Mimoza from Royal Backdrops is the absolute best! She made my backdrop visions come to life. Even better than I ever expected! She not only is amazing at what she does but she is a sweetheart!

I interviewed more than 15 decor companies because I had a specific vision but also a budget I wanted to stay within. When it comes to quality and cost, there really is no beating Mimoza and her amazing team. I had a South Asian wedding and had a difficult time finding a decor company that did quality work, was professional, and willing to listen to my vision. Most companies gave me absurd quotes for below average decor but it was important to me to invest in quality work. From my first meeting with Mimoza I knew she was the person I could trust to bring my dream wedding aesthetic to life - I only wish I hired her for all of my other events as well. The quality of her florals are insane and life-like and her lighting production is unlike any company I've seen. I was very picky with the way I wanted my florals and decor to look - very whimsical and organic. Other companies told me it could not be done, but Mimoza went above and beyond with the details and brought an elevated level of sophistication to all of our events. I was an out of town bride, so I didnt get to see any of her work in person. She was kind enough to let me and my entire family come into her beautiful office for a visit to see samples and swatches. She let me pick out the specific florals I liked which matched my outfits and theme and also showed us a sample of our 6 ft tall custom centerpieces. I nearly cried when I walked into my reception because it was more magical than I could've ever imagined. Our acrylic dance floor wrap with custom logo that I designed myself was the highlight of our event and we received so many compliments on it - it was truly top notch quality. Pictures do not do Mimoza's work justice, so you'll have to hire her to see for yourself. Thank you to the entire Royal Backdrops team for making our dreams a reality. Special shoutout to her husband Peter who called me and gave me a mini design lesson so I could have my logo and custom fonts printed on all of our signage that they made for us.

Mimoza and the Royal Backdrop Team were the best decor vendor I could’ve hired for my wedding. The entire process from talking about our vision to make it come to reality was absolutely smooth. We requested a mandap filled with floral on the top and no runner. However Mimoza provided us additionally with a runner and floral all around the mandap. She practically provided us with way more than what was agreed in the contract, which was very sweet of her. She made the mandap looked absolutely like a dream. She was so so so kind and professional and her work was of super quality. The reception decor was on next level and she even extended the size of stage from what we had requested. Even my coordinator praised her and the team regarding how they went ABOVE and BEYOND to help our wedding venue look absolutely perfect. The Royal Backdrops team was amazing to work with! They were organized, and shared 10 different floor designs for my husband and I to chose from. The floor wrapping tied in our whole wedding and it truly transformed the entire room. I would use Royal backdrops again in a heartbeat!

If you’re reading this review- do NOT even finish reading the entire review. Just pls do your self the favor and book if you haven’t already or just confirm and give her the yes to making your dreams come true. Where do I start? I contacted Mimoza middle of the busiest season, first thing she did? Calm me down and agree to work with me! She met with me via FaceTime because that’s what I preferred- sent me her portfolio with images that were similar to the look I was going for and I was blown away. I may have changed my mind on her 4 times and she still maintained her professionalism and kept her cool with trying to make ME happy. Giving her a deposit- easy. Contacting her anytime? Easy. She knew everything about the restaurant I chose, every single dimension and even gave me questions to ask the restaurant that were so helpful!!! She has every chair, table, backdrop, flower, floor design you can picture. NOW….. to my actual day- I had no words. Every single guest was taken back!!!!! The backdrop, table, candles, draping, and floor were something only true talent can create. So many different shades of pink I had, so many different flowers and her team somehow put them together to flow effortlessly. How they did It? I have no idea but I am certain every bride should truly trust this team in creating magic. & if you’re considering booking Mimoza/ do your self the favor and just pay for the floor also. It was installed so quick, tons of designs and really added the touch. Mimoza even added a few inches to my flooring just knowing It would need It! I indeed did get quotes from other vendors, before I contacted Mimoza because I didn’t even think she would be free and the others just did not fit. Either all about money first, too busy to dedicate time for me, or simply just didn’t fit. I will forever be grateful for this whole team. With all my love & support thank you Mimoza!!!!

Working with Mimoza was an absolute dream. She had a LOT on her plate with our wedding, and even after we completely changed our vision she over delivered and transformed our wedding venue into an absolute fairytale. She is extremely professional to work with and helps work out any ideas you have out on paper. She truly cares about the quality of her work and it reflects ten- fold into the results you get. I honestly bursted into tears when we had our room reveal with her because it was everything I ever wanted. Our custom dance floor totally transformed the room for our wedding. We were amazed at how well it held up the entire evening - greek dancing, dollar bills and all! Mimoza was a delight to work with and the process was incredibly easy. So grateful!

Mimoza created a dream. I don’t think I envisioned what she created. She was extremely helpful. She created something that was so unique. Guest thought decor was amazing. I would book her over and over again.

Mimoza and her team are miracle workers - she transformed our tent wedding into a stunning fairytale event space. Everyone went from calling it a "backyard" to a "venue" in one night. I was desperate for help decorating our tent wedding for it to look anything but a "backyard" wedding. We chose to have our reception at our grandmother's property in Long Island but wanted it to have a feel of an event space. I called Mimoza and she worked with me to not just a beautiful backdrop, but to decorate our bridal party dais, add the centerpieces and cover the tent walls. Her team of stellar ladies set up and took down the decor before and after the wedding in record time. We are so super grateful to Mimoza and her team for creating an unforgettable night for our guests and truly elevating our wedding. We planned our wedding this year spring and just had our dream wedding yesterday and oh my, it was a dream come true😍 I ended up reaching out to Royal at the last minute for help and she came through. She was enthusiastic and excited to make it all happen. I just told her what colors I liked and she put everything together in few minutes and bam 💥 I loved all her ideas. Royal Backdrops made my bridal shower and wedding more beautiful than I could imagine. The decor truly took my breath away. Royal Backdrops created a gorgeous seating chart for my wedding that set the tone for the wedding the minute you entered my venue- all of our guests’ names and tables were printed on a stunning vintage mirror and was decorated with flowers and candles. Mimoza, the company owner, was amazing to work with in creating the mirror and sent me proofs well in advance for approval. Royal Backdrops also created a GORGEOUS monogrammed dance floor for our wedding and a stunning wall behind our sweetheart table with swag curtains, chandeliers and flowers. It looked as dreamy as it sounds! If you want decor that will make your wedding a memorable event, you need Royal Backdrops. My wedding decor looked absolutely regal and it was all thanks to this amazing company. I also need to stress how wonderful Mimoza is to work with. She makes you feel like your event is special and not just another job. Mimoza truly made me feel like she cared about my event as if it was her own! Royal Backdrops is an amazing company to use for your special occasion . I will use NO ONE else!!! My daughters Bridal shower was absolutely beautiful . They created a flower wall with her name written in script on the Roses , and a white panel wall with her name written on it , surrounded with balloons and flowers. I was amazed how beautiful this looked !!I just used them again for my daughters wedding , and they created a beautiful curtain backdrop behind my daughters table with chandeliers dangling , that added so much beauty . And a white covered monogrammed dance floor . Please follow them on Instagram and you will see all the different things this family owned company does .,Breath taking !!! You must use this company . We wanted a white dance floor wrap at our wedding and Royal Backdrops made it happen. They were so friendly, professional, and really went above and beyond to make our custom dance floor wrap perfect. It came out amazing and really changed the whole look of the room. one word WOW. We had found Mimosza on instagram after we were worried our original decorator was going to "bail" on gut instinct. Were we so lucky to have found Royal Back Drops on instagram I knew she would have the look that we wanted. We truly felt like a king and queen on our wedding day with our table. It really wowed our guest the whole area and made it look extremely Royal, and Elegant. She was extremely sweet and accommodating I am so happy we added mimoza and her team unexpectedly to our wedding because it was all worth it every penny! PLUS -- having a higher beautiful sweetheart area really keeps your guest from coming to you every second to get some alone time with your new husband or wife on your special day! She also did our monogram runner for our ceremony everyone absolutely loved it, it put a little personal touch to our ceremony! I came across a beautiful canopy on their page and wanted the same for my backyard wedding. I was in Absolute awe with my backdrop for my wedding. It was planned very last minute (on my part) but executed beautifully and beyond my expectation.. My husband and I received so many compliments and it had nothing to do with either of us but everything to do with Mimoza and her team ! Royal Backdrops was AMAZING! We imagined something and they really exceeded our expectations. It was better than we could’ve imagined. The set up was beautiful. Everyone complimented it all night and we took the most beautiful photos in front of it. Besides the set up it’s self, the customer service was amazing as well. Always responded in a timely manner with questions or changes. Due to Covid we had to change venues and wedding dates and they were so helpful and were so accommodating. They truly made our day so special!
