Working with Rowan Beauty on my wedding day was absolutely amazing! We had Kyrie, Sally, Emily, and Mandy for hair & makeup. They were on time, friendly people, professional but also fun! They did a great job of getting everyone (14 people) ready for the wedding in just 4 hours. I'm so glad I chose them for this crucial role on my big day.

Working with Shelby and her team was a great experience! From the trial run to the wedding day, communication was smooth & easy. Amanda was my artist and she has such a positive vibe which was super comforting. She made me look & feel like a princess! As someone who finds it hard for their hair to hold curls, Amanda made sure to take the steps needed that helped my hair stay curly all night. I am so pleased with my services from Rowan. All of the stylists were extremely kind and accommodating. Everyone's hard and make up looks beautiful. Even when my spray tan has a tiny tiny spot that was missed, she drove all the way to my apartment to help me correct it. I am more than happy with everything!!

There was great communication before for scheduling everyone, and we finished with plenty of time before pictures! She was so fun to work with and everyone felt beautiful. My hair lasted through the whole reception, dancing and all!

Shelby and her team were absolutely amazing on my wedding day. There were a handful of us ladies who got our hair and makeup done- they got everyone done in a timely manner and everyone loved their final looks! I also cannot say enough positive things about Shelby. She is so kind and talented!

I was beyond pleased with Rowan Beauty’s work on our wedding makeup. I prefer a more natural look. Most days I usually wear just mascara and lip balm, and I definitely get squeamish having others do my make up because at times I have wound up looking like a Vegas act. The most important thing for me was that when I looked in the mirror, I saw me. And that is exactly what Shelby provided. She listened to what I wanted and was able to create a gorgeous, natural look for all of us. My mother is even more squeamish than I am about having others do her makeup. At one point my Mother felt her makeup was looking too matte. Shelby listened to her concerns and was able to give her exactly what she wanted. All of us felt like beautiful, glowing versions of ourselves. I highly recommend Rowan Beauty for makeup!

Shelby and her team did such an amazing job with my bridesmaids and myself! She was easy to work with and quick to respond as well! Her team was flexible with everyone’s requests and had plenty of time for touch ups! She made us all look natural and beautiful! I never felt or looked better afterwards with Shelby!

Shelby and her team were a dream to work with. I have natural hair and was more than a little anxious about how my hair could be styled with hair accessories and a veil on my wedding day. Shelby worked with me and my hair and also purchased several items/products to make sure I was completely satisfied with my hair. It turned out beautiful and stayed beautiful until the end! She also did my makeup while another team member did makeup for my bridesmaids. Each of us looked amazing and makeup also stayed looking amazing all night long! Due to horrific traffic I was a little late arriving to the venue but Shelby was there on time and waited patiently while I ran around for a few minutes after getting there. Throughout hair, accessories, makeup application, and bronzing she remained calm and laser focused. Even though I was late she finished a little early!! I truly appreciate Shelby and her team for making a stressful day just a little less stressful. I felt and looked like a queen once done and couldn’t wait to say “I Do!” Thanks Rowan Beauty!

But was so helpful with the whole planning process from the engagement photoshoot, hair make up trials, spray tanning, and day of looks. Shelby is amazing! A kind spirit and really good at what she does. I found her after working with another artist who just couldn’t understand my vibe — natural glam. Well, Shelby nailed it during the trial — and wedding day — she was there again when I ended up reshooting engagement portraits because the makeup the first time was that bad — and she’s so good that I hired her for corporate headshots….nailing it every time and for every style. Shelby was absolutely wonderful, I truly couldn't have hoped for more. From booking, to the trial, to the day of, she was kind, prompt, and professional. So many of the vendors I reached out to either didn't answer after multiple tries, or were exceedingly expensive. Shelby got back to me the same day and for the incredible work she does, the price was VERY reasonable (the most affordable of the vendors I called too). We had a total of 12 services for the day of my wedding. Shelby brought along an additional artist, and they worked like a well-oiled machine-- the results were beautiful! I know my bridesmaids felt and looked stunning. But my favorite thing about Shelby is that her work *captured who I am*. I felt more fully ME rather than not recognizing myself. I can't recommend her enough!

Shelby was amazing! She was punctual, very friendly and was able to make us beautiful for my daughter's wedding, without being able to do a trial session prior to the big day. Shelby worked with me getting this all arranged since we live about 5 hours south of Dallas & now had to travel even further north to Denton for the wedding. She was very professional but also laid back enough to deal with our kind of crazy. Our make up was flawless. I have had make-up done in the past and it was all terrible. This was the first time it made me actually look younger and feel pretty. The bride looked beautiful and she felt beautiful. Shelby worked with the design she wanted for her hair and it turned out stunning. I honestly could not be happier and so grateful I found Shelby @ Rowan Beauty and booked her months in advance. Shelby made my hair/makeup perfect for my big day! She includes a consultation in her package which was perfect because I ended up changing my hair and makeup choice some for wedding look. I literally showed her a picture of the hair style i wanted, and she nailed it! I wanted more natural makeup, and everyone said I looked like myself but just glowing with makeup that showed off my best attributes like my eyes! We kept adding people to our lineup, and she just went along with it and never lost her chill vibe which is needed on a stressful wedding morning! Shelby is so sweet and very professional! She did my makeup for my wedding. I asked her to do natural skin and a bold lip and eye without looking too made up. She nailed it! She's an expert at making you look amazing on camera as well as in person. My makeup felt light and lasted the entire day! She is so friendly and calm under pressure.
