We worked with Royal Palace Dance Studio to help choreograph our first dance at our wedding. We signed up for a package of 10 lessons, which I feel was the perfect amount where we ...
didn’t feel rushed. Our dance instructor for all lessons, Marcia, was so kind, patient, and great to work with. Neither my husband or I are dancers, but Marcia was able to help us feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor. We loved our experience here and hope to return again in the future!
My family attended Royal Palace Dance Studio in preparation for my June 2023 wedding - we purchased a set of 10 lessons and shared them between preparation for Father-Daughter danc...
e and Newlywed First dance. We did all of our lessons with Maia, who was a fantastic, enthusiastic, and fun instructor! He asked and listened to our hopes for the dances, and helped us to put together dances that reflected our relationships and made us feel confident. We weren't looking for anything too choreographed, and Maia helped us hit the perfect balance - we were even dancing through the song within the first few lessons! We had a fantastic time, everything went off wonderfully on the day, and we are so grateful to Maia and Royal Palace Dance Studio!
We worked with Bethany and Julia, and they were both AMAZING. Bethany choreographed our dance and listened to what we wanted and didn’t want in a dance. Julia put the final touches...
on and helped us practice to perfection!
On a whim, we booked an introductory lesson to be able to be competent and have a reasonable "sway" for our first dance.
Best decision ever. We were able to work with Bethany, who...
recommended a lesson package for us to be able to get a personalized first dance with us. She was extremely flexible and built our first dance piece by piece, not only based on our selected song, but each of our abilities. It was a hit and a blast to do amidst the wedding planning stress!
If anyone is looking to have dance lessons or a choreographed first dance, I would recommend her to anyone!
We booked 20 lessons with Royal Palace and were so happy we did! Within 2 lessons we realized this would be an incredible dance. We worked most often with Lara as we loved her ener...
gy, style and attention to detail. After 16 lessons we were set, so we used our remaining lessons for the Father-Daughter dance with Dad. Our first dance was a highlight of the wedding, and our guests were blown away! We especially loved the way that our dance was designed to highlight the movement of the dress. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to highlight their first dance, even if they’re not dancers!!
There is not enough space in this box to write about the amazing patience, creativity, and absolute beauty that this studio entails - or the amount of work they put into what shoul...
d be the simplest of creations. Chelsea worked with us completely on her own (with the exception of Rose who was absolutely amazing as well) to create a dance from scratch, with limited direction from us outside of our song...lol That woman has the patience of saint! I'm sure that she's sick of hearing that same country intro by now, but we can never express our gratitude for what turned out to be the best Saturday afternoons and the amazing moment we took the stage as newlyweds. The lessons were both fun and purposeful; the guidance was patient and kind, and the end result was more than I think either of us ever could've hoped for. We cannot say enough AMAZING things about this studio, our darling Chelsea, Rose who was SO helpful even in the two visits we worked with her, the beautiful open space to work in,... it would take a lifetime to try to put into words how this may have been the ABSOLUTE BEST INVESTMENT we made into our wedding... Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
We wanted to have a different kind of first dance, not something that you just sway from side to side. We wanted something that everyone would remember! So Jeremiah gave us some gr...
eat ideas and we had some crazy ones of our own to try! He was all for it, and taught us how to achieve what was had in mind and to really have fun with it. Well for our wedding we had a slow song at first which we danced the waltz to then skipped right into a shake señora from pit bull which really shocked everyone! But we did great! My groom who doesn't dance fast, pulled it off!!! When we look at the pictures we can see our guests with big smiles on their faces while watching us. They really enjoyed watching us do our thing, it was something that we will always remember.
We waited a little too late for dance lessons but the staff did an amazing job teaching us a quick routine. They were very friendly and excited to work with us. Miah was my favorit...
e. We will be going back for date night.
My wife and I went as a free consultation and ended up signing up for a few extra classes. The price was a little more than we wanted to pay but for the couple lessons we took our ...
dance was definitely something to remember. Lauren, our instructor was silly with us and gave us all the right direction in a friendly and respectful way. We had way too much fun at our lessons but still felt confident in our dancing. :-)
