Kimberly and her team at Rose Red & Lavender did a wonderful job on decorations and the chuppah for our wedding. They provided tasteful autumn decorations that enhanced the beauty of our big day, with seasonal flowers and gourds that our guests absolutely loved. After the event, many took home flowers from the centerpieces as a keepsake. We couldn't be happier to have gone with them as our florist.

I truly cannot thank Kimberly and her team enough for all the hard work they did making our wedding florals look stunning! We received so many compliments on them throughout and after the wedding. Kimberly listened to everything I wanted, took my ideas and made everything better than I could have imagined. Our Chuppa was out of a dream, the memorial bouquet was so classy, and my bouquet was better than I could have dreamed. She was so accommodating with last minute additions, and was overall so sweet and helpful! I cannot recommend Rose Red and Lavender enough!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding day florals! It was everything we hoped for and more! Simply stated, it was PERFECTION. Kimberly took my idea of an intimate, romantic fall wedding and made it come to life. I received so many compliments I lost track. We loved all of it and highly recommend working with her!

Kimberly is an extremely talented florist! She was so easy to work with and was able to perfectly bring my vision to life. On the day of my wedding, everything was delivered on time and was set up beautifully. I couldn't have been happier with her design.

Kimberley is a floral artist who works with her whole heart. I came to her with a limited budget, and she made our wedding venue sing with her gorgeous designs. Our initial phone consultation felt like a conversation with an old friend. She immediately got what vibe I was going for and surprised me with video and images of the flowers leading up to the big day. My entryway had budding branches, a gorgeous natural green garland above our fireplace altar, and each table was sprinkled with votives and florals designed around wooden lanterns. She really took care of me as a bride and made me feel special throughout the whole process. She provided a mood board after our conversation with images from my own Pinterest board and additional flowers that I'd never heard of but worked perfectly. We're still friends on Instagram! I adore her, please don't hesitate to work with her.

Kimberly was incredible throughout the whole process - from our first conversation together where we talked through what I was envisioning for the wedding all the way through the day of set up, where she and her team worked tirelessly to make sure everything was set up and I was happy with all of it before the ceremony. Highly recommend to all brides!!

after briefly chatting, kimberly understood exactly what we wanted : witchy interesting flowers meets the jungalow. my now husband’s boutonniere was the best looking i’ve ever seen. i loved my bouquet and the decorations were gorgeous. kimberly dealt with a colorful cast of characters during planning meetings gracefully. i 100% recommend kimberly. she also hooked me up with my wedding hair/makeup ! she was also kind to us after our wedding and gave us 3 of our decorations a week later with flowers inside as a gift ! so sweet !

All I can say is WOW! We had a fairly tight budget for flowers and Kimberly was able to pull it off BEAUTIFULLY! She designed beautiful arrangements and a chuppa fully taking into account my preferences. She also developed an absolutely stunning color scheme and choice of differently textured flowers. She was also a commensurate professional throughout the planning and set up process.

Kimberly was amazing to work with, I shared a mood board of what I wanted and she nailed the brief! Communication was super easy and everything was perfect & on time the day of the wedding. She has an amazing talent and I couldn't be happier :)

Working with Kimberly on my daughter’s winter wedding at the Brooklyn Winery exceeded our expectations! Providing the right ambiance and staying within budget were the two priorities and she gets 5 stars on both. Kimberly is professional, responsive and empathetic. We were unable to meet with her in person so everything was done by phone and email. Her approach with us was consultative all the way through. She asked the right probing questions to really understand what my daughter and her fiancé were hoping for both in mood and price and offered solutions that worked out perfectly. My daughter and I did not want to pick out the actual flowers...our expectation was she would used seasonal flowers in my daughter’s color scheme to create the romantic mood for the bouquets and the venue and what she delivered was absolutely outstanding! We got numerous compliments and our only disappointment was with travel plans we could not take them home to enjoy after the event! We would highly recommend Kimberly!

Kimberly and her staff from Red Rose and Lavender did an amazing job transforming the venue for our wedding. She listened to all of our requests and made the adjustments we asked for throughout the planning process. Both our ceremony and reception took place at the Metropolitan Building (in Long Island City, NYC), and so we required the space to be "flipped over" from the ceremony setup to the reception tables. We were extremely pleased with how well Kimberly met our needs and coordinated with the catering staff to ensure a smooth transition. Our guests raved to us about how beautiful the flower and candle arrangements were, and about how gorgeous the decorated huppah was for the ceremony. Her flower arrangements, bridal bouquets and boutonnieres were beautifully understated and natural compositions we couldn't be more pleased with. I would definitely recommend Kimberly to anyone looking for beautiful wedding decor.

Kimberly was able to read my mind when it came to my flowers. After the most brief conversation ever, she was able to describe to me exactly what I wanted - and the day of the wedding EVERYTHING was perfect. From the chuppah, to my bouquet, to the center pieces, everything was coordinated and beautiful. Her designs are creative, elegant and she was able to capture the "natural" feeling I asked her to bring into flowers for us. What a dream come true!

Kim at RR&L is truly a master of her craft. When I first sat down and met Kim for the first time, we talked a lot about what I wanted in our decor and flowers, and what kind of vibe I wanted our wedding to have. I showed her my Pinterest boards and she showed me the shop's boards and examples; looking back now, I didn't give her all that much to go on . . . And when my wedding day arrived, her creative genius and knowledge of her craft really shined through in every single aspect of what she produced for our wedding. Kim has a very unique process that may not be for everyone. If you really want to control the flowers/decor, and see preview set-ups and all of that nonsense, then Rose Red and Lavender may not be the best choice for you. But if you want insanely beautiful flowers, a warm and inviting environment at your wedding, and a person (and team) who are passionate and excited about what they do, then Kim and this shop are for you! Kim and her team created the most beautiful atmosphere for our wedding. First off, our bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres were perfect, and my bouquet was absolutely stunning (made from hydrangea, ranuculus, trick, succulents, garden roses, and anemones, for our fall wedding)! She also created a beautiful variety of small and large center pieces, vignettes of bittersweet vines and lemon leaves with candles in all our venue's enormous windows, and an amazing alter-scape for our actual wedding ceremony. The colors, textures, and style of flowers was exactly what I wanted and described to Kim, and everyone kept commenting on what a beautiful and warm space our wedding was in -- Not to mention, what a sweet and warm person Kim is herself! Highly recommend this florist if you're getting married in the NYC area!

Kimberly was very easy to work with and her flowers/arrangements were beautiful! I was looking for something unique and she was able to do exactly what I asked. My entire wedding was planned online and via telephone. I live in Austin, Texas and planned a wedding in NYC without meeting any vendors in person. As a bride, you are putting a lot of trust in others to make your day special. Rose Red & Lavender did not fail. I sent pictures of the look I wanted and I was sent mood boards based on my style. I showed up to the venue and the flowers were already in place and gorgeous! Highly recommend. If I lived in the area, i would have her arrangements in my home all year round!

We worked with Kimberly for our wedding this summer. She was extremely professional and easy to work with. She understood the vibe we were going for and really transformed the space beautifully. Prices are also reasonable. Highly recommend.

Kimberly did a great job with my wedding flowers. She took a crazy idea about a wedding theme that I had and managed to run with it--the only florist I spoke to who did. The end result was gorgeous and unique, and me and my guests were enchanted. My only warning is that sometimes she takes a while to answer emails, but that probably wouldn't have been an issue if I didn't HATE using the phone. Most of the time she was prompt with her answers, though. My philosophy with wedding vendors was to give them a few ideas and let them run with them (rather than micromanaging), and she really did. Also, the flowers were well-priced for this market, and she was willing to fill my venue with candles when I decided I wanted that a few weeks before.
