She not only grasped my vision but also periodically checked in leading up to the wedding, crafting a detailed timeline. I wish I could give Rachael 6 stars! The photos she took were incredible. I was completely blown away by them. They were exactly the style I wanted. My husband and I are not very comfortable in front of a camera and she made it so fun and easy. Her photos let us relive our wedding day because she captured the feeling of the day so well. She was really helpful in planning our timeline in order to get all the photos we wanted while keeping the day fun and relaxed. In addition, she got us our sneak peaks within a week of our wedding! And got the rest of the photos to us within 4 weeks. I recommend her whole heartedly. Book her now!

Working with Rachael was a dream! She made me feel confident, beautiful, and so relaxed on my wedding day. She knew exactly how to pose us to get the right angles and as someone who is extremely awkward in front of a camera, made me feel so comfortable. This review is long overdue, but Rachael was our photographer for our wedding last year and we loved her! From the start, she was very responsive and had great communication. She worked with us to customize a package that fit our needs, and she was so helpful answering any questions we had throughout our planning process. On our wedding day, she was so kind and easy to work with. Her calming presence put us at ease and allowed us to really be in the moment and enjoy our day and time together for our first look and other couple photos. The whole day we were in good hands with Rachael (and assistant Paul). We appreciated their guidance and willingness to capture any silly shots we had in mind. The photos turned out so beautifully, and Rachael was really able to capture the magic we felt that day in them. My fiance and I booked Rachael for our engagement shoot and from beginning to end, she was a pleasure to work with! She's accommodating, kind, and professional.. and the quality and style of her photos were the vibe I was hoping for. My fiance and I don't know how to pose together in front of a camera and are often times super awkward... but Rachael showed patience, made us feel comfortable, and made helpful suggestions without being pushy. Rachael's love for her craft really shows in the way she made one of our chosen photo destinations, a hole in the wall burger spot, look so stylish and cool! Rachael took both our wedding and engagement photos and we could not be more happy with the results! During our engagement session, it felt natural to be around her and she made us comfortable during the shoot. She knew how to direct us and already had poses and ideas in mind to help facilitate the photoshoot. I knew after our engagement session that during my wedding day, there would be no question that I would be in good hands. During our wedding day, she was so kind enough to always fix my train during the photos! She also made my bridal party comfortable with the poses that she was capturing. During our private exchange of vows, she was still taking photos, but provided the privacy that my husband and I wanted during that time. The best part about working with Rachael is how punctual she is especially with the galleries! She over delivered and was always done with the gallery before the expected date. It was a pleasure to work with Rachael and I can't wait to hire here again for future photography sessions!

Rachael was absolutely wonderful to work with! Rachael is organized, calm and has an incredible skill with a camera. On the day of our wedding Rachael brought calm and peace everywhere she went. I am generally a type A stress ball, but Rachael helped keep us on time, was super efficient and was on top of it all. We were really unlucky with the weather in San Diego on our wedding day. A high if 98 in the middle of a heat wave! It was incredible stressful and honestly uncomfortable for so many people to be dressed up and standing in the sun. Rachael worked really quickly, delivered every shot we wanted and more, and helped keep everyone comfortable. Lastly, and maybe most importantly - Rachael has such a wonderful eye for photography. I didn’t want just everyday wedding photos that looked like stock photos. I wanted incredibly candid, artfully shot and edited photos that truly captured the day. There are shots with angles that Rachael delivered that I never would have known to ask for. Thank you SO much Rachael for capturing our day. I am already looking forward to the couples and family shoots we’ll have in the future.

I found Rachael from a mutual friend who had used her for engagement photos. I immediately was obsessed with the way her photos came out so I booked a mini 30 min session with Rachael. Once we got our photos back they were beyond AMAZING!!

We hired Rachael for our engagement and wedding day photos. Coordinating logistics and timing details for our destination wedding was a very smooth process with her. Despite a small hiccup in our engagement session scheduling, we are very happy with Rachael's professionalism and clear experience, attention to detail, and willingness to always hop on a call to answer our questions. During our engagement shoot, neither of us are comfortable in front of a camera, but Rachael gave us plenty of pose ideas and helped us relax, which really showed on the photos. On our wedding day, we were grateful to have Rachael's calm presence throughout the day, and we were so impressed that she was able to take such beautiful, meaningful photos while being completely un-intrusive. Her turnaround time is very quick (2 days for engagement photos, 5 weeks for wedding photos), and her editing style is very light, airy, natural, and timeless. We, and both our families, absolutely love the photos, and we would highly recommend Rachael to prospective couples!

You have to hire this angel! I’m usually pretty awkward and she made me look like a model. She was guiding, but never pushy and captured so many intimate and candid moments. She was so sweet, professional, and open to whatever we needed. I would pick her again in a heartbeat.
