Royal Weddings by Top Chef Kevin Washington

the day of our event, none of our expectations were met. He showed up 2 hours late, he did not have all items from our menu as agreed, and the food was not prepared on time and per our recipes for our guests. We received several complaints regarding the quality and the taste of food. On day 2 (of 3) Kevin was still running late and didn't have all of the food items to fulfill the menu. Kevin did get things on track by the end of day 2 and day 3 went fine, but he was serving as a contractor under our business name and we received several complaints about "our" company's food because of him. The only good part in our contract with him was that we paid half up front + $$ for initial food purchases. The rest of the payment was made after the event was over including receipts for all additional food purchases. We were fortunate because he did not provide the service and menu as promised and thus we didn't have to chase him down in court to get some of our money back. In the end we paid him $200 less than the full service amount, given the hits to our reputation due to the lack of food and the awful quality our customers suffered.
