It was a pleasure working with Jon and Mandy for my wedding in Gilman MN. They are very familiar with the area, and knew all the perfect spots for beautiful photos. The two of them make a great pair of photographers and were calm and patient with all my guests, and with me! Jon was with us for most of the day, taking pictures before the ceremony, during, and after, until almost the end of the reception. He captured all the family and friend shots we needed, and we were left with plenty of time for imaginative, artistic, and romantic shots as well. I didn't realize how in love with the pictures I would be until I saw them, Jon is a very talented photographer, and we will treasure the photos forever. I loved that the photos do not look staged or fake- he created gorgeous images that capture the beauty of our location and the excitement and romance of our wedding day. Jon was totally dedicated to getting great pictures! After the wedding day, he did a beautiful job editing the photos. Jon also worked with me to make additional changes to a few photos. I was so grateful for his willingness to put in additional work to alter a few photos for me. Jon and Mandy’s patience, professionalism, skill, and artistic eye were all deeply appreciated. We had a nontraditional zombie wedding on Halloween so we shopped for a photographer that could work outside of the box. Their website showcased a number of different shoots with amazing creativity and individualized photos that made each wedding unique. We finally found in Jon and Mandy photographers that could face our challenging wedding head on and add to our overall experience. They not only worked with us extensively as the couple, they also visited the venue with us and helped us to determine the best setups and lighting. The engagement photos they took for us included a zombie fight scene; they were able to fully capture our crazy idea while keeping the overall look classy and beautiful. We are so happy with these photos!!!!!

We used Rotella Photography for our engagement photos and we were blown away by the quality of service we received! The owners were fun to work with and made both of us feel really comfortable (which is saying something, because I rarely take a good picture!) Mandy worked with us and really made an effort to try to get to know us as a couple, while Jon, the seemingly serious head photographer, is always looking for that shot; the perfect picture you never thought possible. We were unable to use them for our wedding (they were already booked that day!) but we have used them for family pictures and will recommend them to anyone that will listen. Thanks again for such amazing photos!

Rotella photography has been the ones to capture all of our major life event photos. From the birth of our son to his first birthday party and yearly family photos thereafter which have all been beyond our expectations. When we got engaged we had no doubt in our minds that we wanted Jon and Mandy to capture our "big day". Our engagement photos surpassed what I had in mind! It was very cold outside that day and the photos dont look like we were freezing at all! Rotella Photography is very detail oriented and really took their time-despite the cold weather- to make sure they had the perfect shot(s). Our wedding isnt until 10-3-15 but I can honestly say im sure they will go above and beyond -as always, and we will be very satisfied.
