Maggie Sottero dress I saw online that I loved, and once I tried it on, I knew it was the one. They were very patient with me as I tried on other styles just to be sure that was the one. I wanted to sleep on it, and went to another boutique to try on a few more to rule out other options. I purchased my dress from Rosalin’s about a week later, and they were very helpful during the whole process. I bought my veil there as well, and had my alterations done there also. The dress turned out beautiful! They have a huge selection of dresses, and I love the one I chose. I came here because a friend of mine got her gown here also. Can’t recommend enough!

ent for a new gown. Most stores were sympathetic, but said, "your daughter will need to pick a gown from our sample sale items". Rosalin's was different: They immediately said, "Come on in! We'll help you!" I was able to schedule an appointment 2 days later and when we arrived and told them what happened, Rosalin said, "Pick any gown in the store, we can replace our stock, but you can't order a new dress quickly enough." We were so happy! My daughter tried on several and found "THE ONE"! Not only did Rosalin's sell us the dress right there, but they gave us a sample discount and had their (very talented) alterations person come in the next day for an emergency fitting. They were so amazing, I can't say enough nice things about them! Go to Rosalin's Bridal Boutique if you need a wedding gown!!!

to try on in my actual size. I shared my Pinterest board in advance and they had 6 dresses ready to go for me. Each one fit me perfectly. She even pulled 3-4 more while I was there. All of which made me very confident I was picking the right dress for me. I am a street size 8-10, hourglass figure, and the size 10 bridal fit me great. Highly recommend this shop for getting a good sense of fit. This was the 3rd shop I went to and I found their options and price ranges to be very good, everything I liked under $2000 and I had multiple excellent choices. I’m so glad they had the dress I wanted and it was being discontinued there so I got a discount to buy the sample (Allure Bridals, though that will only last so long!). My favorite part was that this is a family run business, with mom, daughters and sister in law all working together. I love supporting a local business!

budgets. The in-house tailor, Che, is a magician!! Her work is flawless. My dress was ordered to my measurements and timely delivered I had lost a little weight so my dress required a lot of finish tailoring when it arrived. After she tailored it, you would have thought that it was handmade, custom for me. It was perfect.

hey showed me so many dresses that fit with it perfectly - and picked out a dress I never would have grabbed off the rack, but which was perfect and ended up being my wedding dress. The whole experience was very personalized and they made a point to make me feel at ease and excited the whole time. Highly recommend!

For started when I booked my appointment, it was very easy online and I liked that it told me that I would be the only one shopping for a dress at that time. It told me exactly how many guests I could bring. Next, I liked the Pinterest system they have. You can look at all the dresses they have available (posted to their interest board), pin the ones you like to your own board, and send your board to them on your appointment. Then they pull those dresses, or similar dresses, for you to try on ahead of your appointment to save time. The day of my dress shopping was a wonderful experience. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured to buy a certain dress. She let me try on the one I ended up buying multiple times, and she made sure there was time for photos of the dress options. She paused to ask questions of my friends and family and made sure my opinion was heard. At the end when I knew which dress I wanted she did a cute moment where she had me say yes to the dress. The little section to try on dresses is cute too. There's a doorway to separate your party from the rest of the shop making it feel like a private party, and there's a curtain for the bride giving me plenty of privacy. Purchasing the dress was seamless and she explained everything out clearly. Then they helped my whole group take cute pictures. I would 100% recommend shopping for a dress here, and if you find the right one for you I definitely recommend purchasing it here. Now... the alterations. So we reschedule for the next day. The next day I got another email asking to reschedule again. So we reschedule for 5 days later. But I am assured that everything will be done in time, even though my wedding is now two weeks away. Two days before this appointment I am asked to reschedule again. We finally have the appointment and everything is fine. The dress finally fits. It does slip down some though, instead of staying up where it should. And she showed me how to pull it back up properly. In hindsight, I should have figured out how to make sure it wouldn't slip down, because I spent WAY TOO MUCH time pulling it back up where it should be on my wedding day. And I definitely think for the price of alterations, this should have been something that was done. Everyone was very courteous about the rescheduling. But one would think after rescheduling my appointment three times and cutting it so close to my wedding, that I would be offered a discount on alterations. Nope. My dress: $1568 Alterations: $1075 Added Alterations: $100 I am not sure how much of this is normal and acceptable. Because they were so courteous I have decided to still leave 4 stars regardless of my alterations experiences. I will leave it up to you if you decide to go there for alterations, but I did not find the cost of alterations to be commensurate with my experience or resulting dress alterations, and therefore would not recommend alterations here.

I live out of state and Rosalin’s worked with me via emails and phone calls to get the dress purchased and shipped to me and it was seamless. I highly recommend shopping with Rosalin’s to any bride that is able to get to their VA location!

She ended up spending an extra 30m with us to help me finalize my decision and was just over the top helpful without being pushy. to book a reservation to try on dresses would be used towards your dress if you bought one. I unfortunately did like a dress that I bought. However, I was questioned and doubted about their website's wording about the booking fee. After showing them their own website, they apologized but would not give me $25 dollars off. It is the principal of it not the $25.

y're staff is incredibly nice! I also used their in house seamstress to alter my dress and she did an amazing job! She really knew what she was doing and made my dress fit perfectly! She even altered my moms veil that I will be wearing.

y dress with the wrong train style, which we didn’t realize until it arrived 6 months later. Their solution, due to time constraints, was to order a larger size that was in stock and they offered to do alterations for free. When that dress arrived, their in house seamstress said that she didn’t think the required alterations were possible. Thankfully when I took the dress to another seamstress they immediately knew how to alter it to my size, so everything worked out. I would still recommend the shop since I think my experience was a one time mistake, but I wouldn’t recommend their in house seamstress.

After we hurried through the dresses I selected, the sales ladies continued to bring back dresses that had features (neckline, beading, etc.) that I had clearly stated I was not interested in. At the end of the appointment, which ended right on time, they made some comments that made us feel like we had intruded on their lunchtime, even though the time we booked was one of the times offered through their website.

They already had several dresses pulled based on my Pinterest board, and then Rosario asked me what I liked/didn't like about each dress and continued to pull more dresses based on my preferences. She has a really great eye, finding one dress in particular that was absolutely stunning and something I wouldn't have picked to try on without her help. In addition to being kind, communicative, and supportive, she is excellent at making it easy to put on each dress as well as clipping the dresses so that you get a sense of what both the front and the back would look like in your size. I would definitely recommend Rosalin's!

ltiple gowns that fit my personality through the questionnaire they had me answer! Although, I was unable to make a decision the staff did not pressure me into any gowns. They provided information on each gown and helped me with my sizing so I can make a future decision. I did not feel pressured by them at all to make a decision during my hour appointment. They make you feel comfortable and help guide you through the process. I was extremely impressed by their expertise and friendliness. The atmosphere is warm and inviting!

In early spring during my 1st alterations appointment, I realized I didn't love the dress I got after all. My heart was still set on the one at Rosalin's. I booked an appointment in March and shared my story with Rosita. She made a miracle happen and contacted the designer(s) at Lotus Threads (an exclusive brand of an independent designer at Rosalin's!) and they got me my dress in just a couple weeks and even offered alteration services when everyone else was booked. There are many shops to choose from and many I visited in the DMV, but Rosalin's offered the best service and some of the most unique gowns. I'm grateful for Rosita and her daughters patience, kindness, and support! If you're in the DMV, don't end up with regrets - visit Rosalin's.

I was really nervous about bridal shopping because I am a size 14 and was worried about how the experience would be trying on samples that were 2-4 sizes too small but Rosita made me feel comfortable and struck the perfect balance of honesty and flattery. She also really knows her stuff on the bridal lines! My mom is a seamstress and was very impressed. Totally recommend checking them out! e I was 4-5 months away from my wedding day. I’m petite and thought I’d have an even more difficult time. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to find a great dress and was prepared to just settle for what was available off the rack. To my surprise, Mrs. Rosita found a couple of great options for me that were quick-ship dresses. This meant that I wouldn’t have to get it off the rack and it would be a dress that would ship quickly in time for my wedding day. I chose a dress I loved and really appreciated Mrs. Rosita’s help & guidance. During my dress alterations, I met Chi and she is absolutely incredible. She altered my dress to perfection and the end result of her work is amazing. Chi has an eye for all the little details and always asked how I felt throughout all my alteration appointments. She made sure I was always comfortable and offered great suggestions. Chi made sure I was happy about the changes made to the dress. I recently went to my last bridal alteration appointment and I was blown away by how much the dress looked & felt on me. I had a blast during the fitting and alterations with Chi. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and assures their happiness. I always looked forward to my appointments with Chi and a bit sad today was the last one. In the end, I was a very happy customer and soon-to-be bride. I highly recommend Rosalin’s Bridal Boutique! I can't wait to wear my dress on my wedding day. Thank you to all the staff there!

It was the wrong size (12), but all the helpers at Rosalin's were incredible helpful, patient and kind.  I ended up finding the same dress in an 8 at another store, and when I came back to try it on again with my aunt, I realized the minimal alterations of the same dress elsewhere made the most sense for me.  but I wanted to leave a review because everyone at Rosalin's made me feel welcomed, helped, and beautiful.  They even cut the price for me by ~$200.  I found the perfect dress in their boutique, and they gave me their full attention and generosity.  Thank you to everyone as Rosalin's!  My wedding date was so perfect and I am not happily married. :D

alterations. They made sure the dress fit exactly how I wanted. You could tell they enjoy what they do, and that they want to create a special experience for the bride and her guests. eedback on each dress, you could tell with every dress I tried on we were getting closer to the ONE. I Within 20 minutes we found it!!!! I was obsessed the moment I put it on. From there they were so helpful in telling me the process and trying on veils to see if that was something I wanted. The shop its self is cute and small, but it helped keep it intimate with myself and the three family members I brought with me. I also never felt uncomfortable as they gave me a robe to put on in between dresses (I went to a place previous that did not do this). Overall 10/10 so so so happy I found this shop and got my dress there!!!!
