Rosie's Creative Cakes

Rosie is a genius! If I could only choose a handful of words to describe her: talented, creative, mind-reader, delightful, fun…when I came across Rosie’s profile in TheKnot, I was blown away by the photos of her palette knife flower designs and when Brian and I drove to a cake tasting, she proved to not only be an incredible baker but a lovely person, as well. My husband and I have already discussed reaching out to her for any and every event requiring a cake (or even just a Monday! Haha).

Rosie was such a delight to work with, and our cake was truly stunning. My husband and I got so many compliments on the design, and Rosie was instrumental in collaborating on the vision. She also allowed us to mix flavors with the different tiers, which made it feel even more like our cake was a mix of our tastes and personalities. Delicious cake, delicious experience!

We are so happy with the beautiful and delicious wedding cake Rosie created for our day! From the first consultation / tasting to the final product, Rosie exceeded all our expectations. Rosie took my vision and brought it to life. Not only was the cake exactly how I imagined but it was incredibly delicious. So many of our guests told us how good it was and the leftovers the next day were just as yummy! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a more perfect centerpiece for our celebration.

Rosie's cakes are as delicious as they are beautiful! We loved doing the tasting and she was so easy to work with as far as picking flavors and cake design. She even packs up an anniversary cake for you! Couldn't recommend Rosie enough!

Rosie was so great to work with, and delivered exactly what I requested. Be sure to take advantage of her cake samples. We stopped by when we were in the area (out of state wedding) and picked up samples to-go by appointment. We were able to try several flavors of cake, fillings, and frosting to help make our selections. Choosing a design was a simple and collaborative process. She has lots of great example cake photos for inspiration, and she combined two of her designs into one by my request. The cake at my ceremony was moist, delicious, and the anniversary cake to freeze had clear instructions and just as nicely decorated as my actual wedding cake! It was the perfect size based on my guest count, and I had just enough to take home and enjoy the week after the wedding. I would highly recommend Rosie's Creative Cakes for anyone getting married in the Manheim area!

Our wedding cake was amazing! We chose mocha chip with the kahlua buttercream filling and it was to die for. This was one of the things I looked forward most to, and it did not disappoint! Such a beautiful cake and easy process from tastings to delivery. I would highly recommend!

I cannot rave more about Rosie and the fantastic, beautiful job she did on our cake! We walked into our reception area and were STUNNED by the pipe work and the incredible detail of our cake. It was exactly what we wanted. The cake itself was the best we've had in our life and we had many guests share our opinion. Not to mention that Rosie was an absolute joy to work with. She is truly a master of her craft. I'll be getting cakes from her for every occasion!!

From our first discussions with Rosie, to our tasting, to our wedding day, Rosie was so wonderful to work with and she brought my dream cake to life! Rosie made us such a beautiful and delicious cake! When we met with her and discussed design she was able to weave in all of the elements as well as tie in my wedding dress features to make it extra special. We went with a raspberry swirl cake with lemon curd filling and a bridal white cake with raspberry white chocolate filling. We received many compliments and had leftover cake to enjoy for almost a week! We can’t wait for our anniversary cake.

Rosie was lovely to work with and the cake she made for us was stunning. We had a winter wedding and we wanted to incorporate a few different designs into the cake. With her talent and creative mind she was able to capture what we wanted, with both sweater and birch tree elements. Beyond looking amazing, the two flavors chose were delicious! The cake was a huge hit with our guests and we heard excellent feedback. From the start, Rosie was great. We were in the York area and had just finished a cake tasting from a different vendor and reached out to Rosie last minute to see if we could squeeze in another tasting before we left. She answered at a location she was delivering a wedding cake to and let me know that she had some samples that she could prepare for us to take home and try. We met up with her later in the day to grab the samples. They were delicious and after a call with her to discuss some ideas and cost, we chose Rosie to make the cake. We did two flavors for the cake. One flavor was a chocolate mocha chip cake with kahlua buttercream and a chocolate ganache. The other was a raspberry swirl cake with a strawberry and vanilla cream. Both were delicious and we still have people telling us how much they enjoyed the cake flavors months after the wedding (can’t beat hearing that your wedding cake was so much better than other weddings). Rosie tried a design she had not created previously and really made something beautiful. The York/Lancaster area is very lucky to have several talented bakers, Rosie standing out among them.

INCREDIBLE! The cake was so gorgeous and our guests absolutely loved it. I love having a traditional wedding cake to cut and this far exceeded our expectations. She followed exactly what we wanted and we couldn’t be happier!

Rosie went way above and beyond and made my photo inspiration come to life! Our cake was more gorgeous than I could have expected and exactly what I was hoping for! I was SO ecstatic the day of the wedding when I saw it. We had so many compliments not only on the aesthetics but how amazing it tasted. Where do I even begin? Rosie made our experience with picking our wedding cake absolutely easy, stress free, and fun! She is a miracle worker when it comes to cakes! You tell her your vision, and she will deliver it without a doubt! I’m so thankful with how easy the process was, especially going into the appointment not able to express what my vision was, and she made it work and our wedding cake turned out absolutely stunning and more than I could ever imagine! All our wedding guests loved the look of the cake, but they loved the taste even more! It was so delicious! Im not sure if I’ll be able to wait for our 1 year anniversary to eat the topper! Lol. I can’t wait for years to come when we have a vowel renewal because she is definitely going to be our cake creator for that event! Thank you so much Rosie, I can’t express my gratitude enough!

Rosie's Creative Cakes was the easiest vendor that you could ask for. We did a taste testing (OMG each one was delicious) and then discussed the design of our cake. Using photos from Pinterest of a few cakes we liked. She sat with us and designed the cake of our dream right in front of us. Rosie was the sweetest person and got back to us very quickly when we had a venue change at the last minute and she was on top of it immediately. The cake was gorgeous and the anniversary cake to put away is just as perfect.

My wife and I chose to renew our vows at the PA Renaissance Faire and we contacted Rosie to make our cake for the event. We loved the choices available for the decoration and design and there were so many options for the cake and filling. We decided to go with a Raspberry Swirl cake and a Black Raspberry Chambord filling and it was out of this world! We had so many people telling us how delicious the cake was after it was served. The buttercream icing was so smooth and she even got the colors to match the original bridesmaid dresses that were used at our wedding 10 years ago. She was so helpful, polite, and professional in every contact we had with her and I would highly recommend her services for any wedding.

My husband and I loved the wedding cake Rosie made for us! It was gorgeous and delicious and we would absolutely work with her again! Also, she very nicely gave us a box with instructions to take home the top tier of our cake for our 1 year anniversary! We are looking forward to that already!

Rosies creative cakes was an AMAZING choice for our wedding. We had a variety of sweets available at our dessert table but our guests could not stop complimenting the cake- strawberry champagne was our favorite. Rosie was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding cake! We got the opportunity to taste her cakes at a bridal event, and knew we had to have her for our special day. The process was smooth and easy, with so many flavor profiles to choose from, it was hard for us to choose! The cake was delivered on time, was gorgeous, and we cannot wait to have our 1 year cake dreaming of our favorite day. Rosie allowed us to rent a beautiful cake stand, and gave us great advice on how much cake we were to need as to not be wasteful but ensure everyone got to taste! Could not recommend her enough!

Rosie has done mine and my sisters' birthday cakes since we were little. It only felt right to have her do my wedding cake as well. We did a tasting which was super fun and allowed us to figure out the flavor combination that we wanted. Rosie was easy to work with and we absolutely LOVED our cake. We got the pink lemonade cake with strawberry and lemon custard for the top and a pink champagne with strawberry cake for the bottom. SO GOOD. Would recommend her for any event!

We were thrilled with our wedding cake from Rosie! She was so helpful in the planning process and was very flexible if we wanted to add or change something. The cake was BEAUTIFUL and tasted delicious! We had two different flavors and the guests loved both of them! We couldn't have asked for a better cake!

We booked Rosie for our wedding cake, and we are so glad that we did! We wanted a simple two-tier cake. Oh my word. It was to die for! The booking process was so simple. We did opt for an at-home tasting due to covid, but it was still so much fun! We will be ordering from her again!

Rosie is absolutely amazing!! I was so happy with how the cake turned out. Got right back to me when I would message, she is very sweet just like her cakes :) Everyone loved the cakes. We took leftovers to our house and suddenly everyone came to visit to eat some cake!

Rosie was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. She was extremely responsive, easy to work with, and truly went above and beyond. Rosie’s Creative Cakes provided us with not only an amazing and beautiful wedding cake, but it was absolutely delicious! We ordered additional cake at our tasting because we knew our guests wouldn’t be able to resist seconds. There were so many choices of cake flavors, mousses and icings to choose from that the tasting was not only fun but necessary. We settled on tiers of lemon raspberry and chocolate mocha chip. The fruit layer was so bright and moist while the chocolate was dark and dense (exactly how I like my chocolate). Our cake had piped rosettes, gold foil and handmade sugar flowers and we loved it. I have to add that although the cake was stunning and everything I had envisioned, Rosie’s customer service was an extra layer of an exceptional experience. We unfortunately lost our anniversary-top-layer in our freezer after losing power and Rosie graciously made the time, during the October high season, to bake us a replacement layer as well as one to hold us over. She also recreated a sugar flower which we saved in a shadow box. Rosie truly is a kind and caring person who is talented and creative. She was a breeze to work with, and we can’t recommend her enough! Not only is she a very sweet person, but her work as a baker and cake designer speaks for itself!

We booked Rosie's Creative Cakes as part of a wedding package that we had, and I am so glad that we had her. Her cake was PHANOMINAL. It was everything we could have hoped and dreamed it would be. She made the process as easy as can be and had wonderful options. The cake tasted fantastic and looked even better than it tasted. We are so thrilled with what she created and whole heartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a cake.

Rosie was great to work with from start to finish! We had a hard time picking the right flavor, but she helped us narrow it down and even did a custom mix to make sure we got what we wanted. The cake turned out beautiful, and looked exactly like the design we had come up with during our consultation. Most importantly the cake was delicious. I've been to a lot of weddings and it is rare that people rave about the cake, but all of our guests made sure to tell us how good it was.

I would like to say Rosie is an amazing baker, her cake was the most beautiful cake I’ve seen for our wedding and it was such a big hit!! We had a mix of white wedding cake w/ raspberry and a red velvet Oreo and they were AMAZING. Our three tiered naked cake was so tasty and beautiful, I can’t wait to enjoy this tasty snack on our anniversary!! Please use Rosie if in the Lancaster area she was fantastic!!!

I had Rosie’s cakes at a wedding before and then a few years later ran into her at a bridal expo after I got engaged. Trying her delicious cake all over again at the expo solidified my decision in choosing her to make our wedding cake. So many flavors to choose from plus fillings too! Rosie was very responsive through emails. She allowed us to rent one of her many cake stands as well which matched our theme perfectly. Can’t wait to try our top tier on our anniversary! Rosie was great to work with. We had a hard time deciding what flavor to pick for our wedding cause they all were amazing! We ended up picking 3 flavors. The cake was BEAUTIFUL and tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend her and her cakes for any wedding needs!
