Jacqueline Thain is a farmer-florist, designer, wife, and mom of four who believes that good design starts with listening and that honesty is one of the greatest gifts you can give a client. After more than 20 years in high-end hospitality, she built Rue & Pear Flower Co. with a commitment to clarity, sustainability, and creating florals that truly support a couple’s vision.
Though she’s a straight shooter and values efficiency and structure, Jacqueline also gets undeniably gushy about love. Weddings, in all their emotion and meaning, still catch her in the best way—and that mix of practicality and heart shows up in every design she creates.
She grows many of her own flowers, leaning into natural movement, intentional color, and seasonally driven choices. Clients value her depth of care, her ability to interpret ideas even when they’re not fully formed, and her steady, grounded presence and grace throughout the planning process.
