I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about Royal Golf Club!!!!!! We absolutely LOVED our day and how fabulous Meredith and Annie were to work with. I had seen other reviews raving about them but wow... did they live up to the hype!! My husband and I probably toured 20+ venues of varying cost, style, and inclusions and at the end of the day we kept coming back to RGC because of how friendly, accommodating, comfortable, and easygoing (not to mention gorgeous) everything was and was the only place we could truly see our day happening. They also added on cafe lighting in the reception space and opened up the patio as an add on option for cocktail hour during our engagement that we ended up adding on which if its nice weather is an ABSOLUTE MUST!! It was the PERFECT place for everyone to gather and they set up a pop up bar out there in addition to the main bars. The bartenders were incredible and we got SO many compliments on the venue space, the bartending efficiency, and how delicious the food was. If I could rate this place on a scale of 1-10 I would give it 10000000. I was a relatively type B bride and worried that things weren't going to come together but between our day of coordinators and Meredith/Annie the day went off so perfectly, smoothly, and zero stress or issues which is all you can ask for. If you're considered royal club, you absolutely should send it!!!

SUCH an incredible venue, staff, atmosphere, everything!!!! My husband and I were originally set to get married here in September 2024 however, when we experienced an unexpected tragedy they were so kind, understanding, and accommodating as they helped us navigate moving our wedding date. We got married May 2025 and wish we could relive that day over and over because of how incredible everything was thanks to the RGC! To this day, we still receive SO many compliments from our guests and feel so incredibly blessed that everyone enjoyed our venue and special day just as much as we did :) Annie and Meredith are so kind, very communicative, and made the stress of wedding planning so smooth and enjoyable! From the food, reception and ceremony spaces, to everything in between, I was able to have the wedding of my dreams!! The Royal Golf Club will not disappoint and is worth EVERY penny!!! :)

nd staff here were awesome! We loved working with Meredith and Annie - they were a huge part in what made this process easy and fun. Meredith was an amazing resource to us whenever I had questions or a concern, she was quick to get back to me and give me advice or tips. I utilized Meredith’s opinion in every decision I made from food and drink packages, to what to choose for decorations. I am convinced she knows everything. I wish I could hire them for everything! Annie was amazing to work with. Her kindness and responsiveness in timely manner whenever I had questions when Meredith was on maternity leave, was something that stuck out to me most. She was so helpful and sweet. Meredith and Annie worked with us on perfecting a food and beverage package to turn out exactly how we imagined. They truly made the process so easy! The venue was absolutely beautiful with the natural views and their new renovations - which made my photos turn out perfect! Not to mention, we got so many compliments on the beauty and view of this place. The new golf simulator they have was a huge hit for the groomsmen. It kept them busy in between getting ready and photos. I can’t recommend this place enough. Fortunately, my husband became obsessed with the venue and has now been begging me to become a member at the club. Royal is a must if you are in the market for breathtaking views and kind, helpful staff. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t change a thing!

We did have a couple issues leading up to our wedding day and on the day of the wedding; specifically regarding catering pricing changes and a lack of communication about specific pre-approved items to all of the staff present on our wedding day. This added stress and tension during our wedding that I feel could have been avoided/prevented. The event coordinators were very receptive to my feedback, took these shortcomings seriously, and did what they could to make things right for me after the fact, which was very much appreciated.

The large windows that overlook the course make the room feel larger than it is, provide a beautiful view, and give amazing natural light. We absolutely loved that everything was in the same location. Being able to have the dance floor, dinner, and bar all in one room made the day feel more cohesive and kept our guests together. The balcony is amazing too as it is connected & allows guests to step outside while still being part of the party. Additionally, the staff are absolutely amazing to work with. Meredith & Annie are first class wedding venue managers/event directors. They were so helpful and accommodating to our needs. They were also so responsive to our questions and emails. Their communication skills are top tier which we appreciated so much while planning a wedding. And Nate the bartender makes every wedding here fun! I cannot recommend the Royal Golf Club enough.

From start to finish, Meredith and Annie went above and beyond to communicate with us and our vendors, answer any and all questions, facilitate venue visits, and overall helped transform our wedding day vision into a reality. They are extremely professional, personable, and amazing to work with. The executive chef Christian is phenomenal, and the food was exquisite. The serving staff and bartenders were top notch and incredibly kind. The building itself is gorgeous with breathtaking views, outdoor spaces, incredible lighting, endless scenery spots for photo opps, and an open atrium/lobby for guests to visit. The bridal/groomsmen suites are updated, and equally spacious and comfortable for getting ready. There is a reason all of our vendors were thrilled to be at The Royal for our wedding day. We continue to be in awe of this venue. Meredith, Annie, and The Royal team - thank you for everything you did to make our wedding magical. We have received so many compliments and positive feedback about the venue, and would recommend it over and over again!

The wraparound balcony was a fun space for guests to enjoy cocktail hour and the course provided a breathtaking backdrop. The outdoor ceremony area by the pond was incredibly special, as it beautifully combined our love for golf and days on the water. Meredith, the venue coordinator, was truly fabulous to work with. She was always available to answer our questions and kept everything organized, ensuring the day went off without a hitch. From our first meeting, she was instantly relatable and brought a warm, kind presence that made the planning process feel personal and special. When the club announced it was going private at the beginning of 2024, we were nervous about the potential implications to our wedding day plans. The club pro was very accommodating, allowing the guys to golf as promised before the course went private, which added a unique and memorable touch to our wedding weekend. My husband and I were still able to sneak out for a quick sunset photo session on a tee box during dinner, which is a unique experience for a private golf course. Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was by Par Caterers. Then Annie took over for venue coordination when Meredith went on maternity leave and she was amazing as well! Very responsive to her emails especially as we got to closer to the wedding and answering all of my questions. The day of wedding staff was amazing! They took care of everything and the day ran so smoothly. They even put a water station out by my ceremony site due to the hot weather which I didn’t even have to ask. At dinner they were very quick with getting the food out and omg the food was amazing! We got so many compliments with the food! Overall, recommend getting married here!

. Our entire planning process was a breeze. The event coordinator, Meredith, is incredible. She is so sweet and knows everything there is to know about planning your wedding here. The Royal club does all of their own food/catering/bar which is one less vendor you need to worry about. The prices are fare and we our guests loved the food! Our bartender and serving staff were super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. We cannot recommend the Royal Golf Club and its staff enough!!

The on-site bridal suite and groomsmen lounge were perfect for getting ready, drinking coffee & mimosas, pictures, and just hanging out. Meredith and Annie were both extremely accommodating throughout the entire planning process. They were both very kind, flexible, knowledgeable, and professional. I could not have planned the wedding without Meredith. She responded quickly to emails and always provided helpful insight and suggestions. I want to plan another event here solely to work with Meredith again; she's unbeatable. I can't say enough good things about RGC. Our day was truly perfect. Everything is very transparent and organized to ensure we felt confident with every last detail going into the big day. We received so many compliments from our friends and family about how beautiful the space is and how professional the event staff, bartenders, and catering staff are! Meredith and the team were SO accommodating with all of our requests, we were even able to custom-request our food menu and the chef knocked it out of the park to ensure it was exactly what we wanted. The food was all served hot and delicious and the bartenders were amazing throughout the whole evening. We wish we could re-live the day over and over again. Meredith made our wedding planning experience so enjoyable and helped us find other vendors, recommended decor ideas, and ensured that we had everything we wanted. he entire team is responsive to questions, upfront and honest with contracts and pricing, and willing to work with you to make your vision a reality. Every one of our guests raved about the food and it truly felt like it was just us in the space even though there were golfers around. The getting ready room for the girls is stunning too. Our ceremony was out by the water and everything we could have asked for while wedding planning. It is important to ask questions and learn what they have and what they don't so you can be prepared (for example, outlets at the ceremony space but we needed to provide the microphone.) I asked and confirmed and all went perfectly!

She answered every single question I had in a very timely manner and helped me with ideas to make my visions come to life for my wedding. The day of the wedding, Meredith and the staff were so helpful with any needs of mine or my husbands. Our day went SO smoothly, I was in pure bliss the entire day thanks to Meredith and the golf club staff. The Royal Golf Club is such a beautiful venue that really speaks for itself. For starters, the bridal suite is seriously amazing! It is conveniently located right off of the reception space. There are three salon stations to get ready at which was so convenient for my makeup artists and hair stylist. It has a private bathroom as well which was super great. There are also many places to sit and relax to enjoy a nice mimosa in the suite while getting ready. The groomsmen had their suite located downstairs which also had a ton of seating space and a large TV that they utilized most of the morning while they relaxed. The Golf Club has so many beautiful spots to take photos and the ceremony spaces (inside or outside) are incredible. The reception space was laid out so nicely, and we had the option to change it up a bit to fit our vision! We received SO MANY kind words about both the ceremony space and the reception space. Our guests were in awe the whole night! I 100% recommend having your wedding at The Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo. We feel so blessed to have worked with such a wonderful team. from start to finish. We got so many compliments on this venue, the food, and staff. They have the BEST bartenders - outgoing, fun to work with, and all of our guests got their drinks FAST. We had some bad weather the day of the wedding and the staff did very well at communicating with us throughout the day and coming up with another plan to have the ceremony inside. I really appreciated them being so flexible for the day of our wedding. HUGE THANK YOU to Meredith and everyone who helped support our wedding day at the Royals. I highly recommend having your wedding or event here.

She was flexible, accommodating, kind, knowledgeable, and reassuring. She was dealing with two very indecisive people, so we leaned on her experience and expertise to help guide us through the decision-making process. Everything went perfectly on the day of the wedding. I used to cringe at the cliché saying "best day ever," but I finally get it! We honestly had the most epic day ever. Meredith and the rest of the team checked in consistently throughout the day, ensuring we had everything we needed. Our guests RAVED about the venue. I can't tell you how many people asked, "How did you find this place?" They were highly impressed by the venue's beauty and the staff's professionalism. Some of our family golfed on the wedding day and had a great experience on the course. Needless to say, we had an outstanding experience, and we cannot give the Royal Golf Club a high enough rating. We would HIGHLY recommend it!

edith at the golf club was such a huge help answering my many questions I had leading up to our day! On our very hot day, she made sure all the guests had bottles of water, something that was not on my mind and she took care of it! The food was INCREDIBLE!! So many guests complimented the food telling us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding! We are so glad we chose the buffet style! Nate the bartender was so much fun, the guests loved interacting with him! What originally sold us on booking this venue was that we could have our dog there, such a huge bonus for us! We are so happy with our day and so glad we chose The Royal Golf Club!

The staff got all their meals packaged up to go and didn’t miss a beat when a few people switched tables to fill in empty seats so no one sat alone. Truly a blessing to have them helping us through en evening of mixed emotions.

Executive Chef Christian Ticarro was personable and assisted us in picking out our menu which was delicious. The wait staff were friendly and professional, and Nate the bartender was a hoot and kept everyone entertained at the bar! The entire property is gorgeous and ensures an elegant wedding any time of year.

The catered food was delicious, we offered plated options and each plate came out individually covered and the food was fresh and hot! The reception venue is beautiful and has a simple elegance, while the outdoor ceremony space charms nestled between the golf greens and a picturesque lake. ad seen done previously. She even accommodated some odd ball requests for the ceremony and worked with my mom and I seamlessly on payment. My husband was able to golf in the morning with his whole wedding party and shower & get ready at the venue. We had lunch provided by the club which was delicious and helped keep the energy for the day going. The bar was also open during the day so it gave plus one's and family members a place to hang out when pictures were happening. The outdoor ceremony location exceeded our expectations and the club was able to provide a golf cart to the space for our disabled and health compromised guests. The food was incredible and served plated to our expectations from the food tasting. Our guests are still raving about our selection of late night treats too! I cannot recommend this venue & Meredith enough to everyone!

Meredith worked with us and our budget and she exceeded our expectations throughout the whole planning process. She was very attentive, answered all of our questions, and worked really hard the day of to make sure our needs were met. Meredith is the person you'd want on your team during your planning and day of process because of the expertise she provides. We are also golfers so it was a perk to play a few rounds the week of our wedding to take it all in. The course is absolutely beautiful, we were blessed to have great weather for our outdoor ceremony, and the indoor reception area worked perfectly for us and our guests. the Royal Club were! We truly couldn’t have gotten through planning a wedding during the Covid pandemic without Meredith! She was always so positive, answered all our constant questions and made sure our day was absolutely perfect, even through many changes! She really is the best and we are so grateful to her! The Royal Club is also a really gorgeous venue, we loved having our ceremony by the water, and hosting a cocktail hour outside! We have the most wonderful memories of our day! And so do our friends and family!
