Royal Cakery

SOO delicious that we didn't want to stop eating it! Our photographer even commented on how spectacular it tasted! We are saving part of it to celebrate when we hit our 1 year anniversary. We couldn't be happier with the turn out!

d everyone was so friendly! Our wedding cake and grooms cake did not disappoint. From delivery to devouring the cake, everything was perfect! We would recommend Ms. Royal to anyone for any special occasion!

er. We made an appointment for taste testing which was great! We got to pick out the exact flavors and types of icing combinations that we wanted to have. All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good the cake was! Especially the carrot cake! If you’re looking for a cake designer with both flavor and talent look no further!

to get in touch with and left before I saw the cake or had a chance to speak with them. I would buy them remade cakes again but never a wedding cake, especially as expensive as it was. It tasted great but I was sorely disappointed

cakes were so delicious and she had so many flavor options to choose from. I showed her pictures of our wedding cake vision and was so amazed when I first saw the cake at the reception. OMG, it looked exactly like the pictures and even better in person. And the cakes tasted amazing too! She also does great cake pulls that all my single girls loved! Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Royal Cakery if you want an amazing wedding cake that you and your guests will love and remember!

quick to respond to my questions and incredibly personable and professional. I highly recommend the Royal Cakery for any occasion!!

up for a tasting simply because we wanted to do one, and none of the other bakeries, including the one we had already put a deposit down on, were willing to do a tasting at a time that worked with our schedule. However, after trying their cakes, and being impressed by the countless wonderful options they had available, we ended up losing the deposit on the other bakery and going with Royal. We were overjoyed, they could do everything we asked them for. After so much stress with the other bakeries, I kept waiting for something to go wrong, but everything was perfect. Both cakes were beautiful and delicious, with many of our guests saying it was the best wedding cake they had ever had.

l drive an hour to get all my cakes from here on out!! My fiancé says.. it was so good it melts your heart.. so U know that is good!!

ways got responses to questions or concerns quickly. I appreciate their staff and the work they put in to make my cake amazing.

d over again!!!!! Thank you for an amazing experience from the tasting to the end result professional and delicious! Brent and I appreciate you! #Foreverandadavis 10/23/2021!

l! Love these ladies!

s one of the few, who agreed to meet with us no matter the size of the order. When we tasted her cakes, we knew we have found our bakery - the cakes were absolutely delicious!!! When we saw our cakes at the reception, we were stunned - the cakes were so beautiful - it even exceeded our expectations! Thank you Shirelle!!!

d us but she was absolutely fabulous and funny! We felt like we were hanging out and eating cake with our family. The cake samples were moist and delicious, during our tasting people were steadily coming in making orders or picking up orders and we got to see a few of their cake designs which were very pretty! I had message a few bakers a picture of the cake design I wanted and Royal Cakery was the only bakery that told me it wouldn't be a problem to do it. Our cake ended up looking just like the picture I sent to them, it was beautiful and delicious! We had a few guests asking us if we had any leftovers. What stood out to me was I had called a few months before asking about if I could increase the serving size because the number of guests who were supposed to attend. When I told Shirelle we were having a dessert table also she was very honest with me and told me I should keep the serving size as is because she would hate for me to have wasted cake at the end of the night. I really appreciated that because some people would not be that honest. I would 100% recommend Royal Cakery for any cake purposes!

our wedding cake! They did a toppling wedding cake for us and even provided figurines of the bride and groom that looked exactly that we pictured. Their prices were great and the customer service was amazing. It feels like a really nice southern family shop when you pop in to do your tasting. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about our wedding cake and now we can’t stop talking about the royal cakery!

. Also, there is a tasting fee of I think $25. Their tastings were above and beyond any other tasting we participated in. Once we booked our cakes everything else ran like clockwork. On the day of the wedding the bridal cake and groom's cake looked beautiful. They tasted amazing and all we heard was how good the cakes were. Shirelle made the whole process so easy.

and her team are great to work with. The cakes were absolutely beautiful and so delicious!

m were amazing. The cake was moist and freshly baked plus it looked beautiful.

right cake in my budget. Plus they were completely flexible as our guest count changed. The cake showed up no problem day of and was exactly what I was hoping for. I highly recommend Royal Cakery.

recommend to anyone shopping for wedding cakes! Don't waste any of your time at any other bakery, they are the best!

dered some good down home cooking, which they also sell at the bakery. I got the sense that this was a friendly family ran outfit where the customer service was personable and genuine. Royal Cakery was always at the top of our list because the tasting price was economical in comparison to other bakeries in the area. I need to also mention that my husband and I aren't really cake fans but we were blown away when we experienced the delicate, not over sweet, decadence of the amaretto flavored cake with the American butter cream icing. I provided them with a picture found on Pinterest and they where able to duplicate the image masterfully. We shall be forever grateful to the Royal Cakery for making our day so sweet.

tions right before you taste them. Their pricing is just as good as their cakes - I wanted a fairly simple design for my wedding cake and they had the best price out of every bakery we contacted. My husband wanted a more intricate design for his groom's cake - a craps table - and did he get a craps table. I was really impressed with the level of detail on his cake - and it was chocolate and absolutely delicious. The process was so easy with them, the cakes were fresh and delicious and they suggested the perfect size for our number of guests - we even had extras from the reception so we got to enjoy after the wedding!

great experience; they let us try unlimited combinations of cakes, fillings, and frostings, all baked fresh when we walked in the door. We received so many compliments from guests on the cake flavors and styles we ended up choosing. The Royal Cakery team is kind and helpful, we are so happy with our cake choice!

re experience with the Royal Cakery was spectacular. To begin, the cake tasting experience was like no other. I requested a variety of cakes/frostings, and they truly made miniature cake pairings of all of my flavors.. which resulted in over 60 little pieces of cake! I was blown away, and truly every sample of cake was incredible. I ended up choosing an almond layer, a white chocolate/caramel layer, and a red velvet layer. You can tell the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the cake decorations. Cake is moist and fluffy, and the frosting is heavenly. Some of the best buttercream I have ever tried. My cake was beautiful on my wedding day, and I had many guests tell me that they had multiple slices of the cake, because every layer was so delicious! I tried every layer which was SPECTACULAR. Also, very reasonable prices for such an incredible product. Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you choose Royal Cakery for your wedding day! I highly recommend them!

ncé and I came in for our cake tasting appointment it was obvious there was a miscommunication between the employees about who booked our cake tasting, and it was most certainly taken out on us. Which they later apologized for and redeemed themselves. Which I should have known better because that was “red flag number one”, but I brushed it aside like we all do. The only reason I gave them “two stars” is because their cakes are delicious, which is very sad because their employees and customer service are unprofessional and rude. When you email the Royal Cakery for any of your cake needs, it sends it to one email, and any employee can reply. Which later creates so much confusion with so many people replying, and a lot of “I don’t know who I talked to.” Trust me, it’s a complete mess. We were going back and forth in pricing and sending pictures like the normal wedding cake process goes, and we were about to send the contract when one morning I get an email (keep in mind this was all in an email). “Another bride came in and booked a huge order on your same date, sorry we won’t be able to make your cakes. Best wishes.” I kid you not, ALL IN AN EMAIL. Of course I called and they had the nerve to tell me “Mam this is the wedding industry, first come, first served.” After I already paid for a cake tasting, which is part of the down payment to secure your date. Please, please do yourself a favor and do not waste your time and money on service like this, especially from “Royal Cakery.” This is a beautiful time and you are already spending so much money, spend it on the good ones. My fiancé and I had another cake tasting today and it was absolutely amazing, the cake and customer service was everything I hoped it would be and should be. I am proud to say Gambino’s Bakery will be doing our wedding cakes. Ask for Kevin, he is great!

least a layer of cake at weddings is thrown out. My guests raved about how good the cake was that they were eating 2 to 3 pieces each. The cake was not only heavenly but it looked like a dream and was exactly what I had asked for including our soccer ball grooms cake. This place was also amazing for the tasting. We had gone to another well known bakery where they only gave us 3 pieces of cake to taste. Here they brought out a platter of white cakes and chocolate cakes for us to taste many different flavors with different icings. Do yourself a favor and chose Royal Cakery. I also recommend adding one more layer to your cake than you think you need, trust me it will be eaten.

the Royal Cakery did not deliver on the look of the cake I wanted. I even gave them a picture when we hired them of what I wanted the cake to look like. I wanted a semi-naked (lightly frosted) cake with lots of cake peeping through the frosting, with gilded gold flakes on it. Fortunately our ceremony/reception took place at the same location. 10 minutes before the ceremony was starting, I went into the reception area and saw my cake and was so disappointed. The cake was much more heavily frosted than I anticipated, making the cake look poorly frosted. And there was no gold!! We even paid for the gold and it was stated in my contract that there would be gold on the cake. So I immediately called them and she said they were going to come back and put the gold on the cake. And they did so while our ceremony was taking place. After the ceremony when it was time to cut the cake, I noticed there was three tiny little speckles of gold that was barely visible. My photographer wasn't even able to get the gold in the pictures because there was hardly any at all. I am a chef and one of my most anticipated details of the wedding was my cake. And unfortunately it was just disappointing. Thankfully it tasted good. Also, they are not very responsive and hard to get in touch with at times. I wish they had been more communicative and made it a priority to make sure that my vision of what I wanted was cohesive to what they were going to create. If you're going to hire the Royal Cakery, make sure you contact them many times before your event and send them pictures several times of the cake you have in mind to be on the safe side!

d extra puffs a couple of weeks before the wedding.

esh cake on the spot and it was ALL delicious. We had 3 flavors of cake for our wedding because they are all great! The big surprise, how gorgeous the cake was. When I spotted the cake at the reception I was so happy! It looked better than I envisioned it. Our guests loved it! You have to get your cake here or you are not getting the best!

the sweetest of confections. The Three Graces were more than helpful in helping us with beauty of design, and nothing was too much trouble nor did we hear, sorry we can't do that. Then they proceeded to bake us a variety of four fresh cakes with suggested fillings. Its was heavenly. After patiently waiting for us to reach decisions, we made a second visit to confirm, not knowing they actually had a professional artist to grant us one more wish. Our creation was safely delivered and assembled carefully. Big smiles and tired eyes let us know they were as happy as we were.It has been told that it was the most beautiful cake at the venue thus far. Guests gobbled up both. Worth the price but worth the effort of these wonderful bakers.

South period! Everyone raved about how great my our cake looked and tasted. Every layer was moist, properly filled and not too sweet. I will be using them for all of my events.

ne my husband was on! It turned out amazing! The cake was so fresh and we received so many compliments! Their prices were also so reasonable and they were wonderful to work with!

essional. We were delighted with the wedding cake and apparently so were our guests as there was not a crumb left after we removed the wedding topper!

ture I got from Pinterest, and they were able to make it exactly the same. For the groom's cake, they replicated my husband's fantasy football trophy...It was amazing!! You will not find better quality wedding cakes in New Orleans!

ot very polite at all. It was almost like it was an inconvenience. I think they would benefit from allowing only the younger lady to deal with the customer service side of the business, she was super nice.

They have tons of options for cake flavors and icing flavor combinations. The location of the shop is a little sketchy, but their work is fabulous!!! Their prices seem pretty on par with other bakeries, and they even matched a quote from another bakery that we had gotten. The only downside is that they do not take credit cards. But I would still choose them again because ultimately, I just wanted a cake that not only looked great, but tasted fresh and delicious, and that is exactly what I got! Thanks Royal Cakery!!

ly and guests have all said it was THE best cake they've ever had!!! The staff was so kind and easy to work with!! I would highly recommend the Royal Cakery for any event!!!

eautiful cake that is also yummy, this is your place!

k, the taste, everything was better than I ever imagined. They were a joy to work with! Good luck trying to pick your flavors as every single bite at the tasting was better than the one before. We went with Devil's Food Cake with fresh strawberries, Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Filling and Red Velvet Cake with cream cheese. AMAZING! Thank you so much Royal Cakery for the most delicious cake we have ever seen and tasted! Brent & Herb

But that day the bride and groom selected two flavors and the decor of the cake. The final product did not disappoint. It was truly gorgeous and exactly as the bride and groom had requested. The two flavors, praline and red velvet, were so delicious. Anyone who had a slice commented that it was one of the best cakes they had ever had. The cake was a hit, both for its beauty and its taste. I would definitely recommend Royal Cakery
