AVOID BOOKING with Ruby Finch Bridal Artist Agency if reliability matters.
My makeup artist “forgot” my wedding appointment and I was notified at 2:09 PM during my scheduled 1–3 P...
M service window (for a 4 PM ceremony). I had no choice but to do most of my own makeup.
A replacement artist arrived 5 minutes after the service window and spent ~10 minutes on rushed foundation and lashes as I was walking out the door. I completed my bridal look myself, which is exactly what I booked a makeup artist to avoid.
After 5 months of follow-up, their final response was that the service was “completed” (because I didn’t flat out refuse the replacement artist) and I’m still expected to pay the full fee.
So just to be clear…. Ruby Finch considers 10 minutes of late, rushed makeup to be a full bridal service.
Poor communication, no accountability, and no meaningful resolution. Please, for the sake of your wedding day, look elsewhere for hair & makeup.

I had never had my hair & makeup done professionally before, and was completely blown away by how amazing it turned out. I had the absolute pleasure of being connected with Selena (hair) and Marielle (makeup), and I can’t even begin to recommend them enough!
I’m not someone that knows much about hair, and I showed Selena a few inspiration pictures but essentially just said I’m fine with whatever. She did the most incredible job on my hair. I was so taken back when I saw it! I didn’t have anything much in mind for my hair and didn’t know what to expect - but it had the most gorgeous old Hollywood glam vibe. She also did hair for two other ladies that day and both turned out absolutely stunning.
Marielle’s makeup skills are seriously incredible! She was so thorough and precise with everything she did. I couldn’t believe how flawless my skin looked, and what an amazing job she did on my eyes. It seriously was such a work of art. And again, amazing work on the other two ladies that received services as well. The makeup Marielle did for me completely matched the vibe with my hair & my dress.
I truly cannot begin to thank these ladies enough for making my day extra special. It was so convenient having them come to the hotel to provide their services, and they were so lovely to chat with too. I would recommend booking through Ruby Finch (big big big shoutout to Selena & Marielle!!) to anyone and everyone.

TED ALL DAY. I cried A LOT and my eye makeup did not budge or smudge. My hair looked exactly the same as it had after Selena had wrapped up after a full day of shooting in the heat and humidity, a reckless dress change in the back of a car and a long night of karaoke. They were both quite personable and easy to get along with, too. Listened to my general direction and really took off with some great results.

So I was fortunate enough to receive my trial hair and makeup at home in Austin, and then my "day-of" hair and make up in Vegas. Seriously, talk about lucky. Communication with their team was incredibly easy and fast. They're super clear on their policies and what to expect, both from a services and financial perspective (aka - no surprise fees or anything. They even include the artists' tips into your invoice so you don't have to worry about figuring it out yourself). The scheduling and coordinating with the owner and artists was seamless. Everyone was lovely, prompt, professional, talented, and listened to what I wanted - and delivered beautifully on those wishes. Thank you, Ruby Finch!

I was the MOH at my sisters wedding, and she had a medical emergency the morning of the wedding that threw our schedule/plan out the door. Team RF (led by the fearless and incredibly helpful Patricia) were so adaptable to our newly emerging needs, and so greatly contributed to making the day a huge success. Leslie, our hairstylist, was super talented and a wonderful listener. She is someone who you can trust to give full creative freedom because she works really well with what’s in front of her AND the wants/needs that have been expressed. Same goes for Sara, our makeup artist. She was such a great listener and gave us the glam yet natural feel that we desired for the wedding. Both professionals were so calm, caring, and talented. You can tell they love what they do, and they’re extremely good at it. I’m very appreciative for their presence and ability to provide creative solutions in a stressful situation.
All in all I cannot recommend RF highly enough! I feel lucky I got to connect with them for the brief time I did and I wish them all the success and fulfillment in this life and beyond. Y’all are champions. Much love to you.

Cora did my hair and the hair for my bridesmaids and mothers; while Tamanda did my makeup and the makeup for my mother-in-law. Tamanda was amazing - super chill and nice. Made you feel so relaxed. And dang does she know what she's doing. Her makeup application was flawless - everything looked so blended and natural, just how I hoped! Our reception venue ended up having a major AC issue and I would have not been surprised if all my makeup melted off halfway through the night...but everytime I'd look in the mirror on a bathroom break, I was literally blown away at how good my hair and makeup still looked. Cora was a dream when it came to a hair stylist. So, so, so talented. Every person in my group LOVED their hair and during each styling, she was so super receptive to on-the-spot feedback and flexible in making changes whenever needed. She has such a positive energy and is honestly a great person to be around the day of your wedding. When my mother started freaking out because she wasn't liking her hair, Cora remained so positive and professional throughout it all, and just continued to try out new do's until my mother finally fell in love with her look.

wedding in Nevada and my wedding planners booked Ruby Finch salons to do the hair and make up for me and my party of 3 (matron of honor, mother of the bride, mother of the groom). They were absolutely wonderful. They were both extremely attentive and listened to everyone's request. I did not have a trial run with the girls prior to my wedding, but I was able to send inspiration / pictures to them via email and we discussed each look. They managed their time well and they were a pleasant addition to the morning of, easy to talk with and kept the situation fun. Cora did my hair and I had many people comment on it throughout the night. I had a hairpiece that she managed to display beautifully. Chrislynn did my make up and I was so so pleased. I was going for a soft, organic and natural look and she delivered. -- Special thanks to both girls for doing a great job and making everyone feel beautiful!
