I am so glad we happened upon this gem! As soon as we walked in, Vera was warm, welcoming, and very accommodating! On a tight budget, Vera helped me find the dress of my dreams! In addition, she spent A LOT of time with me going over details and altering my dress. My dress turned out beautifully and felt like a custom dress. Vera, thank you so much for the time and energy you spent with me to make me feel so special on my wedding day!

Vera is the absolute best! Vera makes sure that you feel comfortable and are satisfied with all alterations. We had a short time line and thanks to Vera my dress turned out absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend Vera for any alterations!

Everyone is so nice. They were helpful and patient. It was very refreshing after the horrible experiences I was having with other shops. They never made me feel stupid for asking questions. They never pressured us. They never talked down to us. They had the bridesmaid dresses I wanted and at a great rate. I ABSOULTLY would reccomend them. Weddings are stressful and they truly helped put my mind at ease.

I'm so glad I bought my dress from Royal Bridal & Tuxedo! I had 3 dress appointments, the first being Royal Bridal in one day. I found "the dress" at Royal Bridal, but was not ready to say yes knowing I would be visiting 2 other places. I tried on THE SAME dress at another salon, but Vera's service and dedication to both me and my guests brought me back to Royal Bridal later that day. I called on my way over and Vera stayed open for me to try on my dream dress one last time!

Vera is simply the best!! I found out I was pregnant 2 months before our big day. Needless to say I was freaking out. She calmed me down and had ideas on how to keep me in my already bought dream dress. She worked overtime come a week before the wedding to make sure you fit perfectly in the dress. She was a dream to work with!!!!

Buying my wedding dress at Royal Bridal and Tuxedo was one of the best decisions I made over the year and a half time of wedding planning, that was full of other decisions! Vera and her daughter in law let me take all the time I needed trying on many different styles until I found my dream dress. The dress I choose had a very low back and I wanted something more conservative just for the ceremony portion of our wedding. Vera handmade a lace insert for the back of my dress, with very detailed beading to match my dress and it looked stunning. Then when it was time for our reception, I took out the insert and my dress was completely transformed. Royal Bridal not only has a dress for any style preference and budget, but they are genuinely nice people and very talented when it comes to alterations! Thanks again so much for everything Royal Bridal!

Vera, who is the owner and also does the alterations, is an amazing individual! I showed her a picture of the dress I wanted only to find out that designer retired and the dress was no longer available. However, she knew the dress and we were able to find a dress that Vera could work with to make it look like the one I wanted. This required some extensive alternations (silk wrap around the waist, added shawl that you could attach and detach and shoulder straps). Vera is so pleasant, calm and accommodating making the entire experience fun and leaving you fully confident in her abilities. Theres' no way you can find this level of service and skills within one shop, let alone one individual. I got my dream dress only because of Vera! I highly recommend her and her store. We additionally found my Maid of Honor's Dress and likewise the alternations required were not easy; yet the dress came out looking amazing!! Audrey - wedding was September 8, 2017

I am so glad that I got my wedding dress from Royal Bridal! I found a GORGEOUS dress at an incredible price. What I was most impressed with about this shop was the customer service and the quality of the dresses in stock. Vera was so kind and helpful, picking out my dress was such a great experience. She altered my dress beautifully to make it my dream dress! I visited a few other larger shops before coming here and many of the dresses felt cheap and itchy. At Royal Bridal they have an amazing selection of stunning dresses and each one felt luxurious and worth every penny, I was so excited to try them on. I would recommend Royal Bridal to anyone looking for a wedding dress, I can't imagine anyone not loving this shop!

I got married in August 2016 and purchased my dress here in August 2015. They are AMAZING. I actually found my dress at a different store in a different state, so I can’t talk much about the dress shopping experience, but overall, the store is very clean, and has a great atmosphere. Vera is so friendly and helpful, and gets things done. They are quick to respond to emails and were very accommodating with setting up fittings. Alterations for my gown went smoothly and perfectly. I had two fittings overall, and all I can say is that you are in good hands! She talks you through everything and has you walk around/spend all the time you want in the dress to make sure you are comfortable and understand what alterations will be done. I had to get the length shortened, and even though it was an all lace dress, the trim on the bottom still was beautiful and you couldn’t even tell anything was changed. The also had to take in the bust and hips area, and add in cups. All beautifully done. I wore my mom’s veil and had it steamed here, and they also did a great job with that. Overall, GREAT job. I would recommend them to anyone needing wedding alterations.

I worked with Vera to find my wedding dress, she is so nice and helpful. She also had the largest selection of dresses that I actually liked. She is the owner and was very attentive. She is very professional and the fit of my dress was amazing.

I recently bought my wedding gown from Vera at Royal Bridal and Tuxedo in VIlla Park and couldn't be more happy with my purchase and experience! Vera is very knowledgeable, friendly, and knows how to make you feel like the most important bride in the whole world. And her ability to alter gowns is out of this world. My lace dress needs a lot of altering and what I've seen so far is amazing! I highly recommend Vera and her shop. You won't be disappointed.

Vera is the owner of Royal Bridal and she is wonderful to work with. I was able to try on multiple dresses with one appointment and was never rushed. The alterations done to my dress were perfect! I also ordered my bridesmaid dresses from here and they arrived on time and were reasonably priced compared to other bridal salons with the same dresses. I highly recommend Royal Bridal.

They helped me find the perfect dress that made me feel like a princess! It made my wedding day perfect and everyone kept telling me how beautiful the dress was. I walked into the venue knowning the gown I wanted. Vera took care of me through the entire process and was amazing! So happy I choose this venue! I ordered my gown 5 months prior to the wedding (later than what the books tell you to do, but Vera said she could make it work and she did!) My gown came in earlier than planned, I was able to have 3 dress fittings, I also took care of my alterations with them, 100% the best service!

Royal Bridal and Tuxedo is a family owned Bridal Salon in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. They have a great selection of bridal gowns at reasonable prices. Vera, the owner, has a great eye for what works well on any frame and is very accomodating. I work at a distance and sometimes had a hard time getting there early due to distance. She would often stay open beyond closing just to finish up my fitting. Talk about customer service! I bought two dresses from her. One for the church and a sexier style for the reception. I thought because I bought them both off the rack, I needed to pay for them in full but she allowed me to pay in installments which was great considering that I was on a tight budget. She also has a great selection of bridal accessories. You can get your whole brial look put together in one salon. You can even get your gown cleaned through them as well. One stop shop is the way to go for today's busy bride. Check out Royal Bridal and Tuxedo. You might be like me and find two bridal gowns of your dreams for the price of one! (I spent about 1,550 for two gowns if you could believe that!)

The Royal Bridal and Tuxedo was the first place I went to look for a dress and I found my dream dress!! Vera, the owner, was always there to help with suggestions and answer all of my questions. She was so helpful throughout the process! The shop was able to add straps and alter my dress to fit me perfectly! It was absolutely beautiful!1 I also found and ordered my bridesmaid dresses there. The dresses were beautiful on all of the girls and came in about 2 months before the wedding, so plenty of time for the girls to get them altered if needed. I really enjoyed everything about the Royal Bridal and Tuxedo and would recommend using them for your wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses!

Vera was a blessing during the entire wedding process for me. I got ALL of my bridal parties attire including my gown and veil, bridal shower dress, bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses guys tuxs you name it we got it all there. Its a one stop shop for everything you need. It was a big help to be able to do everything with Vera instead of going to 12 different places for everything she knew my colors and what I wanted and it helped a lot. All in all I will be going back for any formal occasion dresses I ever need so I get to visit her and keep in touch. :)

I only worked with Vera, the owner of this wonderful store! My neighbor had bought her dress there which is what led me there. I went to several stores, but none were like Royal Bridal. The selection of gowns is outstanding and affordable! Many stores were snooty, but not this place. I couldn't be more happy with this store :) In fact, I recommended this store to my girlfriend and she bought her gown there as well.

I have used Royal Bridal & Tuxedo for purchasing bridesmaid dresses for weddings I have been in, and I'm so glad I used it for my own wedding! Vera is so helpful, and professional! She made a long distance wedding so much less stressful, she worked around my schedule so well! My dress was gorgeous, and my bridesmaids dresses were so beautiful! The prices aren't too bad, depending on what you're looking for and the alteration charge is cheap! I would recommend this shop to any future bride & groom in a heart beat!

I LOVED Royal Bridal, it is a smaller family run store (AKA you are not one of 10 brides trying on dresses at the same time!) and they have great customer service. The gowns were beautiful and I feel that they had a wide rage of price points. They did a wonderful job with the alterations and I am so happy that I got my dress there!

I fell in love with my wedding dress at Royal Bridal on my very first trip dress shopping, and it was all over after that! Vera is so kind, warm, and just all-around wonderful to work with. She is an expert seamstress, and I totally trusted her with my lace and silk dress - which fit me perfectly after she was done with alterations. Dress shopping can seem so high-pressure and intimidating, but not here at Royal Bridal. I felt special and like part of the family. I'm so glad that I had this fantastic experience with such a wonderful business!

Vera (the owner and seamstress) and staff is wonderful!!!! She was very accommodating and very helpful. I went to royal bridal for EVERYTHING! My wedding gown, vail, bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos! She is easy to work with and works with you! She carries the most beautiful dresses in her shop, you must see for yourself! Highly recommended!!!!

I was a bit iffy whether I should have stopped at this place or not. I read other reviews and they were all up and down. However, this was the only nearby place that I had the dress I wanted to see. So, my first visit Vera I must say was very accomodating, helpful, and patient. I knew that that was the dress I wanted and ever since all my fittings and appts went smoothly. The reason I gave a 4 was because I did sometimes notice a bit of moodiness or rudeness but other than that she was helpful.

I picked this store because they were a Maggie Sottero carrier. I LOVE Maggie Sottero dresses- they have a magic fit because of a corset. Well worth the money! The store was an hour or two from closing when my mom and I went in so we were the only ones there. It was great service. I went another time for a swatch and had to wait quite a while before anyone bothered to check the desk. Also, they wanted $300 for alterations. All I needed was a bustle and a bit of a hem, so I found someone to do it for MUCH less. All of that being said, they had the new Maggie dresses before anyone else did. And it was a new one I really wanted, so they were great in that area. Overall, had they not had my dress, I probably would not have been impressed at all.

I would recommend Royal Bridal to ANYONE. Vera, the shop owner, is so sweet and was very patient with me during the whole process. She is very knowledgable and has been in the field for many years so I felt very at ease. She was very accomodating and flexible.

I had gone to several stores to try on wedding dresses and found one I loved, at a place with terrible reviews/ratings regarding alterations, that was additionally very far from my home. I had experienced the places that allow you to choose your own to try on, and the places that bring you dresses, despite what you tell them you like or don't like. Vera at Royal Bridal and Tuxedo was a breath of fresh air. She knows what she is doing, and I wouldn't trust ANYONE else to do bridal alterations. She ordered the dress I wanted, even though it was last season and she didn't have it in stock. She even offered the exact same dress for LESS than the other store I originally found it in, AND in our negotiations I was able to secure a discount on the 9 bridesmaids dresses we ordered through her as well. I found 2 other dresses in her shop that were very similar and lovely runner-ups to the dress I actually purchased. She was very helpful but not overly in my business or pretending to be best friends or part of my family. She is professional and polite, but isn't like the intrusive pushy sales people at other boutiques I experienced. My dress arrived well within the dates promised, and she did an incredible job on alterations as it needed to be taken in on both sides and hemmed as it was too long. She did it all beautifully and had the dress and veil pressed. I also purchased my veil and earrings from her store, she has a gorgeous selection of crystal jewelry, tiaras, and other accessories. I HIGHLY recommend this bridal shop for a personal - but low stress - dress shopping experience. LOVE LOVE LOVE Vera and her employees. Go there.
