The samples she showed me were exactly what I was going for natural and romantic. I was so happy I chose Rowen Photography! They did an amazing job of getting candid moments. (I was very sick during my wedding and even in the candid shots you can't tell). They were so easy and fun to work with. They took suggestions and gave suggestions . They went with the flow of the wedding (all outdoors with a high of 50). I think what I loved the most is how our photographs really tell our story and captured the magic of the whole day! I met Brownwyn! Every step of the way Brownwyn was patient, (yes, I was a bridezilla...I can admit that now!) professional, and AMAZING on her wedding day! She captured our day just as it happened, tons of creative and authentic shots that aren't "overdone" photoshop experiments...but quality photography! My husband is a amateur photographer, and he has an eye for an artist....that's exactly what Brownwyn is, an artist! In addition, what we needed wasn’t necessarily any of the packages that they offer, but she tailored a package that worked for us, like I said…very accommodating. As an amateur photographer, I know how difficult shooting in weird light can be, but they NAILED it. Coming from someone who knows about cameras, they have HIGH QUALITY equipment that will get the job done! The best part of dealing with Rowen Photography was their business model. ALL of their packages include a flash drive of the pictures with a print release. There is no stressing over buying prints/canvases or proofing everything…we GOT IT ALL, and it was included in the package price. We were truly “wowed” by her photography on her website and when working with her, you can tell she knows how to capture the perfect picture. During the pre First Look photos, I (the groom) got to work with Brownwyn. She is amazing at what she does. I was quite nervous, and she kept me talking about grilled cheese, teaching, and my new career in coaching to put my mind at ease. Before the ceremony, Brownwyn was very concerned about the perfect shots in the blaring sun while keeping us on a schedule. Her husband, Greg was with her holding a shade over our heads to make sure the sun did not create shadows. We got amazing bridal party shots that I instantly used as my Facebook cover. Brownwyn took us outside at sunset for some pictures during our reception, and boy did she get some good ones. Greg got some great shots at the reception as well, from across the water to the dock as we took sunset shots. At one point, Brownwyn was lying in bird droppings in order to get the right angle of us standing on a boat with the sun setting in the background. She posted some of her unedited teaser photos on Facebook the day after the wedding, and we are just blown away with these shots. Not only is she a talented artist, but Brownwyn and her husband are super fun to work with.

I wanted journalistic, non-posy shots...and that's exactly what I got! She was flexible with date and time, and I didn't get a kid who works for her, I GOT her and her husband....the engagement session was thrown into my package, and calmed any and all nerves I had about the wedding day as far as pictures go. She made sure she got the shot--every time. She is SO GENUINELY NICE!! She made us laugh and feel comfortable. Brownwyn let me take risks with our picture shots..us in the water...me up in trees. We had our reception on a later date and procrastinated getting the images we wanted in our slide show to Brownwyn for final touches...and she came through again and spent extra time making a slide show and perfecting the already beautiful pics for us so we could show our family and friends at the reception. t day and things were running late, so we decided to change our first look location. She were able to arrange the perfect scene for us to do the first look at home, and it appears so beautiful on pictures. She is very creative in making a lot of stunning shots even in a limited space. During the dinner and reception, Brownwyn took many photos of us interacting with the guests and group photos whenever any guests requested. We love our wedding photos so much, and so do our parents and guests! Brownwyn was always responsive to our requests. She is very personable and sweet, and it's been a true pleasure to work with her.

On our wedding day, she showed up on time, kept me calm, and worked well with every single other vendor and member of our bridal party. Brownwyn captured every moment without being in the way at all. We even got to see some of our pictures that day! We had pictures up on the blog within 2 days of our wedding and every single one of our pictures ready to go about 6 weeks later. My family members and friends can't stop talking about her work, and we can't be more thrilled with our finished products. ownwyn's knowledge of photography, which is endless, at work, and her ability to put someone at ease/help them relax/look natural is astonishing.
