Katie acts as head chef and has been working in the food industry since the age of 11. Having a lifetime’s worth of experience working in restaurants all across the US, she remains innately inspired by New Orleanian cuisine. Ashley works alongside Katie, a seasoned hospitality professional. Her role consists of customer relations, sales, and accounting. Her business knowhow and Katie’s culinary creativity makes them a dynamic team, excited to bring their cooperative energy to your special day.

ry helpful with recommending venues, rental companies, officiants, you name it. Their menu sounded mouth watering! We came down for tours and a tasting in early February and the shrimp and grits was the best I ever had. My husband fell in love with her deviled eggs with jalapenos and bacon. We ended up having the wedding and reception in a private home Uptown that Chef Katie arranged. It was a real New Orleans experience! Because of covid she set up multiple stations for food with servers doling out the servings instead of everyone bunched together in a buffet line sharing serving spoons. My husband and I ate a private meal in the house before our first dance. Everything looked beautiful. All the vendors they recommended were top notch too. After the wedding all my guests went on and on about the food. I couldn't have done any of it without Rosemary and Roux. Highly recommend!

a staging area for the caterer AND it is an hour and a half drive from New Orleans. They brought a tent and set it away from the reception and even had basically a makeshift kitchen with them so all the food was hot and fresh. My coordinator told me they arrived 2 hours before the guests and she couldn't believe how quickly they got set up. They were passing hors d'oeuvres as the guests arrived and the buffet was already set so when it was time to eat all they did was open the chaffing dishes and remove covers. Their equipment was beautiful. They buffet tables were decorated, and the real show stopper was the table of cheese. It was by the bar and had a whole bunch of different cheese, meats, pickles, fruit, sauces, crackers, etc... All my guests loved it and were taking pictures. At the end of the night the servers helped us get all our gifts to the car and even helped the coordinator pick up decor. They were all super nice and the food BTW was absolutely DELICIOUS . All my guests keep raving about it. We chose the shrimp and grits as a main entree but we also had a carving station of prime rib. Hands down the best prime rib I ever had! Chef Katie packed us up leftovers and we ate it for breakfast. It was delicious even cold. I highly recommend this company!

The bartenders were the real starts of the night serving it up strong and keeping guests entertained (or going along with the guests antics) there was one or two hiccups about the bar menu not being exact however when I brought it up Chef Katie offered to comp the difference. I would absolutely recommenced them for anyone who wants to drink feast and be merry.

it. Cocktail hour went well with great passed appetizers and a beautiful cheese table. Unfortunately, they ran out of food before all my guests ate dinner (17 guests without dinner). I actually had fewer guests attend than I originally contracted them to feed and somehow the food still ran out before everyone had eaten. Chef Katie did try to mitigate the damage by going to the store and making sausage and salad for guests who hadn't eaten. Still, I would not recommend this company. They also provide plates and utensils, and for some reason only provided forks. We had pork tenderloin as one of our entrees and knives were not provided for guests. The company paid for the pizza we ordered for guests and gave us a partial refund, and throughout the ordeal they were kind and professional. Still far from ideal. For almost a decade's worth of catering experience, this was surprising and unacceptable. I was very disappointed.

lity of ingredients and attention to detail was top notch as well. I know that all of our guests left satisfied. We got so many comments at the reception about how good the food was. Chef Katie was great to work with. She was very responsive and was able to make a few accommodations with no problem. I would highly recommend Rosemary & Roux and I would use them again if I ever host another event!
