RSVP - Russell Smithe Video Productions

r a videographer to capture the day. He said yes without hesitation and did not disappoint. Highly recommend, he’s very talented.

uring every special moment so naturally that we hardly noticed the camera was there. The attention to detail was outstanding — from the small, meaningful glances to the big emotional moments, nothing was missed. The final video beautifully tells the story of our day and exceeded all our expectations. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, thoughtful, and truly talented, we can’t recommend them highly enough!

ank you Russell!

e’ll be watching our video forever. 1000% recommend!

ays so it was a no brainer that he would capture ours. He truly is “non obtrusive” and captures the day without the hassle of making you pose or feel uncomfortable in your own skin. From the behind the scenes to getting on the dance floor right along with us, we call him a friend more than a vendor. The package pricing is reasonable and his edits, music choices and personal audio makes it something we will cherish for years to come. I can’t recommend him enough!! You NEED Russell to capture your day, and as a friend in general.

en sent unedited footage of our ceremony, reception, and of us during our photos. They were so good! All of ours guests loved them. I can't recommend Russell enough!

six months ago, and my husband and I have watched our wedding videos more times than we can count. We are absolutely in love with the quality, the emotion, and the artistry of each film. Russell poured so much time and dedication into capturing and editing every moment—his work is simply outstanding. When I first started wedding planning, the search for a videographer felt overwhelming. I stumbled upon RSVP Video in a Facebook group and checked out Russell’s website—the reviews speak for themselves, and the sheer number of sample videos gave me total confidence in his style and experience. Even though videography wasn’t originally in our budget, RSVP offers a variety of packages that made it accessible and customizable. I’m beyond grateful we opted for extended coverage and drone footage—Russell captured everything from the tiniest details of the venue to the biggest emotional moments. I was nervous about having someone film us all day, but Russell’s unobtrusive style made it feel completely natural. He blended in seamlessly, never made us feel awkward, and allowed us to be ourselves—embarrassing dance moves and all! We had several phone calls before the big day, so meeting him in person felt like reconnecting with a friend. He was professional, punctual (even arrived early to capture venue details), and incredibly fast with editing—we received our films so quickly, which made reliving the day even more special. Russell has over 20 years of experience and has filmed more than 1,100 weddings. His passion, humor, and kindness shine through in everything he does. If you’re on the fence about hiring a videographer—don’t be. You will regret skipping it, and you’ll be so glad you chose Russell. He’s worth every single penny. Highlights: Professional and easygoing Not pushy at all Fairly priced with flexible packages Punctual and prepared Lightning-fast editing turnaround Genuinely kind, funny, and a joy to be around Bottom line: Hire Russell. You’ll thank yourself for years to come. https://vimeo.com/1065896694?fl=pl&fe=sh

Russell to anyone looking for a wedding videographer!

eded to hire Russell. Russell took the time to listen to what my husband and I wanted and helped make the planning process east and stress free. During our initial phone call I really appreciated how he escribed his style and how he operates the day of the wedding. He said we would hardly know he was there and he would never pose or make us do anything to feel uncomfortable. From guests, to the wedding party to my husband and I we all felt comfortable being ourselves to capture those authentic moments. He was always available to answer any questions I had and an absolute pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend Russell enough!!

y. Russell was calm and patient and eased a lot of the anxiety that comes with a wedding. Guests and family of all ages loved to see his unobtrusive filming style. Once the party kicked into gear Russell was right in the action and didn’t miss a second. Thank you Russell for making our dreams come true.

tinue to capture everything perfectly. The highlight video is stunning and fully captures all the emotions from the day and the documentary film allows us to fully relive the day start to finish. It's a day I never want to forget and thanks to Russell's videography skills I not only remember but get to relive every moment. I even got compliments form my guests that he was fully in the dance floor capturing great moments. Also a nod to Russell for giving us a gorgeous professional photo the day after to hold us over while the videos got edited =) he was a joy to work with and I would highly recommend him to be your videographer on your special day =)

dding on 9/28/24 and Russell was more than helpful! Our initial phone call really set the tone - it felt like an added support system built into a vendor. Working with Russell during the planning process, on the actual wedding day, and follow ups felt like we were conversing with an old friend. Russell brought a lot of energy, excitement, and calmness to the event. He will make you feel like an absolute movie star! Cannot recommend RSVP Video enough!

edding day with such a contagious energy and knew exactly what to film to the point that he changed our timeline last minute to make sure he captured the most perfect sunset. Our wedding video trailer was simply amazing. Many people who have already been married have reached out and regretted not booking someone like Russ to capture their special day. We HIGHLY recommend RSVP Video!

y. I would hire him in a heartbeat again and recommend him to any bride who wants a perfect wedding video!

rch Landing many times before and my photographer had not, so he used his knowledge of the venue space and worked together with her and her second shooter (even though the 3 had never met) and truly became a dream team for our day. We went with the Gold package, it was 8 hours of coverage and we received a 6 1/2 minute highlight film and an hour and a half documentary style film and both were phenomenal and really helped us remember parts of our day that got foggy and helped us see parts of our day that we had to miss from being pulled in every direction. We can’t thank or recommend Russell / RSVP enough!!

rt to finish was easy and stress free. The day of our wedding Russell made us all feel so comfortable in front of the camera and the results of all the footage were exactly what we wanted. Russell even took extra time helping us determine the best songs for our highlight video and clipping out specific parts of our wedding to make them their own videos. If you are debating about videography we HIGHLY recommend you go with one and that it be RSVP Video Productions. We are beyond happy with the final products and can't wait to work with Russell and RSVP again!

ts are easy and he allows you to decide the flow of your video with your own song choices. He has the best equipment and drone footage. During the wedding, you hardly know he’s there and let’s you just enjoy your day. Cannot recommend him enough!

he Smith Barn. You need to go with RSVP Video!

sive. Communication was great through the wedding day and he was very thorough, making sure he captured all of the special moments during our day. Russell was so kind to both mine and my husband's family and friends and I would gladly refer his services to anyone looking for a wedding videographer. I thought that his pricing was more than fair as well. The final product was beautiful and we are looking forward to re-living our wedding day through the videos he created for the rest of our lives. Thank you Russell!

ng… But to see the full video and our day from another perspective was something that we will be able to look back on for many years to come !

was with us the day of our wedding. My expectations were far exceeded when he shared our highlight reel. He captured and timed footage to our vows just perfectly. We were both completely blown away. Absolutely epic camera work and I am so glad we went with him for our special day! He is super talented and just a pleasure to work with. We booked him a year before the wedding and he is just so communicative and organized leading up too and after the wedding. Insane turnaround time too! He knows what he is doing and is the best in the biz for sure!!! Book him!!!

(and in the editing room). Before speaking with Russell for the first time, I (the bride) was skeptical about having videography at all. After our first phone call with Russell, I did a complete 180 and we knew Russell was the pro for the job! We were immediately sold. Working with him was a real treat, and seeing the finished product… my goodness it really blew us away. Our highlight video is beyond what we could have dreamed, and our full length video is truly high quality, artistic, genuine, and very clearly was handled with care. While he is a very experienced wedding/event videographer, not once did we feel like “just another couple.” He took the time to get to know us and was able to deliver videos that made us smile, laugh, cry, and most importantly NOT CRINGE. Russell captured the special moments, the romantic moments, the epic moments - and it was all authentic to us to the wedding day itself. He nailed all the details, the setting, and the people. We were fortunate to have a beautiful autumn day that was the perfect weather, and Russell’s footage captured ALL OF IT. Nothing was lost in translating the day to the film. We can’t say enough about our entire experience from start to finish. Worth mentioning also is how quick the turnaround time was to actually receive the footage from him. We heard from a number of couples (to specify, these were not clients of Russell!) who waited a whole year (or more) to get their wedding videos. Russell got them promptly to us in 2 months…. !!! To summarize, RUSSELL KNOWS WHAT HE’S DOING. We can’t wait to work with him again in the future!

ice he was filming the night, yet he captured EVERYTHING. He was completely unobtrusive and incredibly friendly. Both Russell and John were incredibly responsive, helpful, and wonderful to work with. We cannot recommend RSVP enough!

n, who was our videographer and we liked his style and personality. They checked in along the wedding planning process. We had a timeline check in meeting and they confirmed our details. John had worked with our photographer in the past, and you could tell by the harmonious way that they interacted. We absolutely love our ceremony and reception footage, to be able to look back on our wedding day for years to come. The highlight reel is a great synopsis and we are excited to share it with our friends and family. We full heartedly recommend RSVP Video.

o have all the videos from our church ceremony, the speeches from the wedding night and of course all of the dancing! Do not hesitate book with Russell! So easy to work with as well with great packages available! Thank you Russell for capturing our most special day.

this did. It was amazing. Not only that, I knew the second I met Russell for the first time that he was going to be amazing. He has this calmness and confidence about him that you know you’re in great hands. I highly recommend getting a videographer for your wedding, but even more so recommend RSVP more than anything. Amazing!
