About this vendor
We're Rosy & Shaun, a husband-and-wife wedding photography team based in Detroit.
For more than 14 years, we've photographed over 400 weddings together, and it's always the two of us behind the cameras—never associate photographers. Every photograph you see on our website was taken by us, and we're the same team who will be there on your wedding day.
Our goal is simple: create photographs that bring you right back to how your wedding day felt.
We believe the best wedding photographs happen when you're fully present. During portraits, we'll guide you with prompts and direction so you never have to wonder what to do, while keeping everything feeling natural and connected. Then, throughout the rest of the day, we'll quietly step back and document the moments as they naturally unfold.
Having two photographers means more than simply having extra cameras. While one of us is photographing you getting ready, the other may be documenting your partner's morning. During cocktail hour, one of us might be capturing conversations with family while the other photographs your reception space before it fills with guests. Together, we're able to tell a more complete story and preserve so many of the moments that would otherwise be missed.
By the time your wedding arrives, we hope we feel less like vendors and more like familiar faces—helping you stay relaxed, comfortable, and present so you can truly enjoy your day.
Most couples tell us they're a little nervous about being photographed. That's completely normal. We'll confidently take the lead when it's helpful and then step back when it's not, creating a collection filled with genuine moments and timeless portraits that still feel like you.
We photograph one wedding per date, so every couple receives our full attention from the first conversation through the final gallery.
Our collections begin at $4,000, with our most popular collection including an engagement session.
If you're looking for photographers who will help you feel comfortable, blend into the celebration when the moments matter most, and create photographs you'll still connect with decades from now, we'd love to hear about your plans.

Rosy and Shaun are the best wedding photographers in all of Metro Detroit. You can tell from the very first call how much they love what they do and how invested they are in provid...
ing the best service for their couples.
They were so easy to work with throughout the planning process and were readily available to answer any questions we had leading up to the wedding.
On our wedding day, they were so kind and professional and allowed us to take our time capturing photos so we didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed. We were so impressed at the candid photos they captured, showing so much emotion in the room that we didn't get to witness ourselves. We will treasure the photos Rosy and Shaun took of our wedding for the rest of our lives.
My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Rosy and Shaun for our engagement photo shoot in October 2024 and then on our wedding day in May 2025. From our initial conversations...
, Rosy and Shaun made us feel at ease. They were responsive, gave great ideas while respecting our desires, and balanced professionalism with a friendly comfort. During our engagement photo shoot, they sprung into action, capturing unique shots, both still and action, while making us feel and look relaxed- they even let our cat and dog tag along and be part of our photos :) Fast forward to our wedding day, and we truly could not have asked for better photographers. They went the extra mile to make sure we felt cared for, going beyond their duties as photographers to help with wardrobe final touches and act as bag carriers. They seemingly blended into our guests, yet were never more than an arms length away when we wanted to snag a specific picture. Their supportive and calm demeanor never wavered and they handled family photo coordination with poise and grace. Every photo we received was wonderful- perfectly vibrant and authentic. Rosy and Shaun were true to the anticipated timeline for final photos, offering the high-quality pictures- in both color and B&W- in a method that made them easy to save and download. They have such a talent for capturing intimate, genuine moments that express the day’s events. Throughout our interactions with Rosy and Shaun, they were punctual, warm-hearted, inclusive, and crafted our engagement and wedding day experiences into pictures that encapsulate memories, feelings, and moments that we feel like we can relive time after time.
Pictures from our wedding were very important for us going into the planning process. Choosing someone that we got along with and understand how to capture the special moments acro...
ss both Indian and American components of our wedding was critical.
Our experience with Rosy and Shaun blew all of our expectations out of the water. They were amazing across: the planning process, the wedding days, and the quality of the pictures.
During the planning process Rosy and Shaun met with us multiple times before so we could cover our schedule and even helped us identify optimal times within our schedule to fit in quality picture time with our loved ones.
Rosy and Shaun were unbelievable during our wedding weekend. They arrived at every event early to capture shots of the decorations and guests entering into each event. They were a calming presence throughout the weekend, adjusting their plans whenever needed. Their ability to understand and capture the key moments of our Indian and American events was amazing. There’s an instance that my dad still remembers where Rosy knowing that she shouldn’t wear shoes on the Indian Ceremonial Mandap slipped out of her shoe, put her foot on the Mandap, got the shot that she wanted, and then slipped back into her shoe. This understanding of the culture while not sacrificing the dedication to her craft was amazing to see.
And finally the pictures we received from the wedding really took us back to our special weekend. The quality and speed of their delivery is invaluable.
Thank you Rosy and Shaun for making our weekend so special. We’d recommend them to anyone looking for photographers that want a calming presence during their wedding that provide the highest quality photos.
Rosy and Shaun are the best! They were incredibly easy to work with and captured our wedding this past October beautifully. We were recommended them by a friend and have since pass...
ed on that recommendation on to many more friends! They gracefully accommodated our request for Shaun to capture my husband's photos getting ready and Rosy to capture my photos getting ready, making it so much easier to coordinate rather than having only one photographer traveling to different locations during the wedding day. Having both of them also allowed us to get more photos of our event from different angles. We were blown away by the photos Rosy and Shaun delivered, and our friends and family love them too. We highly recommend Rosy and Shaun!!
We are beyond grateful that Rosy and Shaun photographed our engagement and wedding! From the moment we met them, they made us feel so comfortable. They helped us pose, adjusted our...
gown/tux as needed, and truly captured every moment perfectly (candid and staged). Rosy and Shaun were so patient throughout the day, making sure that we got in every shot we desired, and even tending to our 2.5 year old niece! The photographs speak for themselves; they're all so stunning! It will genuingely be hard to decide which pictures to frame, since they're all so incredible. Do not hesitate to have Rosy and Shaun capture your special day.

made the entire experience feel relaxed and fun. The way they captured the big moments as well as the candid shots in-between is incredible. Our family and friends are still raving about how beautiful the photos turned out. Shaun kept the guys laughing the whole time and they all said it was like he was part of the crew! Their photos perfectly captured the joy and love of our day, and we couldn’t recommend Rosy and Shaun enough!

new just how to capture the best pictures of us. On our wedding day they started off with getting pictures while we were getting ready and got so many candid shots. They were also so helpful in organizing our families and friends for pictures. When it came to coordinating all the pictures at our three locations, their expertise was on full display as they got the best shots of us in front of Michigan Central Station, Parker’s Alley and Ford Field. They also went above and beyond expectations by being willing to learn how to help me put in my veil. If you are looking for professional photography for your wedding Rosy and Shaun are an excellent choice and will give you peace of mind while they capture your special day!

humans as well. Neither my husband nor I are comfortable in front of the camera, but Rosy and Shaun made us feel comfortable and at ease with each pose and shot taken. They kept us on schedule on our wedding day and knew where the best photos would be taken in and outside of our venue. They helped make our wedding day fun and stress-free. The photos came back better than we could have imagined and are thrilled we’ll have these to look back on for a lifetime! Thank you, Rosy and Shaun!

Rosy and Shaun not only captured my husband and I but all of our loved ones and countless candid photos! We cannot recommend Rosy and Shaun more for wedding photography.
Rosy and Shaun were our photographers for our wedding in August 2024 and we could not be more happy with our choice for photographers on our special day!! Both Rosy and Shaun were ...
exceptional to work with. They made myself and my wife so comfortable even though we are normally uncomfortable in front of the camera. They brought such positivity to our day, were amazing at directing us for poses and unique shots, and we knew we did not have to worry about them getting memorable candid pictures while we enjoyed our day. They found the perfect spots for pictures inside our venue and outside in the city of our venue. We immediately knew they had the best expertise and experience. Once we got our photos back we were even more ecstatic with our choice in Rosy and Shaun as our photographers!! The photos came back phenomenal, spectacular, and better than we could have imagined!! Thank you Rosy and Shaun!!
Rosy and Shaun were the absolute dream team for our wedding! They were a must for us and we would have literally changed our wedding date if they had not been available for our day...
, so definitely book them early! We had them for our engagement shoot which was a perfect way to get to know them before the wedding and every single picture is spectacular. Their photography style is absolutely gorgeous and they did a great job capturing everything from our quite lengthy shot list as well as all the candid moments we really wanted to see! We had a very colorful and vibrant wedding that was a bit unconventional but they did a perfect job capturing it exactly the way we wanted and imagined! So many guests and people who have seen our pictures on social media have told us that our wedding photos are the best they have EVER seen, and the credit all goes to Rosy and Shaun! We will absolutely be cherishing these pictures forever!
Rosy & Shaun are the wedding photography duo your dreams!!! They are personable, professional, and absolute perfection. I must be honest though, they were a wedding selection made ...
by my husband. He loved the idea of having a couple photograph our wedding. He felt like Shaun was one of the guys by the end of the day and felt completely comfortable. I too found comfort in Rosy, she felt like an old friend. They completed captured our vision. Classic, timeless, and elegance. They are easy to get in touch with and FAST! Our engagement photos were done within a week and our wedding photos within one month, I was shocked! We couldn't recommend them enough!!!

As for the photos themselves - I could not have wished for more beautiful and special photos. I was very particular when choosing a photographer and wanting something timeless and authentic with no weird filters or editing. Rosy & Shaun's style was just that. They really captured our day in such a unique way, and the photos are stunning - so full of life and joy.
I couldn't recommend this dream team enough - we love you Rosy & Shaun! 10/5 stars from us.

professional, talented, and artistic, but they become your friends and truly care about you and their work. On the morning of our wedding, Shaun and Rosy showed up early at our two separate locations, had backup equipment, brought vintage stamps and had other decor that we didn’t even think of. They helped make our day extraordinary and went above and beyond. Rosy even helped me get into my wedding dress and bustle it, handed me tissues, and helped fix my makeup throughout the day. She was like a big sister. They were so organized, kept us on time, put us at ease, and helped us have the best ceremony and party of our lives! We even got our sneak peak wedding photos back in a flash and our digital wedding album back promptly. I wouldn’t want any other photographers by our side during the entire wedding process. Thank you again! Love, Katrina and Sean Ryan

heir pictures are so timeless, and focused on the couple, without feeling overposed. They are very down to earth and work very efficiently. Rosy and Shaun work like 2 pieces of a puzzle, making the day feel super easy for me and my husband. We felt like we could act very naturally, and those poses that didn't feel as natural they were able to show us. We had a large wedding party of 26 and things moved swiftly while still having a stunning final product. We had a lot of comments from our wedding party about how fast and easy the pictures were. Last but not least, if you're reading this get the extra hour!! Rosy and Shaun captured a lot of our guests on the dance floor and my dress change as well. Those became some of our favorite pictures from the day, we felt like we were reliving those times looking through those pictures. We can't thank them enough!

Taking pictures can be overwhelming for the bride and groom but they made it enjoyable and it is nice that they are husband and wife because they can example the poses to make sure they get the best shots. hey have been incredibly responsive, organized, and easy to coordinate with. Sometimes posing for photos can feel unnatural, but that was never the case with R&S - we felt super comfortable and had so much fun throughout the process! The photos from both sessions were absolutely stunning and timeless. R&S do such an amazing job at not only capturing all of the big moments, but also the little details and fun “behind the scenes” moments that we would otherwise have not have seen. R&S also do a great job of managing your “shot list” and helping you stay on schedule for the evening. They make an incredible team and are such fun, kind, talented people. Thank you for capturing the most beautiful photos that we will cherish forever!

e for these couple shoots. He finds that with Rosy and Shaun being a couple and with them demonstrating the pose super easy to follow . Knowing that we came out of town to Detroit for the engagement shoot, they were also super understanding and tried to work with us despite the weather. On the wedding day, Rosy was providing an extra hand when I needed it the most. She captured all the best moments of our families and guests. All our families were super pleased with R&S (and they were not easy to be pleased...) If I have future celebration, I'll definitely ask them to be our photographers again!

They're also incredibly easy to work with, and make the whole process very comfortable and fun; it was a blast having them around for our wedding day, and we absolutely loved the final product as well. ike the cool kids of wedding photographers, anything but basic. My wedding photos tell the story of our day better than I could have imaginged. Somehow they managed to capture absolutely everything, which is no small feat with so much happening. I completley poured myself into every aspect of wedding planning (even with a professional wedding plannner) but when it came to the photos I knew I could trust Rosy & Shaun to execute my vision & I left it all to them. They chose amazing locations, gave clear direct on how to pose our bodies & faces, and even helped us get dressed more than once during the event. All while not only being uber professionals, but kind & fun as well. My partner & I both struggle with anxiety & let me tell you there is no pressure like getting ready on this day! Rosy & Shaun arrived and immiediatly set us at ease with their calming pressence & we got you attitude. I could not be more pleased with the overall experience of working with them & the quality of their work. I will be forever grateful to them for being such a positive part of one of the most precious days of my life. Our photos are perfect & such treasures to have forever. They are seriously like angels with cameras.

orever. We wanted a photographer that was fun and personable, had a good eye for those candid moments and brought our photos to life with rich colors. Rosy and Shaun hit all of the marks!
The first time we met Rosy and Shaun was for our engagement shoot. It can be awkward getting in front of a camera, in public, around strangers - but something about their energy had us feeling at ease almost immediately. They are just really cool people who are passionate about what they do. They shared our love for Detroit and had no problem getting creative to capture our vision of grit, nature and beauty.
On our wedding day there were a few moments from working with Rosy and Shaun that really meant a lot. Rosy spent a lot of time with us in the bridal suite and got along with our other vendors like they were best friends, it was the coolest thing to see. She also stepped in to help my bridesmaids with little things like buttoning my dress or fixing my veil. That’s where her experience as a bridal photographer really stepped up - not only for she take amazing photos, get along with other vendors, she knows the little tips and tricks to help everything run more smoothly.
The last thing I want to mention, they were excited for us and you could feel how excited they were to capture every moment. We found a unique place to take our bridal party photos and I felt like we could’ve spent all day shooting with them. They had so many ideas and every time we thought we got it all they had something else they wanted to try, it was so fun! And they helped us close out the night by taking a final set of photos, against the skyline, as the sun was setting after I put on my reception dress. Those final photos really wrapped up the emotion and energy from the entire day.
Michael and I have a gorgeous set of wedding photos that we look at every single day. Every moment from getting ready, our first look, photos with our bridal party and family, the ceremony, our venue, toasts and dancing - it’s all there and we couldn’t be more grateful to have had Rosy and Shaun by our side to capture it all! I can’t say enough about them. Thank you!!

antly feel comfortable! My now husband and I are not people who know how to pose and we are definitely camera shy, but Rosy and Shaun felt like family by the end of our wedding day. They somehow captured every single beautiful, emotional, authentic moment, and also helped pose and direct us for other photos too! Not only are they full of creative ideas for engagement and wedding photos, but Rosy also saved my bustle when none of my bridesmaids could figure out how to pin it! Our friends and family have told us so many times that they are the best wedding pictures they've seen - we couldn't agree more!! If we got to do it all over, we would truly choose them again!!

Rosy and Shaun were an absolute dream to work with on our wedding day! If we’re being technical, we should say, “wedding days,” since we had four consecutive days of events. Rosy a...
nd Shaun covered each of these events with tons of energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism! They put together a custom package that enabled us to work within our budget and capture every special moment.
Leading up to our wedding, Rosy and Shaun were great to work with and impressed us with their professionalism and experience. They were fair, thoughtful, responsive, flexible, and respectful of our time. Our planning and communication with Rosy and Shaun was straight to the point and concise which we appreciated given our busy work schedules, limited time to plan, and many other wedding to dos.
Throughout our wedding days, Rosy and Shaun kept us on schedule – which was no easy feat. We had a huge wedding party (18 friends, plus our large families!), but they kept us in line and on time – all while making sure we still had fun and weren’t stressed! They did the work of a wedding planner and we are so grateful for that – especially with all the moving parts and events! They went above and beyond what we hired them to do, were enjoyable to be around, were incredibly professional and were so FUN to work with!
Rosy and Shaun were also on top of their game! They surprised us at our reception with photos taken from the days before and they gave us sneak peak photos within ten days of our wedding events – such a wonderful surprise while we were on our honeymoon!! Not only were they incredibly fast with their delivery of our photos – the quality of their work was AMAZING! Every person we show our photos to comments on the skill of the photographers. Rosy and Shaun captured every important moment, family member, friend, tradition in way that makes us emotional every time we look at our wedding photos!
Of all our wedding expenses, Rosy and Shaun topped our list of money well spent on a vendor! Their talent cannot be matched. Do yourself a favor and hire them now! You will not regret it!
