Royal Films are the absolute BEST cinematographers that you can choose for your special day in California or beyond. Their films are works of art and capture the special moments and emotions from your wedding day in such a beautiful, genuine, professional, high quality, and creative manner. . Richard and Tracy truly exceeded our expectations from our first e-mail communication to our wedding day and beyond. It really felt like we were working with family. We knew they cared about us and we were not just another client to them. We first met Richard in person during our engagement shoot. He was so friendly, calm, and enthusiastic. It felt like we already knew him! We absolutely loved the engagement Instagram reel and the love story film he created that perfectly told our story. We were so lucky to have both Richard and Tracy there on our wedding day. They captured all of our precious moments. Their friendly faces, calming presence, confidence, kindness, support, and very gentle direction was just what we needed. We knew we were in great hands and didn’t have to worry. Even though we had a tight timeline during our romantic photos, Richard made sure to remember and advocate for a couple shots that I had asked about beforehand, like one of my husband and I running together. Richard and Tracy went above and beyond for us by surprising us with a Same Day Edit that played during our wedding reception after our love story film played! It was a complete surprise to all of us!! We were so happy!! Our guests were simply wowed as were we! It was gorgeous and we still can’t believe how they created and edited it so fast. Our guests are still talking about it. Some of them even said that it was their favorite part of the reception. We are incredibly grateful. Our Instagram reel and highlight film of the wedding footage were amazing! We love both of them! I have cried almost every single time I have watched our highlight film. It is so special and will be treasured forever. Richard and Tracy are incredibly talented and phenomenal. We cannot recommend Royal films enough to any couple getting married in the future. My husband and I are blessed and so happy that they captured our engagement and wedding day so beautifully. We hope to work with them again in another capacity in the future. Richard was amazing to work with and produced a beautiful film for our wedding. He perfectly encapsulated our wedding day. Not only were we impressed with his videography but also his professionalism and kindness. He went out of his way to make sure we both felt comfortable on the day of the wedding and had great communication throughout the entire experience. I cannot recommend him and his team enough!

My review is long overdue, but hands down Tracy and Richard were the BEST vendors we worked with on our day! Our wedding was a busy, stressful day but Tracy and Richard were two wonderfully calm breaths of fresh air. They were professional, kind, calm, positive and gave great direction. We were not happy with our wedding photographer’s attitude nor the photos so the fact that we had a good experience with Royal Films was a huge relief. The end product was beautiful and we are so so happy with our memories captured forever! The best decision we made was choosing them to capture our special day. As our one-year wedding anniversary approaches, my husband and I find ourselves reminiscing about our wedding day, made even more memorable by the amazing film created by our wedding videographer, Richard. While this review is long overdue review, we have to express our deepest gratitude for his incredible work! In the week leading up to our wedding, we were faced with an unexpected challenge when our original videographer had to cancel. Panic set in, and we quickly started searching for a replacement. My husband Patrick came across Royal Films and quickly arranged a call with Richard. Luck was on our side as he happened to be available on our wedding day. From the very beginning, Richard displayed immense kindness and flexibility, instantly putting our worries to rest. On the day of our wedding, Richard's adaptability and professionalism were nothing short of remarkable. He seamlessly integrated himself into our special day and worked perfectly alongside with our wedding photographer. Richard effortlessly captured the most beautiful and heartfelt moments throughout the day. Heard about Richard and Tracy through a bridal Facebook group and fell in LOVE with their work! My husband and I knew we wanted them to capture our wedding, so we booked them immediately. Every step of the way they were professional, great communicators, creative, flexible, and easy to work with. Richard collaborated well with our photographer and offered a variety of shots throughout the day. We highly recommend them for anyone looking to have a high-quality video for their wedding!

Richard was great with communication before, after and during the wedding. He was a nice guy and very professional. Working with him was seamless on the wedding day. The pricing is definitely reasonable and the quality turned out great, as expected.He was also very quick with getting us our videos after. We enjoyed all the footage including the instagram reel! We appreciated his help with the downloads too, as we found ourselves a bit technically challenged for the task! I couldn't recommend Richard and Royal films more!!

These people are FIRE! Highly recommend. Our highlight video captures the vibe of our wedding perfectly. We looked through a LOT of videographers and Richard and Tracy are the best. It never even felt like there was a camera on us and yet there is so much amazing footage to prove there was. True professionals who show up on time and get you the results ASAP. They worked flawlessly with the photographers and because there were two of them they were able to split up so we didn't miss a single moment of our wedding. (If you are worried about money... don't be. These folks are worth it and are reasonably priced. This video is gonna be one of the main things you look back on. Our video is so good and I have already cried watching it. TRULY feels like I am transported every time I watch it.) I will definitely hire these folks again when I have my next big event.

Richard and Tracy were so easy to work with!! Not only were they great to work with, but their videography is incredible! When my husband and I received our highlight video, we got emotional all over again! It was a way to relive the best day of our lives! Having a video of our wedding is so different from photos because you can actually see everyone’s reactions and you can hear everyone voices. It’s just so special. Richard and Tracy truly exceeded our expectations and we are so in love with our wedding video! The most incredible moment was when I saw a cameo of a monarch butterfly fly by the camera. This is special to me because I associate monarch butterflies with my dad, who passed away a couple years ago. I’m so happy Richard caught this special cameo for me! All in all, we are so over the moon with our wedding video! Tracy and Richard are just the most gracious and wonderful people too!

We loved working with Richard and Tracy for our wedding videography! We were given a helpful and comprehensive survey that asked about our relationship, our expectations, a few song choices, and the day of schedule. Covid definitely threw a wrench in our original March 2020 plans, but they were so easy and willing to work with us to reschedule to March 2021 and finally an August 2021 date. I was so impressed by Richard and his second shooter on the day of the wedding. They were friendly, engaging, and kind. They worked seamlessly with our photography team and blended easily into the background of the day. There were many times I forgot we were even being recorded and just had the time of my life. We received the highlight reel within a month of the wedding and I was floored! They were telling our story with the perfect song choice. They did a beautiful job of capturing the details and emotions of the day in such a candid way. I felt like I was reliving our special day! I've watched the reel countless times since and have enjoyed sharing it with family and friends. We received the full video 2 months after the wedding. Watching this, we know it was money well spent! This video is so precious to us, I just know we'll continue to rewatch it and share it with our future kids. We highly recommend Richard and Tracy of Royal Films! They are incredibly kind and friendly professionals, prompt in their responses, and they tell beautiful stories that uniquely capture the essence of your special day. Richard and Tracy are a fabulous husband and wife wedding videography team. They are hands down one of the kindest and most professional vendors to work with. I was impressed so much by their responsiveness and attention to detail. On my wedding day, Richard arrived on time and blended in seamlessly with my photographer. He worked his magic without me even knowing he was there capturing all the little details of my wedding. His eye for catching all the right moments was so on cue that when I saw the wedding video, I got incredibly emotional, because he just KNEW which moments were most important and he made sure he caught them all. There isn’t a review box big enough to explain how incredible Richard and Tracy are at Royal Films. We had reached out to a couple of videographers when looking for vendors, and I remember saying “Richard and Tracy were the only ones that made a point to ask about us, who we are are, how we met, how we fell in love, etc.” From the very beginning, they were so personable, attentive, sweet, and accommodating. My husband and I were one of the many thousands of couples that had to postpone our original 2020 nuptials due to covid. Richard and Tracy were so understanding of our postponement, and made the process of switching everything over so easy and stress free. As for our actual wedding day, we truly can’t say enough good things. If you want your wedding to be captured in the most authentic way, Royal Films are your people. They were there to capture everything exactly as it unfolded, which is what we were looking for. They never got in the way of a single moment, they just easily blended in and captured everything organically and just as magically as it was in real time. Our completed wedding video is nothing short of incredible. Everyone who has watched it has raved to us about how amazing it is. We watch it weekly, and have yet to watch it without crying. It is everything we could have ever dreamed of for our wedding video and more. We will cherish it for the rest of our lives, and feel so lucky to get to relive our day any time we want. But the best part about all of it is knowing that the people behind all of the magic are two of the kindest, most genuine people. For us, that was one of the most important things. Not only am I a wedding professional vendor, I knew from the get-go that I wanted Richard and his team to capture our wedding. They are beyond talented, and extremely professional. I could not have dreamed of a better team to document our most special day. I am so grateful for Richard and what he has provided for my husband and I. I literally cry every time I watch our highlight video. I even cry just talking about it. He was able to document every special event throughout our entire day. My husband and I could not recommend hiring Royal Films more highly! So far, we have just received our highlight video (very quickly too!), and we were blown away by how beautiful it was and how well it captured the joy and love we felt that day! On the day of our wedding, Richard and his assistant videographer had a great presence but were never intrusive, and we mostly forgot their cameras were there. They worked seamlessly with our photographers to get some incredible footage, and the few times they directed us to do something (like walk forward hand in hand with our wedding party), we immediately understood why when we watched our highlight video and saw how well all of their shots came together! Richard and Tracy are wonderful to work with, and their price is quite reasonable for the high-quality work they perform!

We are so glad to have hired Royal Films for our wedding! Richard (videographer) was an incredibly nice guy and pleasure to work with! He was a true professional: came early/stayed late, gave clear direction, consistently thought about editing while shooting. I really enjoyed some of his artistic shots (e.g. pano shot from a golf cart)! Most importantly, Richard captured key moments from the right angles. The editing was great too! There was a good balance of slow motion and voice overlays that really conveys the proper emotions. We are very impressed and highly recommend them!

My son and his fiancee postponed their wedding due to the pandemic and the brides' mother cancer diagnosis in CA. So, a new wedding was hatched and moved from MN to CA within days! The couple had invested in the original wedding, they worried about the expense of adding a CA cinematographer. It seemed so important, so I asked them if I could try to find someone. They agreed & I was thrilled to find Richard and Tracy of Royal Films, a wonderful Christian couple! They were truly heaven sent! They immediately responded and they were so kind, generous & sensitive to our situation. They were very good at communicating. Richard let us know he arrived early at the wedding. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Richard was totally professional and thoughtful and kind. He went above and beyond. He truly cared about us. The memories he captured will be a treasure for our family for a lifetime. Royal Films treated us like royalty and they will always hold a special place in our hearts! I've watched the wedding film several times now and I am just blown away by it. It is the most important thing we have left from the wedding. Where do I begin? We were originally scheduled to be married March of 2020 but had to postpone due to Covid. Tracy and Richard we're incredibly understanding throughout my whole process. I never thought I would postpone my wedding and it was very hard at times. From day one, Tracy and Richard were professional, understanding, an incredibly kind which is something I'll never forget. In terms of their services day of, they were spectacular. They worked cohesively, seamlessly, and produced amazing footage of our day. They also worked very well with my photographer. This review is long overdue, Richard and Tracy are not only a wonderful couple but are truly talented in what they do. Finding a videographer is not easy, especially one that you can trust to capture one of the most important days of your life. However, Royal Films did a fantastic job at capturing the details of our wedding and editing. To this day my husband and I tear up just watching the videos again. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from the start, they wanted to know who we were, our vision for the day, to truly capture the film that resonates with us as a couple. We weren't sure if we wanted to hire a videographer at first, but it turned out to be the best decision we made for the wedding. The video turned out phenomenal. It totally exceeded our expectations and really brings back memories of the day in a way that pictures don't. Additionally, Richard is the nicest human being ever and his wife Tracy who we've corresponded with through email is extremely sweet as well. Again - we couldn't be happier with the final product. They're also priced very fairly compared to other vendors, and the quality of their work speaks for itself. Royal Films exceeded our expectations by far. We loved the whole process. From signing our contract to receiving our highlight footage. Everything was smooth, easy, and fun. Tracy and Richard are professional, but make you feel like family throughout the journey. They are kind and intentional. We had an AMAZING experience with Royal Films! They were very responsive and kind throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding. The weather forecast predicted heavy rains on our wedding day and we let Tracy and Richard know a few days before. On the day of the wedding, Richard and their second shooter arrived on time and fully prepped for the rain. They worked in tandem with our photographer from a separate business and (aside from a few staged shots during our getting-ready portion - which we asked for) seamlessly blended into the background as they captured our day. We received our highlight reel exactly one month after our wedding and our full wedding video 3 months after that - both within the promised time period. The videos are beautiful and we're so glad we went with Royal Films.

My fiance(now husband) and I are from Texas & decided to cancel our 200+ wedding to elope in Vegas earlier this year. We weren't bringing any family with us, so it was important to have a videographer with us the entire day so we could share it with everyone. Words cannot describe how amazing Richard & his team were. He knew exactly what/when to film the entire day and was great to be around. We are grateful for his presence on our day since our family was not there to celebrate with us. When he sent us the finished video a few weeks after we got home, my husband and I smiled, laughed, and cried the entire time we watched it. He captured our day perfectly. Like I said - words cannot describe how good his work is. From the aerial shots to the way he synched up the music to the frames/mood, it was just perfect. It's been almost 8 months and I still watch the video a few times a month because it is that awesome. You will not regret going with Royal Films, they are the best!

Royal Films did exactly what I needed for my wedding. I did not have much time on my hands to find a videographer and booked them through the recommendation of a friend. Richard and Tracy were so easy to deal with. I had very little contact with them before the wedding but explained in detail what I was looking for. They showed up on the morning of my wedding and the day was a breeze. The two worked well with my photographer and the end result was just what I wanted. Our wedding video is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen! The quality is so professional and polished. They really captured our love story. I was on the fence about needing a videographer, but hiring Royal Films is one of the best decisions I made. Your wedding day will go by in a flash and feel like a blur, so having it well documented is very important. It's so nice to look back and relive our special day. This review is very overdue, but I wanted to take a minute to let other couples know how amazing Royal Films is. I first found out about them from an old friend who used them for her wedding day and always kept them in the back of my mind. From the moment we had our first meeting with Tracy and Richard, we knew that we wanted to go with them for our big day. They are such a sweet couple to work with and they also work well with your photographer and other vendors. They also don't charge extra to use a drone for aerial shots, which was awesome. When we were looking for a videographer, we noticed that a lot of the reviews for Royal Films mentioned that you don't even notice they're filming you. This is so true! Throughout our ceremony and even during our wedding photos, my husband and I didn't even see them. I honestly forgot at one point that they were filming and it helped me feel more relaxed and showcase all the real emotions I was feeling throughout the day. Tracy and Richard were also so accommodating to us and made sure to go over our timeline and ask us what special moments we wanted them to capture on film. On our wedding day, we ended up having a last minute getting ready location for the groom and Tracy and Richard were so easy to get in contact with and showed up right on time. One of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding was making the decision to not only hire a videographer - but to hire Royal Films! We are absolutely in awe of how our highlight video turned out, and we even ended up upgrading to a higher package because they had captured such great footage. My husband did a surprise dance for me with his groomsmen and now I have it filmed in amazing quality thanks to Tracy and Richard. You can't go wrong with Royal Films! I'm fairly certain I went insane on my wedding videographer search by watching 100+ wedding videos. I was searching for a good storyteller and cinematographer who could tell my love story the way I wanted! I've only seen the highlight clip (maybe a thousand times), and they did just that! I really liked their package options, too. I love the highlight reels, but also wanted to make sure the FULL night could be captured in a longer version. They have a variety of packages so you can get what you want! They're also the nicest people. Everything was so easy day-of. So, learn from my extensive search and book them with peace of mind!

From the very start, we knew Richard and Tracy were a perfect fit for us. Our shared faith drew us to them and a very comforting video chat with them sealed the deal. My husband and I loved their calm, confident personalities. Richard even drove out (quite far) before the big day to see our venue and help us plan. He had amazing suggestions and ideas, assured us everything would be beautiful, and made a great first impression with the owner/staff at our venue. Working with Richard and Tracy was so easy. From payment options, to selecting music, everything was seamless. On the big day, they were not only punctual, but actually arrived a little early to set up and check in. They were quick, efficient, and extremely confident in their work. They were polite to my bridal party, family, and friends. I never once felt they were in the way or a nuisance. After a short wait, we received a 2 minute highlight film of our special day. It was incredibly done and left us eager for the entire film. Another short wait later, we received our 18 minute feature film and fell in love all over again. It captured our love story in such an amazing way. I have received so many compliments on how beautifully the video turned out. We are beyond thrilled with it and gladly recommend Richard and Tracy. Anyone who is looking for a professional, high quality, beautiful film, Royal Films is the only way to go!

My husband and I planned our wedding in a short amount of time (3 months) and on a tight budget. Royal films worked with us to create a package that fit our time frame, budget, and wedding dreams! They were so friendly and asked all the right questions to make sure they understood exactly what we wanted. On the day of the wedding they were super professional and honestly, I barely realized they were there (in a good way)! We received the highlight video a few short weeks later and it’s perfect! They captured the essence of our wedding so perfectly! I couldn’t believe it was me in the video! The quality was amazing and we loved every second of it.

We decided to hire Royal Films because their aesthetic and the way they shot the wedding films that we viewed on their site was in line with what we wanted. Tracy was very quick and responsive to my inquiry and they were very flexible and accommodating to our busy schedule to meet up and finalize details in person and via email. We didn't end up having Tracy as part of our shooting team and were not told she wouldn't be joining us but she was pregnant at the time and so, of course, this was perhaps the reason we missed experiencing her videography expertise for our event. However, Richard was fantastic and his second videographer was professional as well. Timelines were always communicated and they worked with us and presented us options when our timeline was out of the original contracted time. We love our video and it completely captured our special day. We loved it so much that we will most likely add on to our package because we want to see more of what was shot for the day. Royal Films is professional and caring, we were glad we chose them to capture our special day. We will cherish our video forever.

Royal Films was one of the best vendors we chose for our wedding! From the initial meeting with Tracey and Richard, they really listened to what we wanted out of our wedding video and provided a great overview of what we could expect from working with them. We wanted a videographer with a glide cam and a drone, they were able to provide both! On the day of the wedding, Richard arrived on time along with a couple other videographers. He came in right away with a great vision, took a look at the venue and what was currently happening during the "getting ready stage," he started capturing amazing footage right away! Him and his team were extremely professional and friendly. They definitely made us all feel comfortable. I've had experience feeling awkward with photographers in the past, that was not at all the experience with Richard and team. Throughout the day and night, it's so true that we didn't even realize they were shooting! Now, what really set Richard and team apart, is how they reacted when we had a very unfortunate event happen during our wedding. Our fully outdoor venue lost power for a large portion of the reception. Thanks to Richard's own lighting system, you would never know from the video and pictures that were captured! We had no light throughout our reception area, but thankfully Richard had the perfect lighting system with backup batteries to fully light our dance floor! Him and his team reacted swiftly to ensure the party kept going and the video footage was still the best! While we were disappointed with how our venue handled the power outage, we couldn't be more grateful for Richard and team for stepping up and looking out for our best interests! Royal Films was well prepared for anything that could have gone wrong and our story proves it. They go above and beyond for their clients and we definitely felt that throughout our wedding day. Not to mention, we now have a beautiful wedding video that captured all of our favorite moments! And our highlight video was truly amazing! We highly recommend Royal Films!!! I have to say our video is the best keepsake we have from our wedding. I knew their work was wonderful, but after meeting Richard and Tracey, there was no one else I wanted capturing our wedding memories. They are sweet people who are so passionate about what they do. Our video is movie trailer quality. I truly feel that the video is how we remember our day most since it flies by in a whirl. I am SO glad I picked Royal Films.

My husband and I were so happy we worked with Tracy and Richard for our wedding video! We decided in the last couple months of wedding planning that we wanted a videographer, and I am so glad we did. They were super easy and fun to work with - they are friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Having them on our wedding day felt like we were hanging out with friends. We also love love love the video they sent us! They sent us a highlight reel and a longer documentary edit, and we have watched both many times. When Tracy and Richard sent us the longer documentary edit, I requested that a certain clip from the Father-Daughter dance be included, and they were super quick to edit it at no charge. You won't regret working with Tracy and Richard on your wedding day!

We did not initially plan on using a videographer, and we are SO HAPPY we changed our minds and used Royal Films. The day went by way too quickly, and it is simply impossible to remember every wonderful detail. Royal Films did an AMAZING job of capturing every detail-- from the decor, to the views, to the first look, to the ceremony, to the speeches, to the dances. They even took drone footage, which looks amazing. The final product is gorgeous. I might have squealed a little when I saw our highlight film. Anyway, we are so happy we used them and recommend them highly!

The day of I never even noticed the cameras and equipment yet they captured every important moment. Both our highlight film and fully edited film were amazing and we are so glad we chose Royal films to capture the most important day of our lives. We LOVED Richard and Tracy! I found Royal Films on The Knot & Wedding Wire, and had only seen their highlight videos from their website, but I knew we had to have them. Their eye for detail and editing is one of a kind. While we only spoke with Tracy over email, she was always so quick to respond, very kind and helpful, and an all around pleasure to work with. Richard was our lead videographer for our wedding, and we just loved working with him and his second shooter Alfred so much. Richard has an incredible eye for getting those perfect shots and had great ideas throughout the day for how to best capture every moment. He was so nice and accommodating, and worked well with our photographer with whom he had never met before. We received our highlight video less than two weeks after our wedding, and we just cannot say enough good things about it. It is perfect in every way, and everyone we've shown it to just loves it! It captures the day so amazingly, I think we've watched it a dozen times! We would absolutely recommend Royal Films to anyone! They are great to work with and budget friendly!

When we began our vendor search for our wedding, having a good, quality videographer that didn't cost an arm and a leg was one of my top priorities. On such an important day, it was important to me to meet and get to know the videographer to make sure we found a good fit for our venue and for us personally. We met Tracy and Richard at a Starbucks one night after work about halfway between our house and theirs. I really appreciated the flexibility as our schedules were a bit hectic at the time. We went over details about dates and times for everything, and just got to know each other. By the time we left, it was an easy decision to book Royal Films. On the day of our wedding, Richard arrived with two of his team fully armed and ready to go. He made my husband and I feel at ease and comfortable the entire time. They were never in the way, and were super courteous when they wanted to film something a certain way. They worked really well with my two photographers as well who were very familiar with our wedding venue. Richard and his team took direction from them and worked together flawlessly to avoid being in each other's' way. They were very personable and friendly. It felt like we had a few extra friends there. Our highlight video was absolutely perfect, and captured several of my favorite moments in just a couple of minutes. We're still waiting on our full video and documentary edit, but I know without a doubt it will be amazing as well. I highly recommend them and their services for any occasion you may need. They're a great team with excellent quality and service. : )

We hired Royal Films to shoot our Engagement Photos and we couldn't be happier with the final product and process. Our photographer, Richard, was an absolute pro. He took the time to learn about us as a couple and picked locations and shots that captured our story perfectly. He was really easy to work with and made both me and fiance feel comfortable and cared for the entire time. Throughout the shoot, Richard listened to us to get shots we wanted, but also added his creative touch to try some awesome techniques that turned out great. He was organized, flexible and professional and we were thrilled with the photos we got. I would highly recommend Royal Films for any future wedding or engagement.

I first heard about Royal Films when I went to get my hair done. My hair stylist referred me to them. So I looked up their website and loved that it was a married couple who does the videography. I looked at their work and really liked it. I contacted them and Tracy was quick to reply. She answered my questions and gave me different options. I decided to go with Royal Films because Tracy was so nice and this was all through email. I was sad to find out that Tracy would not be recoding my wedding and that it would be her husband Richard and two other gentlemen. When the day finally came, Richard and his team exceeded my expectations. Everything was so smooth and free flowing. I loved that I did not feel stressed about what to do in front of the camera. Richard gave great direction. I received my highlight film about 2 or 3 weeks after my wedding and I absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend Royal Films to any bride and groom. My wife and I met Tracy from Royal Films through a Bridal show that our venue was hosting. From the get-go, Tracy was very informative, calm and professional about demonstrating all that Royal Films had to offer. My wife and I decided to book Royal Films as our videographer after we found that they were the only company who demonstrated CONSISTENT and SUPERB quality for their couples' films. On the day of our wedding, Richard and Luke were quick to set up, speedy in their shots, and nearly invisible! There were times when the wedding party didnt even notice they were filming our antics! Hah. Overall, it was great to know that the Royal Films team was able to capture every moment of our special day so my wife and I can relive it for the rest of our lives.
