ut down. Unable to get in touch with the company for 24 hours, we were unable to confirm our tour booking with the company after attempted phone calls and emails to the tour operators. Our intentions for calling in advance of our tour, outside of confirming tour operations, were to inform the tour operators in advance that 4 of our 7 expected, and paid for, guests were unable to fly in to New Orleans due to weather constraints and to see if a refund could be issued in advance for those unable to make the tour. Upon finally getting in contact with Royal Carriages after the tour time had passed (without any knowledge that tours had resumed that date and therefore, unable to participate on the tour) we were informed that we would not be able to receive our money back. Nancy, a manager at Royal Carriages had absolutely no compassion towards weather implications that restricted their ability to communicate with us and our ability to confirm if our tour was scheduled. An organization with true professionalism would have been understanding of the situation and the faults of both parties and offered a refund on payment. DO NOT BOOK WITH ROYAL CARRIAGES!
