for months leading up to my wedding day and was under the impression that he was going to be my day of DJ. To my surprise, Charlie was my DJ and everything that could have gone wrong was wrong. All of my ceremony songs were timed incorrectly, my recessional song could not be heard, my first dance song was the wrong song, 2 of our parent dances were the wrong song(when my Matron of Honor went to correct Charlie he argued with her instead of just playing the right song), breakup songs were played during cocktail hour, parent dance songs and first dance song were played during dinner, my officiant had to take over as MC because Charlie was incapable, the microphones kept cutting out and had to be changed multiple times during toasts, no explicit songs were played when my entire playlist I provided was explicit versions, song requests were taken when I specifically said no requests, songs I had never heard of were played that killed my dance floor, the photo booth backdrop was incorrect, and I had 10+ guests complain about the photo booth operators attitude towards them. I will give 1 star because I contacted RJ the Monday after my wedding and he did apologize and give me $150 back which covered the extra hour of music I had paid for, but my overall experience was horrible. Unless RJ is the one showing up to your event, I do not recommend using Royal Entertainment.

everything was on point. His entire team was fantastic, professional, and so easy to work with. I could really tell they care about making the event special. What stood out most was how he went out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly. Him and his team truly went the extra mile and brought such a great attitude the entire night. The planning process was also a breeze thanks to his app—it made coordinating everything simple and stress-free. I love that I was able to go into the app and add stuff that needed to be there like names, make comments suggestions that was awesome. The photo booth was a huge hit! Everyone had a blast. The pictures came out great and were such a fun keepsake for our guests. At the end of the night, we were given copies of all the pictures that were taken. They also have an option for the people that take the pictures to put their phone number in, to be able to get it digitally. And that was a huge success for my Friends and family that attended. Overall, excellent work. I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone planning any special event.

I had a lot of demands as the bride and was picky about the music (including adding a saxophonist later, DJing a couple songs myself, and playing edm most of the night lol), and RJ made it all happen. The Photo Booth was also a huge hit and every one said they had a blast. The only piece of constructive criticism I have is that there were a couple of slightly awkward transitions throughout the night in terms of twists on formal events that I requested such as the table dash (not RJ’s fault but something to keep in mind for guests who linger and traffic jams during dinner, he also warned us about this in advance), transitioning from the bouquet toss to the bouquet dedication to my mom, and announcing open dance (wish we started with a group pic or something to get everyone on the dance floor). I would have also requested that the Photo Booth be open solely after dinner since guests were disappointed they didn’t get a chance to participate in time or the printer wasn’t working. But I believe these are all easy fixes and the communication was excellent. I would 100% hire this company again. Thank you so much RJ!
