I asked for a price for preservation of my wedding dress $399.00 for the acid-free container, the standard industry Keepsake box with a viewing window. It can re-acidify over time, however. $499.00 for the museum-quality (archival) container, which cannot re-acidify, and is insect-proof, waterproof, and impervious to UV damage. I told that guy that was crazy and I found an acid-free box on amazon for 35 bucks. This is what he responded with Unfortunately, I find that insulting and combative; something I would not have expected from an adult woman. Perhaps you should purchase it there; and do all the hand spotting, cleaning, inspections, mending, and boxing yourself, that we do here. We are a quality, professional, and reliable service if you care to fit us into your budget. If not, I understand. I told him I was going to post his unpforessional email and he said perhaps you should be careful to slander or libel when it can be connected back to you in a digital format such as e-mails. Wow, just wow. I would not trust these people with your wedding dress!
