We provide on-location services at many venues in the Alexandria area and will travel to other areas in Minnesota. We offer both hair and makeup services, though our clients may choose one or both to suit their needs. Services are customized to each individual with thoughtful consideration of their vision. We guarantee early arrival, professional service, and lots of smiles!

Megan was great she understood my soft glam wishes for day of make up. During my trial, I thought my foundation was too light and that was fixed for my day of makeup. She was friendly and kind. She explained each part of the process to me since I’m not one who wears makeup all the time. She gave me a cute little goody bag with touch-up supplies when she was done which was so helpful to have to touch up before my ceremony.

Since reaching out to Meghan at Rowan Beauty, I felt very confident that I made a great choice for my wedding day. She was super responsive, answered a lot of my questions, and was a great guide along the way. I had a super small wedding so I wasn't even thinking of doing a trial, but when Meghan asked if we should plan one, I thought that was a really good idea (especially since I was coming from out of state). The trial went amazing and I was super pleased with both my hair and make-up. After the trial, I had emailed Meghan just a few minor tweaks I wanted to do for the real day and she did not take offense to my changes and was very sweet and supportive of whatever I envisioned. She also was able to fit in my sister-in-law for a blowout the day of the wedding as well, which was very kind of her and flexible. The day of my wedding went really smoothly and Meghan made the adjustments I had requested for hair and makeup perfectly. I looked soooo beautiful and felt very confident. I would go back to Meghan in a heartbeat for any hair or makeup needs. Not only was she very talented in her craft, but she was so easy and pleasant to talk to, it made the time fly by!

Meghan was such a sweet person to work with! She provided makeup service to me and my bridal party whom all felt so confident and truly ourselves the day of my wedding! 6 women who hardly ever wear any make up that just wanted “a little something extra” without it being too much. Meghan listened, nailed it and gave us a natural look that had us all glowing and feeling so beautiful. She understood how important it was to me to stay looking as “natural” as possible and ran with it! I had SO many compliments! Thank you Meghan! You are truly the best!

Beauty by Rowan provided hair and makeup services for my wedding on June 1, 2024 at Adler Ranch. When I had my trial with Meghan I let her know how important it was to me to have natural looking makeup. As a redhead I have had a few bad experiences getting my makeup done. My hair and makeup was stunning and lasted all day. On the wedding day Meghan was so supportive to me and made me feel stunning. My bridal party looked beautiful as well. I got many compliments from guests.

I would highly recommend Meghan and her team. She did an amazing job on everyones hair, she made sure we had enough time for the girls that needed hair to be done and made sure everyone was happy with how it turned out. She is very prompt and allots enough time for the trial ahead of the date. She is amazing!
