Alarie went completely above and beyond for our wedding day!! My husband and I aren’t huge flower people, so the amount of thought we put into them compared to the rest of the wedd...
ing was honestly pretty small. That being said, I truly believe that’s the best way we could have done it with Rosebay. I had a pretty broad idea of what I liked as far as color, but gave over most of the creative control for what kind of flowers and how many arrangements to Alarie. Seeing the tablescapes come together with her work was one of the best feelings! She took the one inspiration picture I had for flowers (that probably cost more than my entire wedding), and translated that vibe perfectly for our venue and budget. Our centerpieces are one of the things guests complemented the most after our day. Alarie is a such a kind, calm and warm presence to have around on your wedding day, and I felt so relaxed about everything floral throughout the whole wedding process. We can’t recommend her enough!
From the moment we began our journey with Rosebay Floral, we knew we had made the perfect choice for our wedding florist. Alarie Schimpff is not just a talented artist, she is also...
incredibly kind and a joy to work with. Alarie’s warm, attentive approach made us feel heard and valued throughout the planning process. She listened carefully to our ideas and dreams and transformed them into reality with her artistic flair.
At our wedding, she created the most whimsical, fall-inspired arrangements that perfectly captured the essence of the coast combined with the vibrant, seasonal colors we adore. Each arrangement was a creative masterpiece, full of unexpected pops of color and organically flowing shapes that seriously enhanced our gorgeous venue.
The florals were not just decorations; they were an integral part of setting the mood for our special day, bringing joy and beauty to every corner. Our guests were as enchanted as we were, with many commenting on the unique and breathtaking arrangements. (My grandfather especially loved that the fruit bowls were also edible! :))
Choosing Rosebay Floral was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Alarie’s dedication to her craft and her ability to deliver floral designs that truly embody the natural beauty and whimsy of a garden are remarkable. We are so grateful to have had her part of our wedding day and cannot recommend Rosebay Floral highly enough to anyone looking for genuinely spectacular floral designs that will leave a lasting impression. Thank you, Alarie for making our wedding truly unforgettable with your floral artistry and exceptional service!
We were totally scammed by this florist and I want to warn future brides of the greed and dishonesty we experienced.
Avoid this florist AT ALL COSTS!

t, I am beside myself at how unprofessional this team has handled the fact they completely botched our welcome party and wedding. I am devastated I trusted this team with such an important aspect of the wedding. Alarie is a lovely person, but a completely incompetent florist and business owner.
The only correct things were our dinner tables and the flowers going down the aisle. Everything else was wrong, including several areas missing florals such as cocktail tables.
On the day of, I (thankfully) was able to catch that the team had installed brown, completely dead and dried hydrangeas into our altar...Not pink, not white, not the pretty kind of dried hydrangeas - these were completely brown and dead. I was so unbelievably confused by this and my planner had to fight with her team to take them out. The florist was also instructed not to use any stringy flowers at the altar, and this was ignored. Unfortunately, I was not able to rescue the reception space from the dead flowers.
The contract states if they are unable to get the flowers agreed upon, they will work to get something close. What I received, especially before catching the use of DEAD flowers, was not close in terms of color or style.
Use anybody else, literally anybody else. This company is far too expensive to waste your money with, and there are other lovely florists in the Charleston area that provide much better service and communication.
Alarie was a dream to work with and her florals absolutely took our breath away on our wedding day! She took extra time to describe each floral arrangement approach and option and ...
beautifully brought my vision of an artful but sophisticated and timeless look to life. She even brought extra greenery which was so sweet. Highly recommend!!!

actly what we wanted for our wedding, but talking to Alarie made it easy to visualize and the end product was so beautiful. She was responsive and went above and beyond with little details, like creating arrangements specific for the urns at the church where we were getting married and creating arrangements for our rehearsal dinner. Our bridal flower arrangements were beautiful and we truly did not have a single worry when it came to the flowers. 10/10 recommend Rosebay Floral.

ll with the owner Alarie, I knew I had found the perfect match. Alarie is the sweetest, most creative soul and everything she creates is magic. She was such a great communicator throughout the whole planning process and I didn’t feel like a bother coming to her with my countless design questions. When she brought up my bouquet to me on the wedding day, I literally burst into tears of happiness because of how beautiful everything was and how excited I was for my florals. 10000/10 stars!

mportant aspects to me, and Alarie embraced our vision while utilizing her own skill and creativity to truly transform the venue. She is so remarkably talented, and I would recommend Rosebay to anyone! I especially liked her creative use of moss, some dried elements, and real fruit. Especially if you’re wanting someone who will do something unique, Rosebay has it!
My mouth dropped when I saw what Alarie created for my wedding. Everything from the bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, a greenery arch over the fireplace... it was all stunning!...
She took the simple vision I had and exceeded all expectations. Alarie was so fun to work with and so flexible with what we needed on the day of. Highly recommend!!!

ak more to her skillful artistry than my words ever could. After first speaking with her, she went out of her way to go to the venue and craft a floral proposal (she did that without me officially booking her!) From thereon out, she came up with the most dreamy and wonderful constellation of florals.
We were married in front of a fireplace and she created a dreamy, wildflower installation that Insta dreams are made of! She also utilized the beautiful light fixture in the middle of the room to stream jasmine vines and create the meadow vibe we were going for in our indoor space. Don't even get me started on how much I loved my bouquet... I carried it around with me all night because I couldn't let it go! My bridesmaids were obsessed with their bouquets and some kept them and were planning on preserving them. Alarie was a dream to work with and if you are on the fence, check out her Instagram, it is everything. She is professional, talented, and worth every penny. I couldn't come up with a negative if I tried! All the heart and heart-eyed emojis here!

e with her whimsical, colorful and creative floral arrangements.I had already booked a florist for my upcoming wedding before I had seen Alarie's work, so I continued to be a fan of Rosebay Floral from afar. Like so many others in 2020, our wedding ended up being postponed, and our original florist could no longer move to our date. I knew I had to see if Alarie was available. I was elated when she told me she had our date available, and she immediately scheduled a call to go over my vision for the day. Alarie makes the process SO easy, providing detailed pinterest vision boards, an incredibly beautiful custom quote and flexibility with cost. She has a unique gift in her ability to add so much detail and magic into her floral designs. Before hiring Alarie, florals were something I was honestly dreading because I did not know much and was worried they would be costly. Alarie is able to take your budget and vision and bring it to life! On top of all of this, she is genuinely one of the most kind hearted, sweet spirited humans I have ever worked with. Our wedding was 3.5 months ago and one of the main things I'm still receiving compliments on is the florals! I could not recommend Alarie and Rose Bay Floral Co. enough. Truly, if you want your wedding day to be filled with the utmost beauty guided by an incredibly gracious and thoughtful person, do not look any further! I wish I could be married all over again just to work with Alarie and her team.

r coffee later on when we were in town to show us the vibe she felt I was going for and it was spot on. Alarie’s floral touch just doesn’t compare to anything you’ve ever seen - it’s unique, eclectic, and stunning. Each and every single floral arrangement.
We decorated with plumes, a soft linen hanging in the trees, blue toned candle centerpieces accompanied with garland, soft greenery bridesmaid bouquets, deep blue boutonnières, a flower girl halo, and a sweet and spicy toned bridal bouquet. It was amazing.
I highly recommend working with Alarie - she’ll make your wedding dreams come true!!
