He had a scheduled itinerary for a couple of zoom meetings that would take place through out the year. And on top of that, he would remind us about these meetings a few days prior; for those of you wedding planning, you understand how hectic your schedule can become in an instant. So it was nice to have somebody on top of us to make sure we were completing necessary tasks on time. On top of that, Ryan was very flexible to any last minute changes that may partake for your special day as well. Truly couldn’t be happier with his work. Finally, he was totally up front from the get go about his pricing! There were no hidden fee’s at all when we paid everything in total. If we could give Roslyn Films 100 stars / 10, we would. I promise you, you will not regret hiring Ryan for any of your events!

uld tell that he really puts his best foot forward with each project he takes on and approaches each with a unique, artistic eye rather than churning out cookie-cutter carbon copies of wedding videos, which I think a lot of other companies do. He was also never rushed when talking to us. We didn't want too many photographers/videographers walking around during our wedding, so it was appealing to us that Ryan was going to film as a one-man operation (and let me tell you, you wouldn't realize it, because he set up another camera in addition to what he was filming from another perspective). My husband and I opted to get the raw footage from our wedding and Ryan mailed it on a hard drive to us, which was great because we didn't have to get it on a hard drive ourselves (one less thing to do!). Ryan was also such a pleasure to work with on a personal level. He is a really genuine, down-to-earth person and was attentive to all of our wishes for the day and wanted to make sure he was keeping in mind any preferences we had for the video before he started creating it. We will absolutely keep Ryan in mind for any future filming, and I have recommended him to several of my friends getting married soon. It's been fun following his budding music career (as 24th And Haven) after the wedding. His music is beautiful and calming and really captures the feel of his wedding videos.

never gets old. The film is so romantic and emotional, that I end up crying all over again every time I watch it. Everyone who has seen it raves about how it plays like a movie and truly makes you feel all of the emotions of the day, even if you weren't physically there. Leading up to the day, Ryan was super responsive to all of my emails and requests. He is so attentive to detail and honestly, everything he does is perfection! He is extremely organized and understanding. He worked with me when I had to change my date due to COVID and made rescheduling a breeze. He is beyond amazing at what he does and I recommend him wholeheartedly. I also loved our initial call where we discussed what we wanted out of our video and how to make it personal to us. Ryan is so talented and creative, and the reason I ended up going with him was because of his ability to make each wedding video he does truly unique to each couple. On the day of our wedding he was also awesome. We barley even knew he was there, but he managed to capture everything! He also worked so well with our other vendors and made my husband and I feel at ease. When we got our final video back and I sent it to our bridal party, so many of them told me they watched it multiple times and that they loved how Ryan captured the day. was hard enough planning a wedding during the pandemic especially with so much uncertainty. But, Ryan was incredibly empathetic through the entire process especially when we thought we may need to reschedule our date. By offering back updates and being super responsive and accommodating, it made planning our wedding a lot less stressful. ady had two photographers and were a bit intimidated by adding giant fancy video cameras and microphones (which ended up not being giant or scary) to the mix, BUT gosh we are so glad we did! Due to the pandemic, we made the tough and very emotional decision to cancel our wedding and elope. Even though our family could not be with us during our special day we still wanted to include them and make them feel like they were there with us, so our photographers (Jes and Chris from Hand and Arrow Photography) recommended Ryan and we are so thankful they did! With only a 3 weeks’ notice, Ryan agreed to come along for the ride during our adventure winter elopement in Luray, VA/Shenandoah National Park! From the first phone call Ryan was so friendly, professional, and ready to ensure he captures your day the way you envision it! On our elopement day (to our surprise) Ryan’s camera was not intimidating at all and we did not even notice the tiny microphones during the ceremony! He made us feel so comfortable in front of the video camera and he worked so well will with our photographers! On our elopement day when things did not go as planned (due to an ice storm and the road to our elopement location being closed), Ryan kept a positive attitude and ensured that we still got all the shots we were hoping for. When we got our completed film…wow we got all the feels and were absolutely speechless. It truly made us feel like we were reliving our day. Ryan’s work is genuinely breathtaking. His film was such a gift to our families, and that alone is priceless. We are SO thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Ryan and we are so grateful to have had him part of our crazy adventure elopement story!!

ven want a videographer for the wedding to begin with!! We (and yes, this includes my husband) are so happy to have booked him and have no regrets whatsoever. We are just thrilled with how everything turned out. I was definitely on the pickier side when we were looking for a videographer. What we love about his work is his style and ability to tell love stories with a seemingly natural ease. Every video is sweet, thoughtful, accompanied by the most gorgeous of music selections. We contacted him and he was quick to get back to us and we spent a good hour on the phone getting to know how everything worked. His packages were very simple to understand and knew exactly what we were getting. Throughout the whole process, he was very patient and easy to work with, and he checked in with us periodically. After three location moves and two date changes due to covid, Ryan still remained flexible and easy going. We chatted a few weeks before the actual day of the wedding to smooth out final details and to understand what our vision was. Ultimately we left a lot of artistic decisions to him as he is the expert! On the actual day, Ryan arrived promptly and worked seamlessly with our other vendors (read: photographers, even though they had never worked together before). He was there for every moment - there was so much footage in the end product that we didn’t even realize he had captured! He was that inconspicuous while working, but managed to forever capture these moments. We received our video quicker than expected, and were shocked and amazed after receiving our final product. We still get so emotional watching it and reliving it. He was always quick to respond to things and sent a few "checking in emails" throughout the time leading up to the wedding. (We had a long engagement and were booked with him for 2 years before our big day; he never left us feeling forgotten in that time). He called us the week of the wedding to chat about the details of the day and even asked for our input about the things that we wanted highlighted in our feature film so that it was personal to us.
