mirrored name cutouts at every place setting, menu cards, parchment table numbers that needed special folding and taping, a bench for guests signatures, a world travel display, furniture placement, glass jarred culinary salt favors in a tiered display, plus all the regular reception stuff like signs, etc. In addition to every single thing looking so beautiful, she did such a wonderful job organizing the rehearsal, making sure everyone was ready on time on the wedding day, the musicians were placed and had everything they needed, the vendors all were taken care of and took their meal breaks when planned...and a million other details that created a perfect wedding and reception for us. Seriously, I mean PERFECT! I could not find a single flaw or anything that was overlooked. And I am very, very particular. Like making sure our glasses always had champagne, that we sampled all 4 cake flavors, etc. And at the end of the evening everything was packed up and put into vehicles that we picked up the next day. We literally just walked out and into the limo. Courtney handled absolutely everything with poise and humor. She was just fabulous and so calm and serene. I can't even tell you how professional she was and so very kind. HIRE HER... you will not be disappointed.
