Your wedding should sound like you—from the first dance to the song your guests refuse to leave without.
Royal Mangham Entertainment provides wedding DJ and MC services throughout Detroit and the surrounding metro area. Led by Robert Mangham, professionally known as DJ Brain Surgeon, we bring more than a decade of DJ and event entertainment experience to celebrations that deserve a personal touch.
Our approach starts with your taste, your people, and the atmosphere you want to create. Whether you envision a romantic evening with timeless soul, a lively reception filled with R&B and hip-hop, or a mix of classics and current favorites that brings generations together, we shape the music around you. Detroit ballroom and hustle favorites are welcome, too.
Great wedding entertainment goes beyond the playlist. It takes reading the room, making clear announcements, knowing when to build the energy, and knowing when to let a meaningful moment breathe. We bring confident hosting and thoughtful music selection while keeping the spotlight on you and your guests.
We work with couples to understand their must-play songs, do-not-play requests, special dances, and reception plans. Professional sound, an organized approach, and attention to the flow of your celebration help you spend more time enjoying the people you brought together.
Additional services include uplighting and photo booth options to complement your reception.
Tell us your wedding date, venue, and what your ideal celebration feels like. Let’s create a night that feels like yours.
