Get your wedding festivities started with great beers and good times at Roughhouse Brewing, a brewery and event venue in San Marcos, TX, for rehearsal dinners, showers, and other nuptial occasions. Owners Davy and Alex have always strived to build a closer connection to their land and community. So with a toolbox in one hand and big dreams in the other, they got to work and finally established their brewery in 2019. Today, Roughhouse warmly welcomes couples from all across the country, hoping to celebrate with friends, family, and fresh beverages.
Situated on a 50-acre ranch, Roughhouse Brewing hosts parties of up to 200 guests. Its many event spaces are the very essence of a traditional taproom, too, bringing you an authentic experience as you wine, dine, and dance the night away. The Loft, an attic-style room illuminated by a crystal chandelier, is ideal for intimate gatherings, hosting up to 40 party-goers at its classic farm tables. For events beneath the Texas starlight, the venue's two open-air, wood-built cabanas accommodate up to 60 guests. Larger receptions can take place at the old rustic brewery, home to the Roughhouse Kitchen, where your beloved can enjoy the very best of homemade beer and Tex-Mex barbecue.
From furniture to decor, beer and wine to in-house catering, Roughhouse Brewing provides everything you need for an event to remember. This space is also kid and pet-friendly, allowing all your loved ones to join in as you bring on a brand-new chapter.

ning she was so nice and accommodating. We booked the upstairs loft for our 45 guests, and it fit us all perfectly. It overlooked the actual brewing room which was so cool! We had their inhouse catering of pulled pork and brisket sliders. They served it with mac and cheese and coleslaw and it was amazing! We had a lot of out of towners in from Virginia, so we really wanted to give them some good Texas BBQ, and we definitely did! Everyone LOVED the food! It was the perfect, relaxed, atmosphere that we wanted! The beer is amazing, and because they serve wine and other drinks, everyone had something to choose from! After our event was over, we went outside and enjoyed the scenery and firepits. It was such a beautiful place! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this brewery to anyone!

wedding as "shop local" as possible, this is a great venue for that. We had planned the whole wedding outdoors, and when it rained the day-of we had to change the whole plan - they were super accommodating towards that, very flexible and worked with our event planners to make it happen. We got tons of compliments on the food (careful you'll have to stop your family from over-serving themselves because it's so good!) and of course the beer is top notch. I love that we got to pick which beers we had on our limited menu (not only for cost control but for a more special feel, they printed beer menus just for the occasion which we're totally getting framed). Service was great, good was great, venue owners are great - there is nothing not to love!!!

Roughhouse has a catering menu that is affordable. They let you bring your own desserts. The whole event was casual, relaxed and so much fun! There's plenty to do for the kiddos as well! I feel that's a huge perk. I can't thank Naz and her team enough for how great they were to us! Our party was everything we hoped for and will be a forever memory. I 10/10 recommend having an event here or just stopping by for a delicious beer.
