Johnny (the band leader) was very communicative and open to all of our ideas--the band happily learned several new songs and started a conga line to help move the party from the dinner tent to the dancing tent.
We emphasized that we wanted the dance party to be high energy and nonstop, and they truly delivered. We covered a 20x40 ft backyard pool to create the dance floor, so it was more than double the typical size for 125 guests. Despite that, it remained full all night long!
Every conversation with guests since the wedding has involved discussion of how fantastic the band was. At the end of the wedding one guest told us "I have no idea how much this band cost but I can't imagine a better use of the money--they were amazing!" and I can't put it any better myself.
Royal X made the planning process easy with video calls and emails in advance, coordinated a seemingly seamless setup (despite the limitations of setting up alongside the other vendors in a backyard on the morning of the wedding), and beyond delivered with a fabulous, high energy performances. Even more incredibly, the band members all seemed to be truly enjoying themselves the entire time, which I think made for an even better experience for us and our guests.
