arty. After looking at the selection, we realized that the very generic look of the suits was not something we were interested in, style-wise. We then started looking online at some other retail options and again were not thrilled with the uncertainty of sizes or what they really look like in person. We ended up trying two or three "small-town" shops in the area and ultimately saw that Rudi's was the right choice for us. Rudi's offered a wide variety of tuxedo styles and colors. We wanted a dual wardrobe change: a classic black tux for the ceremony, switching to a glitzy/glittery/white look for the reception. The amount of choices that this company allowed us to have to meet both looks was extraordinary. We were able to choose different colors, different styles of tuxedo, different lapels, different styles of vests, different styles of shoes, and offered a vast array of accent colors to build your vision. As a same sex couple, we were elated to work with some of the nicest people who really wanted our vision to come to life. When we made some decisions, the staff would be very honest and tell us whether it would look good or bad in photos, if the style of choices would be good for our body types, and were also honest to celebrate when some of our ideas were not in the "norm." One of the big off the cuff ideas we spoke to was having our best "people" be in a completely different look of all black and gold, in contrast to the grooms. The lady working with us actually really loved the idea when she heard it and jumped with excitement looking for different combinations that would complement our tuxes already chosen. The other major thing that this company did that none of the "box stores" were willing to offer was that one of our "best people" was a female best friend who wanted to wear a tux along with all of us. They worked extremely hard to ensure that she felt comfortable and beautiful in her own special way in her tuxedo. They were able to taper off her pants so that it fit a female more appropriately. They were able to make all alterations right there in the store. For instance, when we got our white jackets, my jacket had a white button and my husband's had a black button. I said that I wanted even the buttons to match, and they were able to exchange the buttons on the jacket in about a minute to ensure that our vision was brought to life. This company went above and beyond for us and welcomed us like family, no matter how demanding we were. The staff gave us hugs and kisses when we picked up the tuxes and said that it was their absolute pleasure working with us. Can't wait for the next opportunity to work with them again.

days and times. One groomsman had to go back 3 times until his jacket was available in store and one groomsman had no jacket and had to return. My husband had a button pop off before he even buttoned his jacket and others had a vest that was too tight, jacket too long, and they were missing items such as a bowtie and suspenders. Maybe we are a fluke bridal party with many issues, but as a bride so many other things are stressful the week of so this was one more thing we had to stress about.
