And that photobox means something. It is the box behind my name, a virtual box filled with more than 17 years of photographs, stories and experience that backs every wedding I take on. Born in Costa Rica and trained as a journalist, I have worked in TV and documentary projects in Iceland, Nepal and Europe, and photographed more than 50 weddings across Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. Everything inside that box taught me something simple. The best photographs are not posed, they are noticed. I photograph weddings by the moment, not by the hour. The breath before the vows. A father pretending he is not crying. The light that touches the dress for just one second. I look for what is really happening, not the same photo everyone else takes. My style is cinematic, clean and elegant, inspired by European wedding photography, with architecture, light, composition and real emotion, and a magazine quality finish. I get involved. We talk before the day so I understand who you are and what matters to you. I arrive early, at no extra cost, to study the venue and the light. On the day, I cover the whole story, from getting ready, details, the dress and suits, the food and the venue, to portraits, family groups and the party. I do not count photos. Every image worth keeping is yours, with no extra charge. Why delivery matters. The excitement of your wedding should not fade while you wait months for your photos. Within one week you will receive a first preview to share with family and friends. Within three weeks you will have your complete gallery, fully edited in high resolution, plus a few extras I love to surprise couples with. Fast, yes. Rushed, never. Every image is reviewed and edited with care, because I like to imagine it printed and hung in a special place in your home. I work in English and Spanish, so bilingual and multicultural weddings feel natural for everyone, from the couple to the grandparents. Based in Potomac, Maryland, I serve the entire DC metro area and I am happy to travel. I have also photographed weddings in Costa Rica. Professional gear means I am ready for dark churches, bright gardens and crowded dance floors alike. But the camera is only the tool. What I really bring is a different eye, deep respect for your day, and the joy of doing what I love. Your wedding happens once.
