Roots & Waves Beauty

the ladies (& flower girls) looked beautiful. Our hair lasted >12 hours! I can't thank Alyse and her team enough! - Colette

loved my hair! Would highly recommend booking Alyse for your wedding hair!

ade everyone's dream look come true! I could not have created a better syle on my wedding day, and she helped me create that from the ground up! She was also so fun to be around on the wedding morning! She brought the vibes forsure! Highly reccomend!!

n another bridesmaid that originally did not think she wanted her hair done while still staying on time! I would absolutely recommend her because of her fair prices, hair styling ability, and great personality! I will be recommending her to my engaged friends! Easy 5 stars!

such an important & busy day! Thank you so much Alyse! 10/10 would recommend!!

on wedding day thanks to Alyse. Also- pricing was very affordable compared to other wedding vendors in Toledo area without sacrificing quality.

Alyse for her wedding in 2023. I was a bridesmaid in that wedding and I was extremely happy with how Alyse styled my hair and when I saw online that she traveled, I knew instantly I wanted to hire her for my wedding in July 2025. She did 9 updos for my wedding in under 5 hours and was incredible! They all turned out amazing! Then, my mom decided later in the morning she wanted to get her hair done also, and Alyse finished the other girls so quickly that she had time for my mom also. All of my bridesmaids kept telling me how much they all loved their hair and how polite Alyse was. She was extremely personable and made funny and chatty conversation, which I found above and beyond! She made everyone feel comfortable and kept the energy of the day going! I couldn’t recommend her more!!

perience!

was patient and really nailed combining the things I liked from 3 different pics into one! She made me, my MIL and bridesmaids feel beautiful! Highly recommend Alyse for your big day! ♥️

started right away, she was constantly checking on everyone’s hair and making sure everyone loved everything possible! She’s so sweet and fun to talk to and made everything with hair run as smoothly as possible! I could rave about her forever and so could my whole bridal party! She’s so great at what she does and I couldn’t recommend her enough, I will forever use her if I ever need my hair done again!

th picking the best hairstyle for my hair and dress and made sure I felt confident with it. The day of the wedding she worked incredibly hard getting my hair done as well as my mom’s and 8 bridesmaids! With that many people we had a wide variety of hair types that she handled perfectly! She was also super flexible when it came to last minute changes with hair styles due to the wind. My hair looked perfect for the ceremony and stayed that way throughout the whole night (which is what you need when dancing all night!). She was also able to recommend a makeup artist which was a great help in the wedding planning process.

n it throughout the day. Plus, all the ladies in my bridal party couldn’t stop talking about how lovely she was to work with. She’s funny, sweet, and certainly knows how to do a great job with bridal hair. You won’t regret hiring her for your big day.

ng my trial, etc. As for the day of, her vibe was fantastic as we were all laughing and listening to music and getting ready. I had a very particular vision for my hair, which she executed beautifully, in addition to getting my mom and bridesmaids camera ready. And on top of everything, her services were very reasonably priced. I would recommend Alyse to anyone in the Toledo/Maumee area.

d for my hair! I highly recommend her♡

absolute pleasure to work with, very kind and professional, yet fun (and brought the perfect vibe with her for our 'getting ready' time!) 100% would hire again! She was organized, efficient, fun, well prepared, and took amazing direction. On your wedding day you want a stylist who your bridesmaids/girls can show a photo to and have that style executed perfectly AND on-time....and that is Alyse! Thank you Alyse!

even better than it looked the first time and it was the best professional styling I have ever had. I am still dreaming about how amazing my hair looked!! It was the best experience. Book her!!

erent looks, she was so sweet and down to earth, and she saved the day before and during the wedding when she didn't have to help put out metaphorical fires that came up. I'm forever grateful to her and glad that I chose her as my wedding hair stylist for myself and my bridesmaids!

ial event.

as also super easy to work with; she made a few adjustments based on my feedback at a trial, and incorporated it all into the final look on the day of the wedding. She was communicative, punctual, and well prepared, and I thought very reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend her for future brides / bridal parties.

ran with it and did a fantastic job! I even spoke to her prior to my wedding that I was thinking about doing extensions to add some length and volume to my hair and she hooked me up with some amazing pieces that were color matched perfectly! I will be suggesting her to all of my friends and family!

ddess! Thanks to Alyse I was able to achieve my desired wedding look!

st did not hold up well on wedding day and I want to say it was due to her product (I had never used it before). Otherwise 5 stars for everything else - timeliness, professionalism, cleanliness of equipment …definitely would recommend her to future brides! Just stick with product you know works for your hair.

etting compliments all night! I was so relieved with how quickly she responded and continued to touch base with me throughout the planning process. Words cannot describe how awesome Alyse is!

our hair goals! For the quality of service, her skill set and Alyses down to earth personality alone she should be your top choice. If for some crazy reason you're still not convinced... Add in her absolutely MORE than fair and affordable pricing, and flexibility. She did my hair for my wedding as well my bridesmaids! We both loved the finished product! She is such a talented stylist my wedding was almost 3 years ago and she still does my hair!!!

t because I wasnt happy with what she did the first time (it looked great) but because she wasnt! She prides herself on what she does and wants her final product to be perfect. On the day of the wedding she arrived to the house we were getting ready at early and with everything she needed. She was able to do my hair and two of my bridesmaids hair with time to spare despite my bridezilla mental breakdown (which she handled beautifully). And just when you thought she couldn't be any more awesome she ended up following us to the church to do touch ups right before we walked down the aisle. When I found out some of my guest couldnt make it to the reception I ended up inviting her to the wedding because you never know when you might need another bobby pin or spritz of hairspray and because Alyse is a freaking blast! Hire her to be your wedding hair stylist, you wont regret it. As an added bonus Alyse is now my forever hairstylist because her cuts and colors cant be beat!

and so fast! She kept us on schedule, even with adding a few girls to the list. They were even willing to re-do my cousins hair a few times until we found a style we loved, and they touched up everyone's curles before they left, to make sure the hair lasted. The weather was incredibly windy that day, and their hairdos lasted for everyone, even after an outdoor ceremony and lots of outdoor, windy photos. They did such and amazing job!

ely cared about making sure everyone was 100% satisfied with their hair! She made sure during my hair trial, I was in love with the style. She was easy to contact with any and all questions I had regarding her services. Her bubbly personality definitely helped with my nervous on the wedding day! 100/10 😊

like it was easy work. I highly recommend booking with her!

eduling both the trial and the day-of hairstyling and she listened to all of our thoughts and feedback and really made our visions come to life. It was a hot day and our venue was super SUPER windy but the updo held up perfectly all day and night - I was really impressed. Alyse was also very kind and friendly and wonderful to work with and I can't recommend her highly enough!

end her!

oing. Would definitely recommend her for your hairstylist!

list, Alyse was more than willing to accommodate my request and did so with such excitement. Due to the distance of being an out-of-state bride and time constraints, I was unable to have a hair trial, but Alyse went above and beyond and practiced my requested hair style on other clients/hair models and sent me the pictures beforehand so I could see my idea come to life! She also met with my mother in town before my big day and my mom appreciated meeting Alyse in advance! She made my mother and I feel so beautiful on my wedding day! I absolutely loved how my hair turned out! We also appreciated that Alyse was willing to come to my parent's home to help us get ready for our very intimated ceremony! Her positive energy and enthusiastic spirit were such a breath of fresh air and much needed and appreciated on my big day! It has been quite the year for us all and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect hair artist for my special day than, Alyse! We can’t wait to work with her again for our big celebration next fall!

amazing. I would definitely 100% recommend.

s and my new sister-in-laws and everyone looked great. Once again everyone just showed her a picture of what they wanted and just like that she did it! Another awesome thing about Alyse is that she traveled to my home where we were all getting ready; making everything so much easier! Booking with her was super easy and communication was really good. I definitely recommend her!

dibly sweet and was very open to any styles and working with what each of us wanted-I wanted flowers in my hair and she was all on board for that and made my hair look beautiful; I received so many compliments. She was so kind and fun to have around, she even took pictures throughout the morning of us getting ready! My hair usually doesn't hold curls very well, but even with being in the wind for pictures and jumping up and down while dancing, I still had curls at the end of the night. Alyse was so responsive and flexible and was ahead of schedule the morning of. Highly recommend!

hey way she styled it made it look so full. I was also glad it stayed through a long day of festivities! Thank you Alyse for my up-do I would definitely recommend!

d for pictures. Booking with alyse was great and her promptness and professionalism was amazing. I would recommend her 100%.

y of my wedding she had everything organized and ready and to go. She managed to do my hair and my party of 6. I 100% recommend her for your wedding she is fabulous!
