Royal Makeup and Hair did an amazing job for our DC wedding! We loved how everyone looked on our big day and they were very professional.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The Savannah, Georgia team is incredible. Lauren (Norton) and Von provided the most stunning hair and makeup for my wedding. They were both receptive to our preferred looks, made suggestions along the way, and kept the atmosphere calm and laidback for the morning. Their final looks made us all feel beautiful, elegant, and confident. Our hair held beautifully after an outdoor ceremony in May, with minimal makeup wear by the end of the night as well. Truly cannot recommend their talent enough!

I traveled to CO for my elopement and found RM&H through here on the Knot. They were really responsive and super helpful while I figured out timing and location. Espi was my stylist, she showed up bright and early and was very sweet and made me feel really comfortable even though it was just me, her, and my fiancé in the room! It was really quiet and relaxed and perfect. My makeup and hair was awesome!!! I loved it SO much and she kept double checking with me to make sure everything was working. She even helped me get my dress on. The prices weren’t that bad either! Would 100% work with them again.

I used Royal Hair and Makeup for my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as for my bridesmaids. I had a great experience! My hair and makeup artist was Espi, and she did great. I did one hair trial and two makeup trials with her. Royal and Espi were very flexible with when we could schedule these, as I live out of state and could only do these when I was in CO (very rarely)- but they made it easy! I did both of my trials at Espi's house as Royal is a travel HMU company. She got my hair PERFECT on the first try, and then did it the same day off! I had never gotten my makeup done before, and didn't really know what to ask for, which is why I did two makeup trials. But that is also what trials are for! For the first makeup trial, we did air brush makeup, but I did not think that went well with my oily skin and was a bit nervous as to how that would stay up throughout the day. I came back for a second makeup trial, brought my own makeup that I know works for my skin, and it worked out great! We ended up going with that makeup- Espi was so kind, understanding, flexible, and fun to talk to. My last makeup trial was about 3 days before my wedding, but I wasn't worried about it at all since I knew I was in good hands. Day of, we had 3 women there doing hair and makeup for me, the two mothers, a flower girl, and 5 bridesmaids. We could not get into the venue until 11am for a 4:30pm wedding, so I thought it would be a bit rushed, but it wasn't! Everyone was so professional, calm, and fun to talk to. They did a great job on everyones hair and makeup, taking into considerations people's wishes and wants, and comfortability with getting HMU done. I would highly recommending working with them, especially for their price point. I went with Royal at first because of their price point, but I am very glad that I did.

I had a great experience with Royal Makeup & Hair based in Colorado Springs! My wedding was at 11am so we had a super early service starting at 6am for myself (bride) and 4 others. Both providers arrived on time and energized. They both listened to my notes from my trial and executed everything to perfection. All the ladies looked amazing even with a variety of different looks. The MUA (Jennifer) was so gentle and was able to really enhance our natural beauty (especially important for a freckly girl)! The hair stylist (Espi) was incredible in executing both a beautiful effortless messy bun and also sleek hollywood waves. They both dealt with a variety of hair and skin textures wonderfully. My only note on planning, is that we did go over time by about 30 minutes, so plan some buffer in your timeline.

I highly recommend using Royal Makeup & Hair. They were very professional and timely on getting back to me. Espi did such an amazing job on my hair and makeup on my trial and wedding day! She made my special day memorable.

I used Royal Makeup & Hair Services for my destination wedding in Savannah and could not have been happier with the results!! Lauren was great with planning, scheduling, and her hair & makeup skills were AMAZING!! I felt so stunning all day and it was so nice having her on standby for touch-ups and a look change! Emily and Kimmy were also incredible! I had a large bridal party with 9 bridesmaids and 2 mothers that’s got services and every single one was extremely happy with how theirs turned out! I LOVED using Royal Makeup and Hair for my wedding! I had a very small wedding (only 4 of us needed our hair done) and the stylist was awesome! There was quick communication through email and text before the day of the ceremony, making sure we had a schedule that worked for everyone and having enough time to get all the pre-wedding things done without stressing about time! I was able to send examples of what I wanted beforehand as well so the stylist and I could be on the same page! Our stylist also did a great job keeping me up-to-date the day of about when they were on their way and when they were 5 minutes out from our venue. So accommodating! Our hair turned out amazing as well, and just as I hoped it would!

They managed a bride, 6 bridesmaids and two mothers with absolute ease on my wedding day! I cannot say enough wonderful things about our artists, Crystal, Mysty and Julie. Fabulous group of ladies to work with!! Lauren was so helpful and so quick to respond to messages throughout the planning process. Kylee did my bridal makeup and Rebekah did my bridal hair. I was absolutely OBSESSED with how they both turned out! Not only did I feel like a bride but I felt like me which was something really important for me. They both also had lovely personalities that I loved having around me to start my wedding day. My hair and makeup stayed perfectly in tact for the entire long 12 hour day which truly shocked me. Would absolutely recommend!

Michelle Royal and her team are fantastic! As the bride, I worked with Georgeanna and she is amazing! On the wedding day, I committed the cardinal sin of asking her to switch up my style from what we did at my trial run and she not only did it but nailed it and didn't even give me any side eye! She stuck with me through all the photos making sure not only every hair was in place and make-up on point, but she fluffed my dress and veil...she was on top of it! My girls were tended to by her as well as Rebekah, Meagan, and at the last minute, Kimmy because, of course, I had another last-minute curveball! My mothers-in-law wanted in on the action and Michelle was able to make it happen! I can't say enough about how professional and talented this team is! I didn't worry about myself of any of my girls with this crew and they made us all look and feel amazing! I highly recommend hiring them for any hair/make up needs!

We hired three stylists with Royal Makeup & Hair for our Savannah wedding in November. Not only did Lauren and the girls pivot to a new location after a transformer blew, causing a power outage 30 min before the were set to begin hair and makeup for 10 people, they made each and every person in our wedding party (including our moms) look beyond beautiful. I used Royal in Savannah, GA. My artist (Crystal) was amazing and professional throughout the entire process! She looked at my inspiration pictures for all of 3 seconds before she was able to perfectly recreate exactly what I wanted. I really felt like she could do anything! My mom has cancer and she was even able to make it look like she had eyebrows and eyelashes and helped her feel comfortable the whole time. The manager was also helpful, I received a detailed hair and makeup timeline a few weeks before the big day. I highly recommend using their skilled team for your special day!

Kimmy with Royal Hair and Makeup was everything we could ask for and more! She followed our inspiration pictures exactly and made the entire wedding party feel beautiful. She stayed with us the entire day and offered touch ups throughout the day. Our hair and makeup lasted all night long. I am so glad I found Royal for makeup and hair services for my wedding day! I was able to schedule a trial with Johanna , since she would be doing my hair and makeup on wedding day, who was such a joy! She is so sincere and I loved getting to know her during my trial. I usually wear NO makeup so I was very hesitant about who I would be working with on my wedding day. But she truly did such an amazing job and I am so thankful to have found her. She was totally open to feedback when I didn't love the lip color she used and was able to modify my hair on the day of the wedding after we made a few notes during the trial. I truly looked like the best version of myself and my makeup felt natural and exactly what I wanted. The other artists who worked with Johanna on wedding day for my bridesmaids and mothers also did an outstanding job. They were open to feedback and were willing to make changes with no issue. They also were ahead of schedule all morning which was CRUCIAL to not feeling stressed/rushed the morning of the wedding. Such a great group!!

The ladies at Royal Makeup & Hair are very talented! I had my trial with Johanna, who was an absolute sweetheart. She gave me guidance on how to take care of my makeup during the wedding day (don't rub your face, just tap). Johanna did a great job the day of the wedding; I never felt so beautiful and glowing. She also helped me calm my nerves when I started getting a little anxious. Crystal also did an amazing job with my mother-in-law's makeup and the flower girls' hair. I worked with Michelle Royal and 2 of her team members, Morelia and Reem. I was more than a little stressed trying to book makeup and hair for both myself and the entire bridal party in a COVID world about a month before the wedding. Fortunately, Michelle had availability and came through like a rock star. On the morning of the wedding, the team came to the church fully prepared. They worked efficiently and were very kind to all of our bridal party. Multiple bridesmaids said that they had never felt so beautiful before, and several commented that they felt like the hair and makeup artists were magic. Speaking for myself, I was overjoyed with Michelle's ability to take my inspiration pictures and make them real on me so well. She styled and color matched skillfully and had me feeling like a queen. They were such a hit that several bridesmaids asked for their contact info for future work. Highly recommend!

Royal Hair and Make up was a pleasure to work with at my daughter's wedding. We had two different ceremonies and they came out for both. For the first ceremony, we were not sure how we wanted to do her hair and they were patient with us. We actually had the do 2 tests. But on the wedding day the hair was executed to perfection. It was exactly what my daughter wanted. Then they came back the next morning, and were able t do something completely different but again perfection! The makeup both days was perfect. We started early in the morning and It stayed on all night. The wedding ended at 11:30 and we still had our makeup! I would highly recommend Royal hair and Makeup!!

I chose Royal because they seemed to have a lot of experience and their photos showcased what I was looking for in terms of makeup style (natural with a touch of dramatic flair--nothing too trendy but more than my normal day-to-day). Going in to my trial, I was a little nervous, because I wanted a big, dramatic high ponytail for my wedding hair. And Michelle DELIVERED!! I felt like I was being (probably annoyingly) vague about what I liked..."Brownish purple eyeshadow? A cat eye, usually? A big ponytail?" and somehow Michelle knew exactly what I was going for and nailed the entire look. It was exactly how I had envisioned it in my head, down to my giant "party pony!" She also offered a huge variety of makeup, lip colors, false eyelashes, etc. She talked me through everything and made sure I was happy with absolutely everything down to the tiny details. Before the wedding day, Michelle was responsive and very flexible with our timeline, helping me nail down some details and working with the needs of a fairly large group (7 total needing hair and makeup). On the wedding day, Michelle brought Ariana with her--Michelle did all hair, plus my hair and makeup, and Ariana did everyone else's makeup. Ariana checked to make sure she knew what I wanted for everyone in order to have a cohesive but individual look and Michelle yet again knocked my hair and makeup out of the park. Both women were so easy to work with, put us all at ease (day-of jitters!), talked and laughed with us, worked efficiently, and kept us right on schedule--we finished with time to spare, even after a last round of touch-ups! My hair and makeup lasted through the after party and looked fabulous all day and night. Nothing felt uncomfortable or heavy and it looks incredible in pictures. I wholeheartedly recommend Royal Makeup & Hair!

Michelle and Morelia were PHENOMENAL! They did such an amazing job with hair and makeup. All my bridesmaids were beautifully dolled up for my big day, and they were so much fun while getting us ready! Will absolutely be working with them again for future events!

I contacted Michelle to do my hair and make up for my wedding on Sept. 12th. She was very responsive and helpful with my questions. On the day of the wedding we had my mother, sister and myself to get ready for hair and make up. She sent Crystal to take care of us. She is AMAZING!! Royal Makeup & Hair was amazing!! I booked with them less than 6 weeks before my wedding date (our wedding location changed due to COVID), and Michelle was quick to respond, accommodating, and very helpful in answering all of my questions. I worked with Katelyn (hair) and Emily (makeup), and they were both wonderful. They captured my bridal vision perfectly, and all of my bridesmaids and mother-of-the-bride loved their looks. They were both so sweet and professional. Also, my wedding day was in early August, and I have to say, Emily did such an amazing job of making sure my makeup held all day. Between the Savannah heat/humidity and the amount of wedding day tears shed, I thought there was no way my makeup could withstand that, but I was wrong and absolutely amazed that my makeup still looked perfect at the end of the night. Royal Makeup and Hair was a wonderful company to work with for hair and makeup on my wedding day. Three stylists came to our home to do hair and makeup for myself, six bridesmaids and two mothers. Every person wanted a different style and look, and they were able to accommodate everyone's wishes easily. They were professional, stuck to our timeline, and were very nice. Katelyn did my makeup and hair, and she was able to give me some great options to decide how I wanted my makeup done. The pricing was also reasonable. Would definitely recommend for a Savannah wedding.

Royal Hair & Makeup were wonderful! I first met with Shea for the trial who just by seeing two photos perfectly captured my dream look for my wedding day. On the wedding day, all artists were early and kept us ahead of schedule on hair and makeup. The airbrush makeup is the way to go!! We had our wedding in mid-June and all of our makeup lasted through the hot & muggy photographs outside and throughout the reception. I also appreciate that they were able to listen to each girls’ wishes and on the spot do their hair and makeup exactly how they want while still look natural and beautiful.

Michelle was very easy to work with and always gave a quick and timely response. I didn't have a worry the day of the wedding since Michelle put together a timeline for myself, 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother in law to get their hair done, along with myself, 3 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother in law to get their make up done. I am more than pleased with the hair and makeup services my girls and I received from Sarah. She did an excellent job with my Maid of Honor and one of my bridesmaids hair and they both turned out beautiful and exactly like the reference photos the girls brought with them. Sarah was patient with me with a last minute change up (went from flowers in my hair to an old fancy hairband of my grandmother's that my mom found just a week or two before the wedding and well after my trial). She placed the piece two different way to be sure I would get exactly the look I wanted. Sarah was so much fun, gave fun makeup and hair tips and tricks throughout, and a quick low down on the benefits of investing in an airbrush makeup kit. We all just loved having her there, and our hair and makeup withstood the sun and fun at our outdoor venue.

We all had time to drink coffee, munch, chat on the porch, do a puzzle, and really soak in the day. She is such a joy to chat with during your services, and she expertly did my hair and makeup the way I was hoping from the pictures I shared with her. I did a trial with her before my engagement photos which she completely nailed, and then I sprung a last minute decision to change my hair on my wedding day to surprise my husband which she again knocked out of the park. I'm so glad I had her around all day for touch ups because I cried ugly tears during my wedding day. I've never looked or felt more beautiful! I love Lauren K and you will too!!

Johanna and Monica were a great team and the entire bridal party and bride were extremely pleased with the results. The dry run is worth every penny for your nervous bride.

She provided timely quotes and a full schedule for my wedding day. Shea and Chrissy were both great artists as well. They did a great job with both our hair and make-up and were full of suggestions and advice when any of us were unsure of what we wanted. The artist was super friendly. I really LOVED my wedding day makeup and all of the girls make up looked great too! I was a little disappointed with my hair. It wasn't quite what I wanted. I had an up-do and specifically said I wanted the low bun out to the side but it turned out more centered and there was not enough time to fix it. The bun it self seemed slightly different from my trial. I felt like it was a little rushed because she had another wedding immediately after mine (just like it was the day of my trial). Also, disappointed with the flower girl's hair. I don't know why anyone would curl a 5-year-old's hair first because by the time everyone else's hair and make up was completed, the flower girl's hair was flat and looked like a hot mess. My bridesmaid had to re-do her hair so I felt like that was a total waste of money. Overall, services for trial and day of were pricey.

Katelyn and Julie did a trial and the wedding day and were so professional and easy to work with. Michelle was also easy to communicate with and could accommodate changes easily.
