Susan and Rosewood Productions were fantastic! I inquired with Rosewood Productions for my wedding florals, letting them know my budget and very vague ideas, and Susan promptly responded confirming that she could work within my financial constraints and we set up a time to chat on the phone to talk about details. I didn’t have a super clear vision about what I wanted in terms of color-scheme or volume, but I knew I wanted a basket bouquet. We shared a few inspo photos back and forth, and I mean it when I say she executed my vision perfectly, and created a spread of large arrangements and bud vases that tied together beautifully.
Susan and I did not meet in person before the wedding day, and were not in touch a whole lot in the lead up either. But I can say that every exchange we shared was pleasant and productive. In our initial call she mentioned that the exact flowers used would depend on what was in season and specific weather conditions this year. I later let her know that if the blue flowers that we talked about using were not available, I would prefer adding more green leafy pieces than opting for dyed blues and she was very receptive to that feedback. She arrived promptly on the wedding afternoon to set up, stayed through our ceremony to help rearrange some items when it was time for dinner, and returned at the end of the night to load out. I trusted her to do her thing and she really delivered. I’m so grateful and would recommend her and her team to anyone who is comfortable being relatively hands-off and wonderfully satisfied on the day of their event. With that said, I also felt very taken care of and had no hesitation to get in touch when necessary.

Rosewood Productions have much experience developing gorgeous floral installations for weddings in restaurants, gardens, and grand event spaces. Offering detailed consultations, Susan is happy to go over your unique vision and can provide take-home samples to streamline decision-making. The team will then get to work crafting bouquets, centerpieces, aisle decor, and any other array of tasteful arrangements you desire. She went above and beyond what we could've imagined and we couldn’t believe how beautiful everything looked when we walked into the space for the first time. Susan took our vision and executed it perfectly. We received countless compliments from guests about how beautiful the arrangements were, and we loved the way that Susan was able to incorporate the different colors and textures that we were looking for with all of the floral arrangements! The flowers were also all of the highest quality. We were still able to enjoy the flowers that we took home from our wedding after we got back from our honeymoon :). After one phone call and a few inspiration photos, Susan was able to absolutely capture the vibe and vision we were hoping for. Susan responded quickly to emails and was willing to tweak aspects of the proposal up until the week of the wedding. We really appreciated Susan’s flexibility and her suggestions for how to repurpose arrangements so as to stay within our budget. All of our guests complemented the florals, as did everyone who viewed our photos. We met Susan briefly for the first time at the wedding as we were getting our photos taken. She and her assistant quietly navigated the space moving the floral arrangements and cleaning up. She was incredibly gracious and unassuming. Additionally, Susan provided sound advice regarding using particular candles, arrangements and which flowers were in season - which was super helpful since it ended up being unseasonably hot the day of my wedding and all of the flowers lasted the entire day! Since she was so great to work with, I also got her to arrange a few last minute vases for my rehearsal dinner which was a completely different aesthetic. Susan did a wonderful job and I cannot thank her enough.

It was also important to us to find as many of our vendors as we could in our neighborhood of Greenpoint so we were happy that her studio was nearby! During the whole process, she was very responsive and easy to work with and she delivered the flowers on time the day of. All of the pieces she delivered were exactly what I was hoping for and more - everything looked so beautiful!! She used flowers from the season in the general color scheme I asked for. Overall, I would definitely say I had a positive experience and would recommend her to any bride.

Working with Susan was an absolute delight from the very beginning. As someone who knows next to nothing about flowers but had managed to assemble a few inspirational images, Susan proved to be a true floral wizard, asking all the right questions and getting to the heart of my preferences. Susan's insightful question, "Is the type of flower or the colors more important to you?" was a game-changer.
Bonus points that she is also Brooklyn-based and truly understands the Brooklyn/NYC couple. Plus, we both share an immense love for our fur babies.

questions about our preferences for specific flowers (what we liked and didn’t like) and the broader themes that we wanted to reflect our vision for the aesthetic, to complement the rest of our decorations and apparel. When the flowers arrived the morning of our wedding, it was clear how carefully Susan had listened to our input, because they truly reflected our style so beautifully. They had the perfect balance of greenery and flowers (as we had requested) and they were sophisticated bouquets without being too formal (we wanted the right amount of “disheveled”, and Susan hit the mark beautifully!). I would highly recommend Susan to anyone looking for someone who will take the time to learn what you want from your florals and who is nimble in her approach to make your vision a reality.

wedding and did not need too much but she never made me feel like less of a client. She sent me examples of arrangements she had done that fit the season and style we had discussed and also sent a list of flowers in season for my wedding date. I found a beautiful wild flower bouquet she had done that I loved with many different colors. I showed her a mural at the venue that I loved the colors from and asked her stay in that color family and give me something with that wild flower look. I also mentioned my loved for dahlias which she managed to squeeze into our arrangements. She really did an amazing job. She readily adapted to some last minute changes to my order and was extremely responsive the entire time. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend Rosewood Productions. Check out her Instagram for some beautiful examples of her work...that was a big deciding factor for me.

ing and she instantly grasped the style we were going for. Her florals were romantic and natural, with unique bohemian details — nothing cookie cutter at all.
She was so flexible and understanding throughout our many postponements from our original date in May 2020 until our eventual wedding in September 2021. She let us know which flowers would no longer be in season and found beautiful alternatives that worked within our original budget.
We chose bud vases for the reception tables in order to stick within our budget and accommodate the family-style food platters. I had been nervous that they wouldn't have enough presence on the tables, but they looked amazing and eye-catching, with interesting details and lots of variance between the vases. We wouldn't change anything even if we could have!
The ceremony arch she installed at the Wythe Hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Susan also supplied vases to repurpose the bouquets as decor in the reception space. Everything was more beautiful than we could have imagined. We highly recommend hiring Susan for your wedding!

This quick response rate continued once we’d hired her, which certainly put me at ease in the weeks leading up to my wedding. My budget for flowers wasn’t huge, but Susan easily worked within it, suggesting lots of options for how flowers could go. Along the way, Susan really listened to what I was hoping for with my flowers, both in terms of color and style of arrangements. She drew inspiration from my Pinterest flower board and also added in other blooms and greenery that she knew would go with the color palate - whites, greens, and pale pinks. She used a wide variety of flowers and greens across the vases, which made them especially interesting to look at. On the day of our wedding, Susan made it easy for my mom to pick up the bouquet and boutonniere earlier in the day so that we could use them for photos, even sending along a vase so that I could store the bouquet whenever I wasn’t using it for photos. When we showed up at the venue, the flowers were beautifully displayed, well-balanced across the tables and bar areas. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. And, at the end of the night, I loved sending guests home with arrangements and bringing some home myself to enjoy. We ended up pressing some of the flowers so that we can remember the beautiful flowers Susan provided for us for years to come. Thank you, Susan, for all your care and attention to detail!

The bouquet's for myself and the bridal party was exactly how I envisioned. So many people told me on the day of, I wouldn't even notice my flower arrangements at the venue but that really was not the case. I noticed them at the venue immediately as I walked in and was so beyond happy. The flowers with the candles and string lights made the room look so elegant and romantic. Susan did a fabulous job and I would highly recommend her.

was really considerate at working within our budget. We had a couple of conversations with Susan and she was able to put together bouquets, boutonnieres, table arrangements with votive candles and ceremony arrangements with candle holders lining the aisle exactly how we had envisioned while never pushing us to go beyond what we had budgeted. She was also flexible and was even able to accommodate some last minute requests for extra greenery for tables and a flower girl basket days before the event. Thanks Susan for everything and for being a part of our day!

or very beautifully. She is very responsive to queries and accommodating regarding last minutes orders and pick-up/ drop-off schedule. Susan went with light pink and green color scheme and it turned out to be totally stunning. I initially decided to go with rosewood production because I was feeling very resistant to spend a bomb on flowers and after contacting many florists, she was the only one nice enough to work around my budget. I would 100% recommend Susan for your next event.

someone I could trust with the ceremony and reception decorations. Susan was easy to communicate with and she was flexible throughout the planning process. I initially showed her my preferred style and she captured all ideas perfectly. Leading up to the big day, I even made some last minute changes, and she listened to every detail I had in mind.
I still remember the moment I walked into the wedding venue and noticed Susan and her staff preparing the ceremony arrangements. I was in awe with how the ceremony arrangement looked and how beautiful the table decorations were. Each element that she incorporated blended with the venue and look I imagined, and each was a statement piece. ry straightforward with pricing, unlike most other florists who will tell you they need to play around with numbers before they give you a proposal, and then they give you an overall number without being clear about the breakdown of it. Susan is also very easy to work with because, several times, we made adjustments--even just a week before the wedding--but she was so flexible, understanding, and kind. Throughout the year-long process, Susan responded to our emails within 24 hours, and she met with us in person when needed. On the day of our wedding, she was on time, and the flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS. We got so many compliments on them. I truly could not ask for a better florist. I recommend Susan with the deepest sincerity and enthusiasm.

We held our wedding last weekend and the flowers Susan provided were so stunning. She created our bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, table and cake table arrangements, chair wreaths...
and even a hair piece for me at the last minute. Everyone complimented on how unique and beautiful the flowers were - my uncle, who is a landscape architect, said they were the most beautiful wedding arrangements he had ever seen. Susan is definitely a master of using the proper mix of grasses and flowers to create stunning arrangements. I had specific colors and a wildflower-esque look in mind, but I left the rest to her and her creativity and I'm so glad I did! I would recommend using her services to anyone - she was friendly, talented, quick to reply and above all a pleasure to work with. I'll never forget walking into my reception and seeing my vision turned into reality!

. Isn't her all of my inspiration photos, and even when that changed a couple of times she was right on top if it. I admit it, I'm picky, and obsessed with the details. The flowers were GORGEOUS...beyond. This woman's work has style, class, and an artistic quality that it seems like even few established florists even have.
