ney with small businesses, and the fact that Roseville Designs is a small, woman-owned business meant we were aligning our spending with our values.
We didn’t have a specific vision of what our stationery should look like and knew we’d want help creatively brainstorming our options. We didn’t want our invites to look like anyone else’s and we wanted them to really feel like us, while going with the theme of our wedding.
During our first meeting, Sandy described herself as our “Wedding Paper Planner,” meaning she would not only provide us with the design and physical product, but she would also help us stay on track with our timeline and provide thoughtful guidance about wording, instructions to guests, etc. We were surprised at how many factors there were to consider when doing things like addressing people using the correct titles, ways to word dress code or other expectations, even down to the instructions you give to the post office when mailing the invitations. It’s a relief to not always feel the pressure of getting those things right or having to Google the information when we had Sandy as the expert to guide us.
Sandy persistently kept us on track while patiently navigating our requests for revisions and new ideas, and was very transparent about cost-related decisions, so we always felt like we were making informed choices. We knew we wanted the stationery to be something that people actually wanted to put on their fridge, and we knew that it set the tone for the celebration for our guests, but we didn’t want to feel like we had to go overboard with spending in order to set that tone. In helping us make the most impactful decisions for our budget, we were still able to make responsible choices while always including a wow-factor for our guests. Our Save-the-Dates arrived in a purple glitter envelope that everyone could not stop talking about, which was so fun for us! Feeling the guests’ excitement added to our excitement. Even though our wedding is over, we’ve noticed both our Save-the-Date and invitation are still on a lot of our friends’ fridges!
When you’re planning a wedding, it’s easy to fall into the trap of assuming that you’ll be able to do it yourself or that online cheaper tools might be easier or faster, but there’s so much to think about. When you think about each choice on its own, they may seem DIY-able, but when you start putting everything together, it can get overwhelming without support. No amount of internet stationery checklists and tools can replace the talent and support of a professional like Sandy. We are so happy we worked with her for our wedding!

ay we had a very difficult experience working with her. We found a number of profound errors in her work that could have been easily caught on a quick skim. For example, Sandy used the find & replace function to replace the "CA" state abbreviation to the state name. This resulted in every "Ca" becoming "California" - Carly became "Californiarly" and Jessica became "JessiCalifornia." She used the wrong color font in our mockups and removed the time of our event in one round of invitation revisions. She also failed to include the 2nd line of addresses for those guests who required them on our envelopes.
During the process, Sandy asked us for the same information (e.g., design selections) multiple times even though we had already answered via email months prior. She also ran behind the schedule she provided though we were able to meet our timeline for our event.
In fairness, to compensate for some of these errors, she offered us complementary ribbons.
It was never clear to us why we had so many challenges given the rave reviews. It's possible she was overbooked last year or had other things going on. No explanation was given. Unfortunately, we cannot in good conscience recommend her to other couples.

When I was starting the wedding stationery process, I was completely overwhelmed and unsure of the exact vision & direction I wanted to go in. I knew a few things that I liked and didn’t like, but I did not have an any concrete ideas of what I wanted my wedding stationery to look like. I stumbled across Roseville Designs on Instagram and immediately loved the style, vibe, and quality of Sandy’s work. Within the first 30 seconds of the introduction call with Sandy, I knew we had found what we were looking for & that we were in the best, most capable, and talented hands with Sandy. She immediately understood the route we were looking to go in from the likes/dislikes I did share with her and was able to help finetune the vision & come up with so many creative, amazing concepts for us to develop together. She truly is an amazing artist & leader and offered so much creative assistance & vision throughout every step of the process that you just cannot get at a normal print shop.
All of Sandy’s work is so valuable, but what makes her really standout above the rest is her dedication to her clients & craft. She immediately set helpful timelines for the entire wedding invitation & day-of stationery process, which she helped us stick to throughout the entire process keeping us on track every single day. I had so much trust & faith in Sandy throughout the entire process. In the stress and chaos of wedding planning, she was the one vendor I always knew I never had to worry about & would always deliver above and beyond. Her timing, responsiveness, and collaboration is like no other. She was always the one reaching out to me keeping us on track, and if I ever sent her an email with a question or feedback she always responded almost immediately. I know Sandy must have so many clients that she is juggling and balancing all at once, but she truly made me feel so special & cared for like I was her only client. In all aspects of working together I could tell how much Sandy genuinely cared about our project & wanting to make it perfect in every single way from start to finish (which she did!).
If anyone is on the fence about working with Sandy at Roseville Designs, I would say that working with Sandy was one of the absolute BEST, most valuable, and most rewarding decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. I am honestly so sad the wedding is over now & to not be working with Sandy anymore because she made the process so fun, enjoyable, and easy. Not only is she such a talented, hardworking, and dedicated stationer, but she is an incredible person and just a joy to work with. You will NOT REGRET going with Roseville Designs & I will continue telling everyone & anyone I know about how amazing Sandy is – I could go on all day about it. Roseville is absolutely worth every single penny and more. All our guests could not stop raving & commenting on all the Roseville designs and details. She created an invitation suite along with fun details like custom match boxes for our cigar bar, cocktail napkins and tags for our favors. The end result was a beautiful cohesive look that brought the whole feel of the wedding together beautifully.
