Roses and Rice

I am so obsessed with the florals from our wedding, I would 100% book them again if I had to do it all over again. Cathy listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations and stayed within budget.

We chose to work with Roses & Rice after seeing their portfolio but after meeting with Cathy, we knew we were in good hands based off her professionalism and creativity. After our consultation, we got so excited to see what she'd come up with. We had 18 different lanterns and asked Cathy and her team to come up with 18 wreaths to wrap around them and she blew us away with our centerpieces. She also created two gorgeous wreathes that hung on our altar, and I've kept one that hangs in my house. She also made beautiful garlands to accent some our pieces. She arrived on time and helped with the setup of our venue. I loved working with her and would highly recommend her.

My husband and I got married on 10/11/19 and we could not have been happier that we chose Roses and Rice as our florist. Before choosing Roses and Rice- we met with 5-6 different florists, some of which completely did not understand our vision and others that were outrageous in price. The first time I spoke with Cathy was via email. I sent a few inspiration pictures, and she loved my ideas. When we sat down to go over everything, she offered such great advice, and suggested different varieties of flowers to bring my copper/ boho vision to life. Everything she said was just so spot on with everything we wanted- greenery, copper, toffee and cappucino colors with splashes of navy and mustard- fall but not overly orange/ yellow. We wanted moody and messy and Cathy DELIVERED. When she delivered the bouquets the morning of my wedding I was so teary eyes. We got to the reception, and the aisle was lined with copper vases filled with pampas grass and our alter was half pampas grass and half greenery. It was a dream. Not only that- but our ceremony was originally set to be outside but due to the wind and temperature, we changed it to an indoor ceremony that morning. Last minute, Cathy was able to change our vision to an indoor arch and it was everything we'd dreamed of and more. It was so important for my husband and I to trust our vendors, and Cathy and Roses and Rice definitely had our trust from our first email. If you're looking for a florist who can see your vision, bring it to another level, and deliver, Roses and Rice is for you!

Beautiful flowers!!

We are SO happy with the beautiful arrangements Roses & Rice did for our wedding. We didn't have a huge floral budget to work with but Cathy was so flexible, patient and helpful in guiding us toward options we could afford. We met a couple of times, I showed her some photos and she just KNEW exactly what to do. I felt so comfortable just checking flowers off of my list and letting Cathy run with it. When our bouquets got delivered that morning... I was completely blown away and as the day went on, my expectations continued to be exceeded by what Cathy and her team were able to create for us. From the beginning, I knew I wouldn't have to think twice about it & that's invaluable to a bride with so much on her mind. True professionals with the knowledge and expertise you definitely want to invest in!

Cathy and her staff make the most wonderful arrangements around. She is very personal and is truly enjoys what she does. They are easy to get in touch with and are punctual about communication. I couldn't have been happier with the way all of the flowers and arrangements came out for our wedding.

Kathy from Roses & Rice is absolutely fantastic and I cannot recommend using Roses & Rice enough! Kathy took the time to help make my dream flowers and centerpieces even better than imagined. She thoughtful, creative and pays attention to every last detail. I couldn’t have picked a better florist who understood my vision perfectly!

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding in our backyard in Hampton Bays, and we hired Roses & Rice as our florist. We were beyond pleased with their service! Cathy and the crew at Roses & Rice were delightful to work with, professional and highly talented. I went to their shop to do a trial prior to the wedding, and Cathy came to our place for a site visit ahead of time. We rented their birch arch with flowers, as our "altar," and it simply turned out perfect. The centerpieces and shepherds hooks with wildflowers, Free Spirit roses and several other colorful flowers were stunning. My bouquet was absolute perfection!! I highly recommend Roses & Rice as a superb florist!

We could not have been happier that we used Roses and Rice as the florist for our wedding. Cathy was wonderful and met with us twice before the wedding to go over the details. They were able to provide the flowers for our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception. We were even able to reuse the wedding flowers the next day at our brunch. Every single bouquet, the flowers on the chuppah and on the seats and all the boutonnières were absolutely gorgeous. Cathy really listened to the look and colors we were going for. Not only did we get to appreciate them on the day of, but now we get to appreciate them in all of our photos!

Cathy and her team at Roses and Rice were absolutely fabulous to work with. They made the entire process very easy and were fun to work with on ideas for our flowers. The end result was gorgeous!!!! We could not have been happier and received endless compliments on how beautiful the flowers were at our wedding. Thank you!

Cathy and her team at Roses and Rice are amazing! My now husband and I were on a bit of a budget and she did an outstanding job on working with us to stay in that range while still giving us exactly what we had invisioned. When we spoke for the first time, I had sent her my Pinterest page to show her what I wanted. She was very up front and honest with me and immediately said that what I was seeing online was the top end of flowers. She showed me flowers that were similar to what I wanted, but in my price range. When she dropped off my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets on the day of my wedding, I was so overwhelmed by how she brought my vision to life. They were absolutely beautiful! She continued to wow me when I got to the venue and saw how she set up our tables. I had asked her to make eucalyptus garland with flowers throughout. She even put a huge piece together for our sweetheart table that tied together the garland theme and the look of my wedding bouquet. Her eye for detail is unbelievable! They were absolutely beautiful and really brought my whole wedding theme and decore together. I will definitely use roses and rice for all my flower needs, both big and small, in the future! As a plus, their shop in East Quogue is absolutely adorable! I would definitely recommend checking it out if you have the chance.

When you want to thank, congratulate, or show love for someone, you send them flowers. The morning after my wedding that is exactly what I felt like doing for Cathy and the team at Roses and Rice. We were referred to Roses and Rice by our venue, and could not have been more grateful for their recommendation. We met with Cathy and told her our colors, our style, and most importantly our budget. Cathy is a kind, fun, creative person who has years of experience and who was so easy to talk with, responsive to my questions and thoughts and occasional changes, and I knew that I could put my faith in her creative aesthetic. When she arrived at the hotel while I was getting ready to deliver (personally!) our bouquets, it was evident that she was so proud of the work she had done and even more proud to see my reaction). She also made a floral crown for me to wear, using a beaded halo I had purchased from BHLDN. It came out beautifully, even nicer than the pictures I had shown her. What's more, she threw in a bonus natural full flower crown for me to wear at my reception, as she knew that I really wanted one but couldn't decide. The centerpieces she put together were simple, beautiful arrangements in apothecary style jars, and added so perfectly to the rustic setting of our venue. I could go on and on but I will top it off by saying that Cathy and her team made our wedding so very beautiful, and did it all within our budget. I could not have been happier.

I absolutely recommend Roses and Rice! Aisa and the team were able to bring my vision to life better than I could have imagined. I shared my Pinterest board with them and that was all I needed to do. They were very responsive to my emails and questions, and were able to work with my budget so that I could afford everything I wanted. The flower arrangements and garlands they created for my wedding truly brought the space to life and I am so happy with how everything turned out.
