We worked with Roy for our wedding in June and he was one of the easiest, kindest vendors to work with! He is incredibly professional, was so personable, and made an effort to introduce himself and chat with us a bit on our wedding day. He was on time, flexible with scheduling, and super responsive to our emails. Cannot recommend his services enough!

Chris DJ’d our wedding. Did the ceremony with microphones, a cocktail hour, and reception with lights. The venue had some power problems, but RSP was able to roll right through it with no disruption to the event. The music was fantastic. Even the eclectic music requests were granted and seamlessly integrated. Chris was highly engaged through the whole process and the guests loved the presentation.

Roy DJ'ed for our wedding and we can't say enough good things about him. We truly enjoyed working with him and our guests had a great time at our wedding! Roy created the reception atmosphere we had asked him for. He took all of our requests and made them a reality. Would highly recommend RSP entertainment for your wedding! Working with Roy was a stress free experience!

Roy was an effortless and incredible DJ for our wedding. Our wedding had such a variety of current hits, country, acoustic, and Mexican party music which Roy was able to blend perfectly and managed to keep everyone on the dance floor the entire night!! His skills are so evident and anyone who chooses to work with him will be so thankful. I couldn’t be happier!

RSP Entertainment was the life of the party at our reception! From our first initial correspondence, to our wedding reception, Roy was professional, efficient, and on top of things. We chose the platinum package. We loved the uplighting, the energy, and how our guests could request songs. Do not hesitate to book them! There are many DJ companies out there and while it's challenging to compare all of them, RSP Entertainment is cost effective, professional, personable, and truly seeks to please the bride and groom!

Russel and his wife were such a joy to work with. All of our guests and vendors commented on the quality of the sound, the music selection and the ambiance of the up lighting. Our music selection was fairly uncommon, and RSP was able to capture our vision perfectly. The photo booth was a great success and our guests loved having fun in front of the camera. The ‘booth’ blended in perfectly next to the DJ table. We hope to work with RSP again for future events.

The entire RSP team was amazing from beginning to end. Russ was our DJ and he was phenomenal. He had the dance floor packed all night and played the best songs. I can't recommend them enough.

Roy was absolutely incredible!!! I heard great things about him from a friend and he 100% lived up to the hype! He made sure all of the transitions were smooth and kept the party going all night. He was so kind and easy to work with as well! Our venue coordinator told both my husband and I separately that he was one of the best DJ’s he’d seen at their venue. An amazing job from Russ! He did our same sex wedding on May 8th, 2021. He really catered to our style of music and had the perfect playlists ready to go. He will play any song you request. He was very professional and made our wedding even more special with the up-lighting that we got in our package. Really worth it and this company will not disappoint no matter which DJ you go with!

Rsp was recommended to me by many people and for good reason! John was our dj and he was wonderful! So easy to work with! I had a pretty set vision on our ceremony music and left it pretty much up to him for the reception and everything was perfect!!!

Madison DJed our 10/10/20 wedding and she was amazing!! All of my guests raved about her and stayed on the dance floor all night long. The owner of RSP is also so accommodating and organized. We booked with them pretty last minute and he was able to not only send us a great dj, but also sent guides for the ceremony and reception that made it so easy to share what songs we’d like and customize our wedding. I can’t recommend them enough, definitely book with them if they are available for your date!!

We recently used RSP Entertainment’s DJ services for our wedding at the Taubman Museum. They offered competitive pricing for very experienced DJs and top of the line equipment. They provided a lot of assistance during the planning process and listened to how we envisioned the evening going. RSP even worked with us as we made significant changes to the wedding plan due to COVID. Scott was our DJ for the night and he executed everything perfectly. He played all of our requested songs with on point timing during the ceremony and then a nice mix of music throughout the reception. Our reception was very small but he was still able to get everyone moving when the time was right. We highly recommend RSP Entertainment.

Wow did we ever make the right decision with RSP Entertainment. First of all, so professional prior to the wedding day -even before it had to be rescheduled. Russ was amazing. I was able to give him a last minute instruction about where to start a song, 5 minutes before my daughter walked down the aisle, and he did exactly that. He was an expert the entire evening in announcements and song choices. What more could you want!!!

RSP was amazing to work with! They were responsive, reliable, and flexible when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. I felt like they were organized and I didn’t have to worry about anything on our wedding day. The music selection was perfect and everyone had a really great time!

We were BEYOND pleased with RSP. Roy was so amazing and easy to work with. He was great at getting the party going and did an amazing job making the venue beautiful with the DJ setup and uplights. I highly recommend him and we literally had zero complaints about his service.

My husband and I got married on June 8, 2019 at The Maridor. John was our DJ for the night and we couldn't have been happier! He set up meetings with us to insure we got everything we wanted played. He discussed style of music, genre, specific songs, the flow of the evening, etc. All of the guests were pleased with the music selection. The uplighting really added to the room and looked great. We would highly recommend RSP Entertainment!

John Wilson was our DJ for our 110 person wedding. Our guests were about 50/50 split between people 18-32 and 40+. Our music preferences are Alt Rock and 70's and 80's rock in various forms, which is usually not great for dancing. John worked with my husband's and my music preferences and did a fantastic job playing songs we enjoyed that kept everyone on the dance floor. He honored our music requests as outlined on the DJ planning form they provide. The DJ planning form also requested name pronunciation for the wedding party, and everyone's name was pronounced correctly even though there were some unusual ones

Great to work with and really helped with a lot of the questions I had. The guests had a great time and a great variety of music was played for all age ranges.

The whole process with RSP Entertainment went so smoothly. I contacted them pretty late, compared to most brides, but they were very accommodating. They were quick to respond to all my emails. If using them for a wedding reception and/or ceremony, they will provide you with a detailed planning guide and song lists for reference which will guide your assigned DJ through the evening events. My assigned DJ was Madison and she is AMAZING. She made me feel so comfortable in our planning phone call. My husband and I were pretty nervous about having to dance in front of people for the whole length of our song (we’re not dancers) and she worked with me to fade out the song and it was perfect! She kept the party going all night! Our guests raved about the music. I cannot say enough good things about RSP Entertainment!

If I could give more stars to RSP Entertainment I would! Russell Prusak was our DJ for the evening. I had a lot of complicated requests and trusted him to make it how I envisioned. He way exceeded my expectations on how smooth everything would go. And to add to that, a huge storm broke out in the middle of our reception, leaving the downstairs soaking wet and unable to be used. Russell was able to move some equipment upstairs and get the music going again. Needless to say, there was non-stop dancing after that. We have had many of our guests say "that was the most fun wedding I have been to" and "that DJ was amazing, there was never a dull moment." All I can say is that if you have music needs for a special occasion, you NEED to book RSP Entertainment. Even if you are not local, Russell travels to you. I will forever be thankful to him for saving my wedding and making it the best day of my life!

DJ Scott did an outstanding job, and we were just so thrilled with the way everything turned out! We received several comments on how much the look of the room was transformed from ceremony to reception, and a big part of that was the LED uplights provided by RSP. I'm really glad I upgraded to the medium sound system with subwoofers - that filled the room and had lots of low-end thump. Everything went smoothly and we had just the perfect wedding. RSP, especially DJ Scott, played a large role in that!

In the words of our photographer... "the man, the myth, the LEGEND!" I cannot imagine a better DJ than Roy at RSP Entertainment! In one conversation, he knew us so well and was able to flawlessly host our wedding. He kept everything moving fluidly. He kept our guests entertained the entire time and kept us on schedule when we were clueless about what to do next. He was able to read the crowd and play songs that kept people on the dance floor. He was professional the entire way through and had a great set-up throughout our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I cannot say enough great things about Roy!

RSP was perfect for our big day. Roy was great throughout the entire process and being familiar with our venue was a huge plus. This eliminated most questions and made everything run smoothly. We could not have asked for a better night and we owe a big portion of that to Roy and his entertainment.

I am so happy that I decided to book RSP for my wedding. Russell was amazing to work with from the start, and the entire team was very quick to respond to my emails and ensure all my questions were answered. Russell did a phenomenal job with the reception announcements and handled my guests continuous song requests all night with ease. Towards the end of our negotiated play time, we didn't want the party to end, and Russell happily agreed to stay an extra hour to let us continue to celebrate. Also, I decided to add uplighting to my package at last minute, and RSP had rented out all of their equipment for the night, but Russell reached out to another company to ensure I got the uplights that I wanted. I would recommend RSP Entertainment over and over again!

RSP entertainment did a wonderful job as the DJ at our wedding. Russell was absolutely amazing. He took the time to go over our plan and ensure he included everything we wanted. Everything went so smooth with Russell handling our announcements, and he took special care to make sure he pronounced all the names correctly. He played all of our favorite songs and made sure everyone was having fun. RSP provided beautiful lighting and an amazing personalized monogram. We were so impressed with Russell, he and RSP were amazing to work with and made our wedding a blast!

Roy was our DJ for our wedding in October! He did an outstanding job keeping the crowd going and playing great music! We had guests of all ages and Roy did a wonderful job choosing a variety of music that everyone loved! Our guests loved it! Roy was very easy going and made sure that we had everything we wanted for our wedding! Wonderful DJ!

My husband found Roy and his DJ company after lots of internet searching. We are so glad we looked outside of Cville, because not only was the value for price much higher, but Roy was also great to work with throughout our wedding planning process. He truly listened to all of our requests and helped us bring our musical vision to life. We loved having him there for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to provide the music. It was so much easier than hiring separate musical entertainers, and he did an excellent job transitioning to each. Roy was great at understanding the flow of the events, announcing things at the appropriate time, and being flexible when we fell off schedule.

RSP were easy to work with and we were very pleased with our experience with them! There were no issues and the music was great!

John did an incredible job for our wedding! from our conversation the week before the wedding, making sure he understood exactly what genre of music we wanted throughout the night to special requests, to talking with the bridal party before introductions to ensure correct name pronunciations, to coordinating with our planner on changes/delays throughout the night he was professional, articulate, and most importantly, enjoyable. John did a great job reading our party and playing songs to get everyone involved!

The DJ was nice and professional, but I was a little disappointed with the music selection. My RSVPs had a space for a song request and I compiled a list of over 150 songs that I would like to have played and it was okay if he couldn't get to all of them, but to play as many as he could during the regular dancing time... but he barely played the songs on my list and worse off he played 3 Grease songs back to back.... soundtracks? I don't mind ONE Grease song, but three back to back was overkill.. especially when I spent hours writing out a list. He was just to lazy to download all the songs and make my playlist. I could have just hired a stranger to make the playlist and play it for less than I paid him to play songs I didn't want played and for way less than we paid. Not bad service, just bad preparation. I would recommend being VERY specific with what you want and do not want.

We could not be more pleased with RSP Entertainment! From the beginning, Roy was incredibly easy to work with and accommodated our last minute changes. RSP Entertainment's planning guide was easy to follow and made planning the music for our reception as painless as possible. Scott was an awesome DJ! Our guests absolutely loved him. We LOVED having RSP DJ our wedding. We used John and got more than our money's worth. I never felt stressed about any of the prep before the wedding. Roy handled all the paperwork and then flawlessly handed everything over to John the week of the wedding. When you use RSP you are in great hands. They will make sure you get the music that you want at your event. At our wedding, John was great with talking with our guests, facilitating the events of our reception, and I could tell he really cared about making our day special. There is no surprise they have such rave reviews :)

Russell did a great job. He kept the crowd dancing all night, and did a great job with announcements. He talked enough to keep things moving, but little enough to forget he was there (in a good way). There was a huge variety of music that appealed to everyone at the party. He did a great job.

Russ did such an incredible job managing my high expectations and short notice and turned our wedding into an incredible experience. He is a great emcee and kept the guests moving to where they needed to be and, of course, kept the party going! He played a great mixture of exactly what I wanted, great playlists for both older guests and the little ones. He (and Roy) are very polite and bend over backward to make your wedding experience perfect. We certainly wouldn't change a thing!
