. He gave us access to an app that was easy to add songs to, and he stuck mostly to songs we had put in ourselves, and the few songs he played outside of our list during dancing (we said he didn't have to stick strictly to our playlist) were good songs that got people dancing. Twice during dancing there was an electrical issue (not his fault, a venue thing) and he got it handled very quickly both times. We had requested beforehand that we didn't want the music to get too loud, and he did great with that as well. Royal got pretty much everybody dancing, and we would definitely recommend his services.
Royal Lewis was also very proactive in responding to our questions during the planning process and accommodated all of our requests! Highly recommend!

weather conditions, and Royal helpfully visited the venue the week before to get a lay of the land, speak with the coordinator, and make sure he was ready to go whatever the conditions on wedding day. At the actual wedding, Royal kept things flowing, was responsive to our requests, and kept folks on the dance floor all night. Thanks Royal for your services--it was a night to remember!

or the groom and myself. His platform for entering first dance/special dance songs and providing him with everyone's names was simple and self-explanatory. ute blast. He is very dedicated to his job, can read the room well, and can easily handle multiple musical styles. He is also the consummate professional - he promptly responded to all my questions and emails, and was the first to show up and last to leave at my wedding. He even helped with a last-minute request for a special remix I wanted for the dance I did with my mother! Finally, his pricing is very fair and a fantastic deal for the Raleigh-Durham area especially. Royal was one of my favorite vendors for my wedding, and I'm so glad I chose him to DJ the most important day of my life.
